ARMSTRONG, Harold
Harold E. Armstrong, 83, born in Pueblo, Colorado of Frank and Ida A. Armstrong died November 26, 2002, at Sandpiper Nursing Center of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He served 4 years in the US Navy on the USS Haines as Chief Machinist Mate in World War II. He received his education from: Oregon State Univ., Florida State University, Southern Adventist University and Andrews University of Seventh-Day Adventist in Michigan completing a masters of Divinity with a minor in Education. Mr. Armstrong served 13 years in pastoral and educational services. He served in his church as Bishop and Bible Study for 40 years. In 1965 he retired from teaching and formed his own Mt. Pleasant Appliance & Electrical Service: His life of service was one of highest integrity and kindness, one of trust and efficiency. He lived his religion with a smile. He never had to advertise but was always in demand by satisfied customers. He was greatly loved and respected by all.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Bradley-Armstrong, two sons, Frank David and Frederick Desmond, and one daughter Faye Dianne Kosarin, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Thomas 'Tommy' Anthony Zey, 37, of North Charleston, died November 29, 2002, at a local hospital. Born July 1, 1965, in Charleston County, he was the son of the late Florian Phillip Zey and Vennie Z. Groves. Inurnment will be held Friday, December 6, 2002, at 2 p.m., in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston. Mr. Zey was self-employed and a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors include, his wife Sharon Carson Zey of North Charleston, step-father of Lucky Kisler Groves of Cross, one son, Dustin Thomas Zey of North Charleston, three sisters, Deborah Roberson of Virginia, Terri Hallman of North Charleston, Theresa Thompson of North Charleston, four brothers, Michael Zey of Mississippi, Larry Zey of North Charleston, David Zey of North Carolina, Mark Zey of Moncks Corner and several nieces and nephews. Mauricio Figeroa Solis, 25, of North Charleston died suddenly in a car accident Saturday, November 30th. Born in Santa Ana Huista, Guatamala to Mateo Mauricio Figeroa Alva and Regina Solis Tomas. He is survived by three brothers, Roel Figeroa Solis, Jairon Figeroa Solis both of Charleston and Jason Mateo Figeroa Solis of Santa Ana Huista, also two sisters, Teudi Figeroa Solis, and Patricia Figeroa Solis both of Santa Ana Husita. STUCKEY, Robert
Robert Dickinson Stuckey, a resident of Merritt Island, FL entered this world on August 28, 1951 in Columbia, SC and moved on to the ultimate awareness on November 26, 2002 at home in Merritt Island. Robert was an honest, hard working and much loved man. He was a man of faith and a seeker of truth and meaning. He lived simply and loved well. He honored his commitments, protected those he loved and assisted those in need. Robert's wisdom, smile and quick wit will be long remembered by those who love him. He will also be remembered for his courage and serenity in the face of death. He was a truly brave man who left us far too soon. Robert is loved and greatly missed by his wife, Elizabeth, of Merritt Island, FL; a son, James Howell, of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Kristin Yannakopoulos of Tampa, FL and five grandchildren: Anna, Eleni, Grace, Emily and Alexi. Mr. Michael E. Switzer, age 58, of Oviedo, Florida, formally of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2002. He was born January 22, 1944, in Buffalo, New York, to Dorothy (Gross) and Elmer Switzer. Mr. Switzer was a veteran of the Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia W. Switzer of Oviedo, Fla., daughter, Michelle I. Rebello, of Denver, Colo.; granddaughters, Kira L. Rebello, Bridget I. Rebello, and Sortia R. Rebello; sister, Marion Sperraza of North Miami Beach, Fla., brothers, William Switzer of West Seneca, N.Y., and Lawrence Switzer of Boulder, Colo. WAGES, JR., Lonnie
Lonnie William Wages, Jr., 65, husband of Joyce Harper Wages of Edisto Island, SC and formerly of Columbia, SC, died Monday, December 2, 2002 in Charleston, SC. Mr. Wages was born Monday, May 17, 1937 in Columbia, the son of the late Lonnie William Wages, Sr., and Blanche Gertrude Greene Wages. He attended Columbia schools and was a member of the National Guard, retired fire fighter and arson investigator with the Columbia Fire Department. Mr. Wages was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Columbia, and a volunteer at St. Frederick and St. Stephen Catholic Church Edisto Island. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Surviving are his wife Joyce H. Wages; a daughter, Kathern W. Gonzales of Edisto Island; two sons, Lonnie W. Wages, III of Lexington, Joseph Lee Wages, Sr., of Gaston; two sisters, Margaret W. Corley of Lexington, Violet W. Fetner of Columbia; seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Pauline Seabrook Rivers, 88, the widow of Thomas Perry Rivers, of Mt. Pleasant, died in a local convalescent center December 2, 2002. The daughter of the late William Jeffords and Sara Bryan Gilliland Seabrook, she was born in Charleston, SC and attended Ashley Hall School in Charleston, Fassi Fern School for Girls in North Carolina and Winthrop College. Mrs. Rivers was a homemaker, accomplished seamstress, and owner of Pollys Fabrics. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Mt. Pleasant. She will be sadly missed by her son, William Ginn of Burlington, NC; daughter, Paula Rivers of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren: Chuck Wallace, Mt.
