Amanda Kay Strunk, 26, of Isle of Palms, died Thursday, October 31, 2002 at a local hospital. She was born in Springfield, IL to William L. and Carol Koeller Strunk. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School and played on their tennis team. She had previously lived and studied in Florence and Tuscany, Italy and also attended Florida International and College of Charleston. She was a member of Sunrise Presbyterian Church. Besides her parents of Isle of Palms, she is survived by two brothers, Jeffery W. and Joshua A. Strunk, both of Mt. Pleasant, maternal grandmother Kathleen Koeller Jones of Six Mile, SC, paternal grandmother, Doreen Strunk of Farmington, IA, aunts and uncles, Richard Koeller of Minnesota, Bruce Strunk of IA, Doris Turner of IL, and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Memorial Service, 2:30 PM Sunday, November 3, 2002, at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 3222 Middle St., Sullivans Island, the family will be receiving friends and guests at the church hall immediately following the service. OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC - Agnes A. Gupton, 87, of Beach Drive SW, died Friday, November 1, 2002 in Mariner Health Care, Wilmington, NC.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on October 25, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Pierce Andrews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ned Gupton, her grandson, William Tyrone Floyd, three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are her son, Joe Gupton and wife, Priscilla of Supply, NC; two daughters, Carolyn Floyd and husband, Billy, and Pat Gupton, all of Charleston, SC; one sister, Mildred A. Williams, Chapel Hill, NC; one sister-in-law, Eloise Andrews, Ocean Isle Beach, NC; five grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2002 at 2:00 PM in Jennies Branch Baptist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Benton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

CONWAY - Helen Elvis Todd, age 67, wife of James E. Todd, of Highway 378, died Thursday, October 31, 2002 at Loris Community Hospital following an illness. Mrs. Todd was born in Conway, a daughter of Perry and Edna Cribb Elvis. She was a member of Freeworship Freewill Baptist of the Pentecostal Faith Church, and was former owner/operator of the Ole Smokehouse Restaurant. Mrs. Todd was predeceased by a daughter, Debbie Todd Smith, step-mother, Nell Elvis and two brothers, Lloyd Elvis and Henry Elvis.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Conway are two sons, James Randy Todd and his wife Patricia and Terry "Ted" Todd and his wife Michelle all of Conway; two daughters, Jeanette Cannon and her husband Rev. Greg Cannon of Turbeville and Patsy Cox and her husband Billy of Conway; one son-in-law Frankie Smith of Conway; one sister, Perrynell Harmon of Cottageville, SC; three brothers, Bo Elvis and Monty Elvis of Conway and Buddy Elvis of Charleston; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Born November 25, 1932, in Silyong, Korea, she was the daughter of the late Chaetto Park and BoSon Kim. Mrs. Bok-Kim was a homemaker and a member of Korean United Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hu Jun Kim.
Surviving are son, Kevin H. Kim of North Charleston; daughters, HyunSuk Murphy of Kingston, N.Y., InSuk Chvarah and Michelle King, both of Myrtle Beach and Ellen Granum of Greensboro; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, JungHun Park of Seoul, Korea, and son-in-law, Steve Sheverick.
