CHERAW - Dixie Yoder Griggs, 85, died Friday, February 16, 2018. Born in Wheeler, IL she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Susie Stroud Yoder. She was the widow of Henry V. Griggs Jr. (65 years). She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books and traveling.
Surviving is her son, Frank Wiseman of Cheraw, SC, a daughter, Susan (B.J.) Leviner of Cheraw, SC, granddaughters, Mary Parker and Lisa Parker of the home, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Shilbiley Yoder-Niehoff of Altomont, IL, Judy often of Effingham, IL, Mary Yoder-Larry of Winterrowd, IL, and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Yoder of TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, a daughter, Mona Lisa Griggs Parker, brothers, Warren Yoder, Ronald Yoder, Charles Yoder, Perry Yoder, Leonard Yoder and a sister, Velma Jean Yoder Hubbard.
The family received friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.
A funeral service was held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
Queenie Elizabeth Adams Louallen
JEFFERSON - Queenie Elizabeth Adams Louallen, 92, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1PM from the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Jefferson, SC. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery. She was born July 18, 1925 to the late Robert Lee Adams, Sr. and Frances Mungo Adams. Survivors; four sons, Marvin Louallen (Sandra), Lynel Louallen (Kathy), Derrick Louallen (Glenda), all of Jefferson, SC and Fredrick Louallen (Sheila), Ruby, SC; three daughters, Gloriastine Jowers (Alvin), Jefferson, SC. Margaret Thomas (Clifford), Camden, SC and Jacqueline C. Louallen, Columbia, SC; two grandsons and a granddaughter she reared, Everette Gaines (Melissa), Ronald Gaines (Beverly), Jefferson, SC and Ernestine Ross, Elgin, SC; two brothers, Leo Adams, Winston Salem, NC and Robert Adams, Jr., Jefferson, SC; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Services were rendered by Flemming Funerals-Pageland. .

PATRICK - Mrs. Barbara Parks Lowery, age 67, entered into rest on Friday, February 16, 2018. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Wallace, Sr., Rev. Tommy Gaskin, and Rev. Tracey Gooding with burial following in the Clanton Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, February 19, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lowery was born September 6, 1950 in Patrick, SC a daughter of Oscar Lee Parks and the late Violet Crowley Parks. She was a retired employee of A.O. Smith in McBee, SC with 33 years of service. She was a beloved and faithful member of Clanton Plains Baptist Church where she served as secretary and church clerk.
She is survived by her loving husband, Reece Lowery of the home; father, Oscar Lee Parks of Patrick, SC, son, Bradley (Teresa) Easterling of Hartsville, SC; step-son, Michael Lowery of Marshville, NC; step daughter, Nichole (Chad) Clontz of Monroe, NC; brother, Ronnie (Gale) Parks of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Taylor (Russell) Clark, Carlee Easterling and Kayla Easterling all of Hartsville, SC, Zander, Maci, Wyatt, Marissa, Michalyn, and Mikenzie; great grandchildren, Isabella and Abigail; numerous nieces,

Bobbi Boone Mungo
PAGELAND - Mrs. Bobbi Boone Mungo, 67, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on February 13, 2018.
Bobbi was born on June 15, 1950 in Chesterfield County to Lois Robinson Boone and the late Bob Boone. She later met and united in marriage to the late Thomas C. “Tommy” Mungo. After the two married they began their adventure together, raising a beautiful family, traveling, and even starting their business, Smith Trucking. Bobbi loved going to the beach, as well as, riding in the car to different places. In her free time, she loved to shop, attend church where she was a member of Bethel Baptist, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dogs who she loved dearly.
Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving mother, Lois Robinson Boone of Jefferson, South Carolina; daughters, Gina Mungo of Pageland, South Carolina and Amy Mungo Miles (Wendell) of Jefferson, South Carolina; Son-In-Law, Troy Timney of Pageland, South Carolina; sister, Judy Baker (Bill) of Jefferson, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Missy Timney Sikes (Clay), Kayla M. Miles, Brantley Timney Daniels (Jay), Thomas J. Miles, Terra D. Timney, Sadie C. Timney, J. Daniel Timney, and Nathan R. Miles; one great-grandchildren, Jed Daniels; four-legged children, Buster and Forrest; special friends, Dale “Heavy” and Jenny Rorie of Pageland, South Carolina; also special niece, Kim Brock (Wesley) of Jefferson, South Carolina.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service was held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Laney and Rev. Marty Watkins officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Donnie Price
JEFFERSON - Mr. Donnie Price, 62, of Jefferson, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at McLeod Health Cheraw surrounded by his loving family.
Donnie was born on January 19, 1956 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late J. Heyward Price and Irene Brown Price. Donnie was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Jefferson and was also a Mason. He received a Business Degree from Coker College and was a retired Human Resource Officer with the United States Army. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, and coaching Dixie Youth Baseball which he did for 9 years. Donnie loved his family with all his heart and was extremely proud of each and every one of them.
Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving children, Kim Price Douglas (Kevin) of Mt. Croghan, South Carolina, Emily Price of Pageland, South Carolina, and Brandon Price (Cristina) of Pageland, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Kayden Douglas, Kara Douglas, Carter Price, and Brynlee Johnson; sister, Frances Linton (Mickey) of Jefferson, South Carolina; also one nephew, Mitch Linton (Nickie) of Kershaw, South Carolina.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service was held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Williams officiating. Burial followed in Jefferson Town Cemetery with Military Honors.

Catherine Rollins Rivers
CHESTERFIELD - Mrs. Catherine Rollins Rivers, age 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Funeral Services were held at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Phil Wyatt and Phillip Caulder, Jr. with burial following in the Chesterfield Cemetery. The family received friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rivers was born November 26, 1933 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Jennings Bryan “J.B.” and Maggie Brigman Rollins. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School Class of 1952 and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens – Delta Mills #2 plant with over 22 years of service. Catherine will be fondly remembered by her family for her self-sacrificing dedication in being a caregiver to many family members and loved ones throughout the years.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee Rivers; brothers, J. B. Rollins, Jr., and Marion Carl Rollins; sisters, Margaret R. Kirkland and Simonetta Rollins.
Survivors include her siblings, Anne (Bill) Lyles of Chesterfield, SC, Robert Carrison (Clara) Rollins of Cheraw, SC, Christine R. (Ted) Rogers of Maryland, Eunice (Doug) Ruff of Columbia, SC, and Ralph (Kaye) Rollins of Chesterfield, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Harold M. ‘Pops’ Adcock
PAGELAND - Mr. Harold M. “Pops” Adcock, age 80, entered into rest on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services were held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Providence Baptist Church by Dr. Roger Wall, Rev. Robert Garrett and Rev. Steve Neal, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2018, at Providence Baptist Church, 232 Providence Church Road, Pageland, SC.
Mr. Adcock was born November 19, 1937, in Chesterfield County, SC, a son of the late Henry Malachi and Nancy Horton Adcock. He was a former employee of Automatic Sprinkler and Sprinkler Fitters Union 669 of Bethesda, MD. Harold, along with his wife, owned and operated the New York Restaurant in Pageland for over 25 years. A faithful member of Providence Baptist Church for over 50 years, Mr. Adcock served as former deacon, member of the Cemetery Committee, Building and Grounds Committee, Sunday school teacher, Church Trustee, and various other committees throughout the years.
Mr. Adcock will be remembered as a man who loved the Lord, God’s word, and his family. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his tractor, and gardening in order to share his vegetables with friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and always enjoyed hosting a fish fry. His life touched others and exemplified the love of God to everyone he came in contact with.
In addition to his parents, Harold was also reunited in Heaven with his siblings that predeceased him, Buck Adcock, Bill Adcock, Joe Adcock, James Adcock, Edwin Adcock, Ruth Kirkley, Lula Kirkley, Carolyn Stewart, Lois Adcock, and an infant sibling.
Survivors include wife of 61 years, Marietta E. Adcock of the home; three children, Vickie (Rev. Robert) Garrett of Advance, NC, Chip Adcock (Kathy Plyler) of Monroe, NC, John C. (Michelle) Adcock of Pageland, SC; seven grandchildren, Rachel (Adam) Gardner of Austin, TX, Joni Garrett of Clemmons, NC, Marcie (Brad) Gasque of Seneca, SC, Brandon Adcock of Pageland, SC, Branson Adcock of Pageland, SC, Colby Adcock of Pageland, SC, and Bryce Adcock of Pageland, SC; three sisters, Bernice McPherson of Bethune, SC, Edith Kirkley of Jefferson, SC, and Bobbie Jean Mintz of Lexington, SC; one brother, Ray Adcock of Lancaster, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.

CHERAW - Catherine Creech Coates, 78, died Wednesday, February 07, 2018. Born in Marlboro County she was a daughter of the late Hamer and Manara “Pete” Jacobs Creech. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC. Mrs. Coates was retired from Stanley Tools. She was an avid reader.
Surviving is her husband, L.C. Coates of Cheraw, SC, sons, David (Sheila) Coates of Rock Hill, SC, Donald (Jennifer) Coates of Cheraw, SC, Dennis (Amanda) Coates of Chesterfield, SC, 5 grandchildren, a brother, Hamer Wilson (Jo Ann) Creech of Wray, GA, sisters, Evelyn King of Chesterfield, SC, Wanda Webster of Hamlet, NC, Julia (Terry) Carter of Anderson, SC, Martha (Roy) Burr of Laurens, SC, also many nieces and nephews.

CHERAW - Susan Sarra Fitzpatrick, 80, died Friday, February 9, 2018. Born in New Britain, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Helen Brezinski Sarra. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a member of Friends of the Matheson Library and the Humane Society. Nanny Sue, as she was known to her family and friends, loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, pet sitting, and her cat, Raven. All will remember her kind spirit.
She is survived by her sons, William (Beth) Maier of Cheraw, SC, Marc Maier of Cheraw, SC; daughters, Sue Ellen (Guy) Maier Mead of Isle of Palms, SC, Tara (Mark) Fitzpatrick Funderburk of Pageland, SC; a brother, John (Eve) Sarra of Monroe, CT; a sister, Judie (Bernie) Sarra McKinnon of Southington, CT. She also leaves grandchildren, Jesse (Kera) Mead, Mica (Colin) Sutherland, William Maier, IV, Mary Elizabeth Maier, Chelsea Maier, Sarra (Jeffery) Furr, Alexandra (Banyon Ford) Maier, Autumn Bryant; great grandchildren, George Coker Furr, Poppy Ford, Zoe Ford, and Calder Sutherland along with many nieces and nephews.

CHERAW - Olin Lavon “Tad” Graham, 83, died Saturday, February 10, 2018. Born in Cheraw, SC he was a son of the late Olin Q. and Nellie Smith Graham. He was a US Army (101st Air Borne) Korean Conflict Veteran. During his military service he received soldier of the year for his unit. Mr. Graham was a member of Cheraw First Baptist Church and the Berean Sunday School Class.
