She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Walterboro Chapter #147, Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the Milcah Temple #77, Daughters of the Nile. She was a member and treasurer of the South Carolina Elected Officials Association, a member of the South Carolina Association of Accessing Officials, a member of the Colleton County Taxpayers Association, member of South Carolina State Employees Association, and a Commissioner with Lowcountry Regional Airport.Surviving are, her husband, George H.
