Mr. Classen was born in Charleston, SC on July 11, 1938, the son of the late Henry Cord Classen and Beatrice Rourk Classen. He attended Charleston High School, was a member of the Pipe Fitters Local, and owner of R.A. Classen Mechanical Contractor. He was a member of Victory Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife of Ladson, SC; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and "Bubba" Hickman of St. George, SC; three sisters, Brenda Abriel of Walterboro, SC, Betty Warthal of Charleston, SC, Beulah Guin of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Terry Classen and Randy Classen of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren: Allan Hickman, Nick Hickman, Richie Hickman, Megan Hickman, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. DuPuis was born October 10, 1928, in Charleston, SC, son of Edward Charlton and Mary Rosalie Wolff DuPuis. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston. He was a member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church. Mr. DuPuis retired from 40 years at The Post & Courier as the Manager of the Camera Department. He was a member of The Quarter Century Club of the Post & Courier. He was a member and secretary of the James Island Wheelers Square Dance Club, and a member and treasurer of the Merry Go Round Round Dancers.
He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; three daughters, Michele Bouchard (Ricky) of Augusta, GA, Yvonne Acuff of Ft. Worth, TX, and Flora Campbell (Billy) of Jacksonville, FL; three sons, Bruce C. DuPuis (Joy) of Madison, FL, Stanley DuPuis of Charleston, SC, and Oren DuPuis (Kim) of Juniper, GA; six step-daughters, Juanita Childers (Larry) of Mauldin, SC, Jackie Bennett of Dublin, GA, Nancy Willetts of Camden, SC, Jane Cauthen of North Charleston, SC, Carolyn Auvil (Allan) of Greenville, SC, and Joy Cordray (John) of Charleston, SC; two step-sons, Robert E.
