LAKE WYLIE -- Shirley Frances Dalton, 80, of Lake Wylie, died March 30, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today, April 1, 2008, at River Hills Community Church, with the Rev. Bruce Jones officiating. Burial will be in River Hills Community Church Cemetery.
Dalton was born March 5, 1928, in Florence to Frances McBride Sansbury and the late G.F. Sansbury. She graduated from Toccoa Falls Schools, including courses at Toccoa Falls Commercial College. She was a longtime employee of Storer Broadcasting Co., headquartered in Miami, as an executive secretary and retired in 1975 from National Airlines, Miami, as executive secretary to the vice president and general counsel. She also was a member of the River Hills Country Club, River Hills Community Church, and longtime member of the American Contract Bridge League. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace Dalton.
Survivors are her mother, Frances Bostick of Spartanburg; children, Gary Doles of Orlando, Fla., Jeffrey and Suzanne Doles of Seffner, Fla., Gregory and Doreen Doles of Gainesville, Fla., and Jonathon and Heather Doles of Gainesville; stepchildren, Troy and Chip Dalton of Austin, Texas, Kemp and Susan Dalton of Greensboro, N.C., Randy and Debbie Dalton, and Elaine Barton, all of Cornelius, N.C., and Lori and Mike Patrick of Rock Hill; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to River Hills Community Church, 104 Hamilton's Ferry Road, Lake Wylie, SC 29710 or a charity of your choice.
M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover, is serving the family.
Russell Watson
LAKE WYLIE -- Russell Lawton Watson of Lake Wylie died July 12, 2007. He was skateboarding with his son and fell. Russell was not wearing a helmet.
Born on Oct. 30, 1967, he was the grandson of Henry Britton Watson Sr. of Kingstree. He was a director with FRS, a computer software company.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Britton Watson Jr. of Puntagorda, Fla.; his two brothers: Gregory Hinkle Watson of Englewood, Fla., and Henry Britton Watson III of Memphis, Tenn.; his two children: Jasper Lawton Watson age 11 and Caroline Cole Watson age 5.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the children's college fund may be sent to Cristie Mayor, (704) 753-9593.

Hudson Crummie -- Holly Hill
Mr. Hudson Crummie, 85, of 131 Fanshaw Court, Holly Hill, died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 in the Church of God, with the Rev. Carl Shaffer and Rev Jerry Lennen officiating. Burial will follow in the Scott Cemetery.
Mr. Crummie was born in Holly Hill, a son of the late Petigrew and Florence Crummie. He was retired from Holly Hill Lumber Company, and was founder and former chief of the Santee Indian Organization. He was a member of the Church of God, and was the widower of Edna Platt Crummie.
He was preceded in death by children Jewel, Ronnie and Hodge Crummie.
Survivors include his daughters, Judy Hughes and Cecelia Ardis, both of Holly Hill; sons, Floyd, Danny, and Stanley Crummie, all of Holly Hill, and Monroe Crummie of Santee; sister, Nettie Harbeson of Eutawville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 14 at Avinger Funeral Home of Holly Hill and at other times at the residence.
Mr. Fletcher Kearse Jr. -- North
Mr. Fletcher Kearse Jr., 70, of 302 Cromer Ave., North, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at Anderson Area Medical Center, Anderson.
Funeral plans will be announced by W. B. Crumel Funeral Home of North.
Friends may call at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Alene Kearse Colter of 306 Cromer Ave., North, and at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Marie Kornahrens Joye, 88, of Charlotte and former residence of Orangeburg, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Charlotte Square Retirement facility.
Stephen Andrew Lewis -- Fairfax
Stephen Andrew Lewis, 60, the husband of Barbara O'Bryant Lewis, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Select Specealty Hospital, after an extended illness.
Blanch Lyons Jr. -- Orangeburg
The funeral for Blanch Lyons Jr., 76, of 1738 Irvin St., Orangeburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2003, at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kay Adams Best officiating. Burial will be in Belleville Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ella Mitchell, 93, formerly of C302 Pecan Grove Apartments, Orangeburg, died Thursday, July 24, 2003, at Jolley Acres Healthcare Center, after a prolonged illness.

Earmine Elaine 'Tammy' Switzer -- Orangeburg
Funeral services for Earmine Elaine "Tammy" Switzer, 45, of 1755 Ellis Ave., will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at North Orangeburg United Methodist Church, Orangeburg, with the Rev. Eddie C. Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery (Ridgewood).
Ms. Switzer died Friday, Dec. 26, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1958, a daughter of Robert and Geraldine Switzer Jr.
Survivors include her parents; grandmother, three brothers, three sisters, six aunts, five uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at Bythewood Funeral Home of Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Switzer, 990 Redmon St., Orangeburg, and at the funeral home.
Mrs. Elizabeth Riley -- St. George
Mrs. Elizabeth Moultrie Riley of St. George, Hudsontown Community, died on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Summerville Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Good Hope Baptist Church, St. George.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1908.
Survivors include two daughters, Thelma (William) Windham, of St. George and Willie Catherine (Dixon) Gass, of Florence; three sons, Floyd (Mary Ann) Riley, Cornell Riley, of St. George, and Michael (Claretha) Riley, of Fayetteville, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Lewis, Lucille (Kenneth) Tracey, of Bronx, N.Y., Inez Stroud. of Detroit, Mich.; four brothers, Rev. Isaiah Moultrie (Eulah), Marion (Carrie) Moultrie, of Orangeburg, Moses (Alice) Moultrie, of Covington, Ga., John H. (Jessie), of South Ozone Park, N.Y.; devoted sister-in-law, Jannie L. Moultrie; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Brown and Son Funeral Home of St. George is in charge of the arrangements.
