Robert Black Hutto, 90, of 724 Midway St., Bamberg, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Bamberg County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the Cooner Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Futrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bamberg County Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be James E. Darnell Jr., David A. Darnell, Jason Carter, Bobby Kemp, Warren Armstrong and Charles Bellamy.
Mr. Hutto was born May 28, 1915, in Bamberg, a son of the late William G. Hutto and the late Mary Lee Hutto. He was married to Margaret Pender Hutto. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bamberg.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Rebecca H. and James Darnell; one son, Robert B. Hutto Jr.; six grandchildren, June and Bobby Kemp, James and Beth Darnell, David and Hilary Darnell, Marie Darnell, Carol and Derek Clements, and Robyn and Jason Carter; great-grandchildren, Warren Armstrong, Samantha Armstrong, Maddie Kemp, Mason Darnell and Conner Darnell.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Cooner Funeral Home of Bamberg.

Gentry Mae Breaker -- ST. GEORGE
Gentry Mae Breaker, 79, of St. George died Monday, March 20, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in Good Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hudsontown Cemetery, conducted by Brown & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Breaker was born in Grover, a daughter of the late Mary and Gentry Daniels. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and was married to Freddie Breaker Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Breaker Sr. of the home; five children, Marilyn Brown (Clinton deceased) of Dorchester; Freddie Breaker (Carolyn) of St. George; Virgil Breaker (Mary) of Tampa, Fla., Betty Snelling (Donald) of Tampa, Fla. and David Breaker of St. George; five sisters, Mrs. Bernice Seaberry of New York, N.Y., Mrs. Angie Massard of Coca, Fla., Rosa Mae Jamison of Grover, Willie Mae Singletary of Tampa, Fla.; Annie Bell Mimmenger of Tampa, ; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mazie Hopkins -- St. Matthews
Mrs. Mazie Hopkins, 93, of 155 Merrybelle Lane, St. Matthews, died Sunday, November 12, 2006, at the home of her caregiver, Ms. Jannie Flood.
Funeral services will be announced by the Jenkins Funeral Home of St. Matthews.
Friends may visit or call the home of Mrs. Brenda H. Mosley, 254 Caw Caw Highway, St. Matthews.
Mrs. Gerline Aiken -- Branchville
Mrs. Gerline Aiken, of 260 Corner Road, Branchville, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at her residence following a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Owens Funeral Home of Branchville.

Brett Bush
FLORENCE - Gerald Brett Bush, 51, of Florence, passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Florence.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Martin officiating. Burial will be private.
Brett was born in Greenwood, a son of Lomie B. Adams and the late Charles W. Bush. He was a Navy veteran and a mechanic. Brett liked motorcycles and was preceded in death by a son, Charlie Bush II.
Surviving are his mother of Santee; daughters, Cristal Bush (Anthony Firestine) and Brittany Sweatman (Chris Moore) all of Florence; a brother, Ricky Bush of Holly Hill; and grandchildren, Ashlyn, Charlie Bradley, and Matthew, Jr.
The family will receive friends after the service at the church on Tuesday, and other times at the home of Leon and Jamie Dantzler.

Delta Ira Godwin Jr. -- Bowman
Delta Ira Godwin Jr., 89, formerly of Morrow St., Guntersville, Ala. died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at his residence, 1882 Landsdowne Road, Bowman, after a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Guntersville, Ala.
Mr. Godwin was born in 1917 in Lake City, the son of the late Delta Ira Godwin Sr. and Mariah Johnson Godwin. He was married to LaVerne DeLoach Godwin, formerly of North Charleston, and they celebrated their sixty-second wedding anniversary this year.
During World War II, Mr. Godwin worked on special task forces for the U.S. Government at Charleston Naval Shipyard and at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He later worked for the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) in the space program at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala. After his retirement from NASA, he and his wife moved to their home on Lake Guntersville, Ala. until illness required their move back to S.C. for medical care. He was under the care of Palmetto Hospice.
Mr. Godwin enjoyed his long friendship with the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Guntersville.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll L. Godwin of Charleston, Richard A. “Dick” Godwin of Sumter and Clarence E. “Dink” Godwin of Concord, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne of the home; a son, Delta Ira Godwin III and his wife, Mary; grandson, Delta Ira Godwin IV and his wife, Jessica; great-grandson, Delta Ira Godwin V, all of Huntsville, Ala.; a sister, Gertrude Godwin Miles, of Florence; and extended family members in South Carolina including a sister-in-law, Ruth Anne DeLoach Ellis of Bowman with whom he had a loving father-daughter relationship.
Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Guntersville, Alabama or Orangeburg, SC.
Rev. Gabriel Bowman Jr., BRANCHVILLE
Rev. Gabriel Bowman Jr., 95, of 5676 Freedom Road, Branchville, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg after a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Glover’s Funeral Home.

VANCE - Ronald J. Lucas, 74, husband of Jacklyn Lucas, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in a Columbia hospital.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at The Historic Church of the Epiphany.
Andrew Louis Dantzler -- ORANGEBURG
The funeral for Andrew Louis Dantzler, 81, of 207 Tradewinds St., Orangeburg, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2006 at Four Holes Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tom McElhaney and the Rev. Curtis Lee Felkel Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Active pallbearers will be Kevin Brownlee, Darrell Bagwell, Delbert Inabinet, Rogers Harrell, Nate Carlisle, Daniel Dantzler, Edward Earley and Bert Bozard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Hinkle Sunday School Class and the Deacons of Four Holes Baptist Church.
Mr. Dantzler died Saturday, November 18, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
He was born May 8, 1925, in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Darius Louis Dantzler and Lula Ayers Dantzler. He was a member of Four Holes Baptist Church, a member of the Kenneth Hinkle Sunday School Class, and a past Deacon. He was retired from Butler Implements with 47 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Carrigg Dantzler and sister, Mary Earley.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew David (Andy) and Doris Dantzler, and John Robert (Johnnie) and Dot Dantzler, both of Orangeburg, William Terrell (Terry) and Maggie Dantzler of Cameron and James Daniel (Danny) and Shirley Dantzler of Peytona, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas L. Dantzler and James A. (Jimmy) Dantzler, both of Orangeburg and Robert L. Dantzler of Cameron.
Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew David Dantzler, 152 Tradewinds St., Orangeburg, and at Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
Memorials may be made to Four Holes Baptist Church, for Harvest Day, 1622 Four Holes Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
