Interment will be in Berea United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, until 1:00 p.m. and then at the church from 2:00 until the hour of service.
PHILLIPS, Maggie
The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Phillips of Hwy. 402, Moncks Corner, S.C., are invited to attend the funeral services for the latter, 2:00 p.m. this Sunday afternoon in the Santee Circle Community Church. FOXWORTH, John
HEMINGWAY - John H. Foxworth, 71, a retired power house operator with International Paper, died Friday, October 12, 2001, in a Charleston hospital.Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15, 2001, at 11 a.m., in Center Baptist Church in Upper Georgetown County. Officiating will be Dr. Rick Henderson and Rev. Robbie Martin. Burial, directed by GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME OF GEORGETOWN, will follow in the church cemetery.He was born April 11, 1930, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Lawrence Chesley Foxworth and Helen Alice Davis Foxworth.Mr. Foxworth retired from International Paper in 1993 with 40 years of service. He had lived most of his life in Georgetown and after retiring moved to the Folly Grove Community where he enjoyed his farm. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club with International Paper. He was a member of Center Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.Surviving are, his wife, Wilma T. Foxworth; two sons, Keith R. Foxworth, and his wife, Rebecca of Florence and Dexter Foxworth and his wife, Jo Anne of Georgetown; one daughter, Lisa F. Beam and her husband, Chuck, of Mooresville, N.C.; two brothers, Cecil Foxworth of Pawleys Island and L.C. Foxworth of Georgetown; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Center Baptist Church Building Fund, 1864 Folly Grove Road, Hemingway, S.C. 29554, or Folly Grove Community Center, 1267 Ray Road, Hemingway, S.C. 29554.

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Friday, October 12, 2001, Sue Hadaway Paul, wife of John Robertson Paul, Jr., M.D. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends of Dr. and Mrs. John Robertson Paul, Jr., are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter in First (Scots) Presbyterian Church on Monday, October 15, 2001, at 4 o'clock. Burial will be private. Friends and family may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, this Sunday between 5 and 7 o'clock.Mrs. Paul was born in LaGrange, Ga., on November 26, 1922, the daughter of William Hugh Hadaway, M.D., and Martha Cleveland Hadaway. She attended Converse College and graduated from the University of Georgia. She majored in music and sang soprano. Mrs. Paul was a member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, Junior League of Charleston, Ivy Garden Club, Albamarle Super Club, the "Lunch Bunch," and she was a volunteer with Hospital Ship Hope in Sri Lanka and Jamaica.She is survived by her husband of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Hugh H. Paul and John Robertson Paul, III, both of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Susan Paul Firestone of New York and Anne Paul Majak of Wellington, Fla.; six grandchildren, Mary C. Firestone and Lucy D. Firestone, Carl R. Wilander, J. Paul Wilander, Anne Drummond Paul, and Christen S. Majak; two sisters, Ann H. Greer of Owensboro, Ky., and Virginia Lancaster of LaGrange, Ga.Memorials may be made to the Coastal Center, 9995 Miles Jamison Road, Ladson, S.C. 29456, or to the John Ancrum Society (SPCA), 3861 Leeds Ave., North Charleston, S.C. 29405.
LASKOVITCH, John
John Laskovitch, 76, widower of Mary Andriote Laskovitch of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., died October 13, 2001, at his residence. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 16, 2001, in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 3 o'clock. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens with full military honors.Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, Monday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 o'clock.Mr. Laskovitch was born in Montville, Conn., a son of Ignatz and Matruna Laskovitch. He was married to Mary A. Laskovitch for 50 years and two months before she passed away on June 29, 1999. Mr. Laskovitch retired from the U.S. Marine Corp as a Gunnery Sergeant in 1963. He was a Veteran of World War II serving under General Mark Clark during the invasion of Italy. He also served during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart. He was a Russian Orthodox and faithful parishioner at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and a member of East Cooper Outboard Motor Club.Surviving are his daughters, JoAnn Duncan of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Kathy Neary of Awendaw, S.C., his sisters, Helen Vucelich of Shadyside, Ohio, and Olga Rosso of Torrington, Conn., and his grandchildren, Lindsay Duncan, Kelly Bridges and Michael Bridges.
LINDFORS, John
A funeral liturgy was held Saturday, October 13, 2001, for Mr. John A. Lindfors. Arrangements were made by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.Mr. Lindfors was born in Columbia, S.C., the son of Frank M. Lindfors, Sr., and Marie Kathleen Holland Lindfors. He was a retired marine machinist with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mr. Lindfors was a Mason and a member of the Knights of Columbus.Surviving are his wife, Bertha "Bee" Ory Lindfors of Yonges Island; his daughter, Mrs. Marie Peikert of Riverside, Calif.; one son, Christopher Lindfors of Charleston, S.C.; his daughters, Ms. Victoria Lindfors of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; Ms. Elizabeth Lindfors of North Charleston, S.C., and Mrs. Margaret Berg of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Angela Lindfors Reese of Herndon, Va., and three grandchildren.

Lt. Col. Richard P. Reeves (USAF Ret.) ''Dickie'' passed away on June 19, 2001 in Tampa, Fl. and was interred at the U. S. Military Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. In his memory a monument has been erected at Ravenel Methodist Churchyard; it will be dedicated Sunday, October 14, 2001, at 2 p.m. All relatives and friends are invited to attend. Col. Reeves was born in Charleston, SC, March 5, 1935, the son of Allen N. and Thelma Godfrey Reeves. He grew up in Ravenel, and graduated from St. Paul's High School and Clemson College.

He is the beloved father of Mrs. Marie Legare; grandfather of Mrs. Yvonne Drayton (Harold), Mr. Bobby Holmes (Rose), Mr. Jimmy Legare, Mr. John Legare (Fran), Mrs. Mary Peay (English) and Ms. Jacqueline Legare; special grandfather of Lena Haines. MILLER, Bonita
Bonita Anne "Bonnie" Miller, a devout Christian, beloved mother, and dedicated school teacher, became one of heaven's angels on the morning of October 14, 2001, after an extended illness. Residence: North Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Bonita Anne Miller are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL this (Monday) afternoon, October 15, 2001 at 4:00 o'clock. Interment: Plantation Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the residence immediately after the committal service at the cemetery.
Miss Miller was born on September 30, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Charles R. "Bucky" Miller, II and Annette Martak Miller Moore. A graduate of Seton High School and St. Joseph College in Maryland, she received her Masters Degree from the College of Charleston. Before retiring from the Berkeley County Schools, this past August, Miss Miller had dedicated her professional life to teaching in numerous elementary schools for thirty-seven years. She most recently taught at College Park Elementary School. In order to help her students understand her illness, she wrote a book entitled "My Teacher Has Cancer."
Surviving are her two daughters, Jacqueline A. Miller and Linda Louise Miller both of North Charleston, South Carolina; two brothers, Larry Miller and Bonnie of Atlanta, Georgia and Randy Miller and Judy of Columbia, South Carolina; step-father, James Logan Moore of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cherished pets, Holly (dog), Grady (cat) and Kelly (cat).

MAGER, Steven
Steven Wayne Mager, 40, of North Charleston, died Sunday, October 14, in a local hospital. He was born in Charleston to Gordon Lee Mager, Sr., and the late Cecelia Margaret Mott Mager. Steven was a 1981 graduate of Trident Technical College, and was presently employed with Centex Home Builders, where he had recently received the Centex Homes Builder Award. Steven took much pride in his work and family. He will be best remembered as being a great father and husband. His wife, Dana Renee Mager, Andrew Garrison Mager, and Joshua Ryan Mager, all of the home, three brothers, Gordon Lee Mager, Jr., and wife Claudia of Seymour, Ind., Mark Anthony Mager of Charleston, Randy Allen Mager and wife Kathleen of Goose Creek, a brother-in-law, Andre Lyskin and wife Lana of Camarillo, Calif., sister-in-law, Lora Hucks of Charleston, his father, Gordon Lee Mager, Sr., of Charleston, father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Larna Hucks of Charlesotn, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and many friends all survive him. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, at St. Michaels Episcopal Church, Charleston. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Leukemia Society of America, P.O.
