Mrs. Danque was born January 19, 1944, the daughter of Phillip C. Repique and Elizabeth Ryan Repique. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of Ladson, S.C.; one son, Tony Advincula of Ladson, S.C.; two daughters, Darla Grammer of Goose Creek, S.C., and Marlena Therrell of Goose Creek, S.C.; three brothers, Ronald Ray Repique of North Charleston, S.C., Gary Michael Repique of Summerville, S.C., and Andy Repique of Wahalla, S.C.; eight grandchildren.

HARLEYVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Marie M. Bonds of 170 Duncan Chapel Road, Harleyville, SC died Thursday October 31, 2002 in an Orangeburg hospital.

Mrs. Bonds was born November 20, 1929 in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Charles P. and Marie Tolison Motte. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Harleyville.

Viola Snell McVay, of Mount Pleasant, SC, widow of Richard J. McVay died Thursday, October 31, 2002, in a local hospital. Mrs. McVay was born August 3, 1924, in Laramie, Wyoming, daughter of Amos Snell and Mary Ellen Norman Snell. She was a US Army Veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Harvin of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Peggy Sabback of Hanahan, SC; one sister, Alma Noyes of Cheyenne, Wyoming, two grandsons, Alex Harvin of Mount Pleasant, SC and Zachary Sabback of Hanahan, SC. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Devin Harvin.

LUPTON, JR., Waldo:
B.Waldo Lupton, Jr., was born in Stonewall, NC, October 7, 1925. The son of Benjamin Waldo Lupton, Sr. and Beatrice Dee Daniels.

He attended N.C. State University and served in the United States Navy during W.W.II in Australia, Okinawa and the Philippines.
Waldo Lupton was a partner at Schroder-Lupton Public Accountants and assumed ownership of the firm after the passing of Mrs. Frances B. Schroder. He was presently operating the firm with his two daughters, Betsy Lupton and Debbie Conrad.
Mr. Lupton became a member of the SC Association of Public Accountants in 1956, joined the National Society of Public Accountants in 1957 and was accredited by the Accreditation Council for Accounting and Taxation. He served on the Board of Directors and was elected President of the Coastal Chapter of the SC Association of Public Accountants. He also served as President and on the Board of Directors, for the State Chapter of the SC Association of Public Accountants and was honored for outstanding devotion and service to the Association.
Mr. Lupton was a founding member of the James Island Exchange Club where he served as President and other offices. He was recognized by the National Exchange Club and later served as President of the SC District Exchange Club.
Waldo Lupton was active in The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), serving as an elder and deacon, and the James Island Masonic Lodge #396 where he served a term as Master.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Vendrick Lupton; three daughters: Deborah Joan Conrad and her husband Arthur of Charleston, SC, Susanne M. Lemke and her husband Wray of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Betsy Lupton of James Island, SC; one brother LeRoy Lupton of Stonewall, NC; three grandchildren: Corey and Casey Conrad of Charleston and Jay Willingham of Atlanta. His son, Benny Lupton, predeceased him.

SANDKUHLER, William
Lieutenant Commander William "Sandy" Sandkuhler USNR (Ret.), 76, of Summerville, husband of Maureen A. Sandkuhler, died Tuesday afternoon in a North Charleston hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 1, 2002 at 11 o'clock in St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave., Summerville. Inurnment will be held at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Sandy was born on August 24, 1926 in New York, New York, a son of the late William Sandkuhler, Sr. and Elsie Swain Sandkuhler. He was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Class of 1949, and U.S. Navy Supply School, he served in the Navy on the USS Grand Canyon and put the USS James C. Owens back in commission and saw combat service in Korea. He also served at the 3rd Naval District in New York, as the supply officer for Mobile Construction Battalion 10 located on Guam, and at the Naval Supply Center, Bayonne, NJ.
After leaving the Navy, he began a 29 year career with RCA Missile and Surface Radar Division, Moorestown, NJ. While with RCA, he served as the Logistics Leader for the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) in Greenland, Alaska, and the United Kingdom. He also was the Logistics Manager for the Kiernan Reentry Measurement Site (KREMS) in Kwajelein, Marshall Islands and as the Aegis Depot Manager at Moorestown, NJ. He retired and moved to Summerville in 1989.
Upon his retirement and relocation to Summerville, he was active in the Navy League, the Charleston Chapter of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumi Association and twice served as the President of the Southpointe Homeowners Association.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maureen A. Sandkuhler, 3 sons: William Sandkuhler, III of Kailua, Hawaii, Brigadier General Kevin M. Sandkuhler USMC of Stafford, VA, Robert J. Sandkuhler of Lititz, PA; 1 daughter, Anne E. Sandkuhler of San Francisco, CA; 8 grandchildren: Danny Sandkuhler of Kailua, Hawaii, Severn I. GRAY, Thelma
Thelma Dean Gray, 88, died Monday, October 28, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Gray was born November 11, 1913, in Charleston, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Columbus Evert Dean and Stella Blanche Cavender Dean. She was a graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston, W.Va. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Col. Russell Earl Gray, USAF Ret. Married to an Air Force Officer she never consented to fly to any destination. Even though she and the family lived in the Philippines and Hawaii, travel by ocean-liner was her means of transportation. She and her husband retired in the Washington, D.C., are and later moved to Melbourne, Fla. Six years ago they relocated to Charleston, S.C. Mrs. Gray is survived by one brother, Kermit Dean, of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Betty Laparl, of Ohio; one son, Russell Earl Gray, Jr., and wife Patricia, of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Penelope (Penny) Todd and husband Larry, of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
