GRIFFIN, Emily B.
CAMERON Mrs. Emily Birchmore Griffin, 64, of 8383 Old State Road, Cameron, died Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The funeral will be 11 AM Saturday, December 7, 2002 in the Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Baughman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cameron Memorial cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 10 AM.
Mrs. Griffin was born in Orangeburg a daughter of the late James Theodore Birchmore and Inez Robison Birchmore. A life long resident of Cameron, she was a graduate of Cameron High School and North Greenville College. She was retired from the Elloree Garment Company and was currently employed at Golden Kernel Pecan Co. She was a member of Cameron Baptist Church, and the widow of Charles N. B. Griffin.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Colie Morse (Melinda) Crosby of North Charleston; a son, Charles Wayne (Karen) Griffin of Dublin, GA; mother-in-law, Mrs. Bessie Griffin of Santee; grandchildren, Colie, Sarah, and Claire Crosby all of North Charleston, and Tyler Wayne and Kyle Reed Griffin both of Dublin, GA; and a special cousin, Mrs. Virginia Bishop of Cameron.

RUBINO, Stephen
Stephen Thomas Rubino, husband of Lillian Donatelli Rubino of Mount Pleasant, SC died Wednesday, December 4, 2002. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Thomas Rubino are invited to attend the Funeral Mass of the former Friday, December 6, 2002 in Christ Our King Catholic Church at 1:00 o’clock. Mr. Rubino was born in Camden, NJ, son of Stephen and Mary Crilly Rubino. He attended Niagara University and was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He was also a life member of the Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his wife of Mount Pleasant, SC; one brother, Joseph R. Rubino of Charleston, SC; one sister, Kathryn R. Humphrey of Saratoga Springs, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie J. Keating.

MURRAY, Helen
Helen Kelley Murray, 87, of Hanahan, widow of Louis Tupper Murray, died December 4, 2002, in a local hospital.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2002, 1 p.m., at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Born October 31, 1915, in Wahalla, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Waddy B. Kelley and Hortence Taylor Kelly.
Mrs. Murray was a homemaker and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Survivors include, four sons, Thomas E. Murray and wife Mary of Hanahan, Louis B. Murray and wife Shirley of North Charleston, John P. Murray and wife Melissa of North Charleston, James T. Murray and wife Tisha of North Charleston, two brothers, Allen Kelley and Jack Kelley and wife Ruth both of Walhalla, S.C. Grandchildren, Kerrie Meyer, Thomas E. Murray, Jr., Lori Meyer Tew and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Blake Murray and other great-grandchildren. Two special friends, Tracy Giese and Dallas Ratliff.
Mrs. Murray was predeceased by her husband, Louis Tupper Murray and a son, John P. Murray, Sr.

FLORENO, Joseph
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 5, 2002 Joseph L. Floreno. Residence, Moncks Corner, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside services in Riverview Memorial Park Sunday, December 8, 2002 at 1 o'clock.
Mr. Floreno was born May 19, 1956 in Charleston, SC, a son of Lawrence Floreno and Miriam Brantley Floreno. He graduated from North Charleston High School and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his father of North Charleston, SC; one daughter, Kathryn Nicole Floreno; one brother, Cary Andrew Floreno of Williamsport, PA; and one sister, Karen F. Sirline of North Charleston, SC.
RODGERS, William
William Dallas (Bill) Rodgers, 45, died Wednesday at his residence. Mr. Rodgers was born in Kingstree, a son of Mabel Walters Rodgers and the late Willie M. Rodgers. He was a graduate of Kingstree Senior High School and a farmer. Mr. Rodgers was a member of the Brown's Landing Hunting Club, Ducks Unlimited, the National Rifle Association and Kingstree United Methodist Church. Surviving, his wife, Kathy Kennedy Rodgers of Kingstree; his mother of Kingstree; sister, Libby R. Ganes of Kingstree; niece, Heather Ganes of Salem; nephews, Quinton Ganes of Florence, Clifton I. Kennedy, III of Scranton, Cody and Zack Mims of Olanta; brother in law, Clifton L. Kennedy, Jr. of Scranton; sisters-in-law, Sandra Kennedy of Scranton and Debbie K. Mims of Olanta; grand-niece, Abby Jones. Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday in the WILLIAMSBURG FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cammie Peagler Pipkin, 88, of St. Stephen, SC, widow of Roosevelt Cales and Mackie Pipkin, died Wednesday evening in a Manning hospital.

Mrs. Pipkin was born July 17, 1914 in St. Stephen, SC, a daughter of Harmon Peagler and Hallie McMakin Peagler. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Pipkin was preceded in death by a daughter, Hildra Floyd and a son, Calvin Cales.
Surviving are a son, Harmon Cales of Douglas, GA; two daughters-in-law, Carolyn Cales of Douglas, GA and Audrey Cales of Jamestown; a brother, Cleo Peagler of Sumter; a sister, Iona Capper of California; two sisters-in-law, Grace Cales of Jamestown and Pearlie Mitchum of Cross; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Lemuel Hampton "Buster" Morris, 47, of Bethera, SC, a maintenance supervisor with Reliance Corntec, died Wednesday at his residence.

Mr. Morris was born May 25, 1955 in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of John M. Morris and Edna Mitchum Morris. He was a graduate of Macedonia High School. Mr. Morris was a member of the Macedonia Volunteer Fire Department and the Oceda Hunting Club. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Jane Mitchum Morris; a daughter, Chelsea Morris of Bethera; two sisters, Patricia M. Higgins of Moncks Corner and Lorita F. Just of Bethera; and four brothers: John U. "Bo" Morris, James L. Morris, Michael R. Morris, and John M. Morris, all of Bethera.
