Mrs. Ada Guinyard Johnson, 86, of 575 Stonewall Jackson Blvd., died Friday, March 17, 2006, at Laurel Baye Healthcare in Orangeburg, following an extended illness.
Funeral plans will be announced by Bethea’s Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Lula McDonald, 1393 Essex Drive, Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
Mrs. Maggie Robinson -- Columbia
Mrs. Maggie Robinson, 100, of 203 Pickwick Place, Columbia, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at the residence of her granddaughter following an extended illness.
Funeral plans will be announced by Jenkins Funeral Home of St. Matthews.
Friends may call at the residence of Hercules and Carolyn Robinson, 114 Little John Court, St. Matthews, and at the funeral home.
Eugene Shuler -- Cordova
Mr. Eugene Shuler, 80, of 114 Tatum Road, Cordova, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at his residence following a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Simmons Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Friends may call at the residence of his son, Harry Shuler, 114 Tatum Road, Cordova, and at the funeral home.
Walter M. Boltin Jr. -- Cayce
Walter M. Boltin Jr., 63, of Cayce died Thursday, March 23, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at Bethany Bible Church, 2841 Taylor Road, Cayce. Burial will be in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Boltin was the son of the late Walter M. Boltin Sr. and Pauline Bolen Boltin. He was a member of Bethany Bible Church and was owner of Boltin Welding and Erection Company. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Richard Boltin; an infant son, Travis Boltin; a sister, Dora Lorana Inabinet; and brother, Wallace Henry Boltin.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Rabon Boltin, of Cayce; sons, Timothy Wayne Boltin and Stacie, of Barre, Vt., Terry Walter Boltin and Lynn, of Gaston, James McQueen Boltin and Jennifer, of Gaston, Scotty Michael Medlin and Katrina, of Irmo, Senator Eric Boem, formerly Shannon Eric Medlin, of Cayce; daughters, Julie Anne Boltin Sweat and Henry, of Blackshear, Ga., Glenelle Elaine “Prissy” Boltin, of Cayce, Sandy Salley Jackson, of Orangeburg; sisters, Mabel Patricia “Pat” Loar and Eddie, of Forest City, N.C., Franklin “Fran” Ola Nischler and Roger, of Eutawville, Myra Junnette Wade and Bob, of Mesquite, Texas; a special sister and brother-in-law, Earl Jack and Irene Flippen, of Wagener; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the church.

Mrs. Rosa Lee Williams -- Orangeburg
Mrs. Rosa Lee Williams, 87, of 944 Log Cabin Lane, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at her residence after a brief illness.
Funeral plans will be announced by Glover’s Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Steven M. Hill
A visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this Friday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill with a funeral service to follow at 8:30. Burial, with military rites, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
Steven was born in Asheville, NC, a son a Rubye McBrayer Hill and the late Dewey Hill. He retired from the Navy having served during Desert Storm, and was currently a truck driver. Steven was vice president of the Eutawville Lions Club, and was commander of VFW Post 9509 in Moncks Corner. He was a marine mechanic, and was operator of the former Miracle Marine in Eutawville.
Surviving are his mother of Eutawville; and a brother, Terry (Kerri) Hill of Goose Creek.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to John M. (Mr. Mac) VFW Post 9509, 1141 S. Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
Tishia Robinson Grandy -- Orangeburg
Tishia Robinson Grandy, 83, of 568 Watersprings Road, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Calhoun Convalescent Center in St. Matthews.
Funeral plans will be announced by Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Howard L. Edwards
EUTAWVILLE - Howard Leroy Edwards, 82, of Eutawville, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at a North Charleston hospital.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Eutawville United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Lewis officiating Burial will be 3 p.m. at Jericho United Methodist Cemetery near Cameron.
Howard was born in Savannah, a son of the late Leroy Hazelton Edwards and Agnes Jackson Edwards. He was an Army veteran and retired as district manager from US Foods (formerly PYA). Howard enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and cooking. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Tony Edwards.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Felkel Edwards of Eutawville; sons, Chris (Michele) Edwards and Mark Leroy Edwards (David Smith), all of Goose Creek, and Kevin (Deanna) Edwards of Charleston; a brother, Leslie (Margaret) Edwards of Columbia; a sister, Olivia Ray of Lexington; grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Edwards, Tony (Brandi) Edwards, Steven (Melissa) Edwards, Ashleigh Edwards, Tiffany Edwards, and Kyle Edwards; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Brendon, Keaton, Peyton, Kendall, Eli, and Jaxon Edwards.
The family will receive friends after each service.

Ellen Annette Pound -- St. Matthews
Ellen Annette Ross Pound, 52, of St. Matthews, formerly of Columbia, wife of Richard Thomas Pound, died Thursday, March 16, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2006 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, West Columbia Stake, 1330 Whippoorwill Drive, West Columbia, officiated by President Ron Lofts. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pound was born in Columbia, a daughter of Herman Gregertsen and Melba Coral Cooper Ross. Mrs. Pound was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She graduated from Dreher High School and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical School of Nursing, and had worked in the newborn nursery at The Regional Medical Center for eight years. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and a friend to all.
Surviving are her husband of St. Matthews; daughter, Ginger Moore of Blythewood; son, Shawn Pound of St. Matthews; sister, Rebecca Ross of Columbia; brothers, Paul Ross of St. Matthews and Tim Ross of Spring, Texas; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
Memorials may be made to the Orangeburg Branch Missionary Fund, the American Cancer Society and Hospice of The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
James O. Crum -- ISLE OF PALMS
James Orrin Crum, husband of Candace Birdwell Crum, of Isle of Palms, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston.
He was born in Orangeburg, a son of Wesley Bowman Crum Sr. and Cleo Sansbury Crum. Mr. Crum was a graduate of Orangeburg High School and the University of South Carolina. He honorably served during the Vietnam era as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was a real estate developer in partnerships with Ned Pendarvis and Bud Mann. He was a member of Sigma Chi at USC and an avid Gamecock fan. Mr. Crum was devoted to his family and enjoyed golf, tennis, traveling and will be remembered for his good sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Candace B. Crum; a daughter, MacKenzie Lauren Crum of Isle of Palms; a brother, W. Bowman Crum Jr. and his wife Sheryl of Buford, Ga.; two nieces, Catherine C. Dixon of Buford, Ga., and Susan C. Rodriquez of Marietta, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston Inc. and Hope House at 3870 Leeds Ave., Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
