HOLT, Catherine
Mrs. Catherine "Polly" Holt of Walterboro died Sunday at the Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holt was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late John Godfrey Adams and Sarah C. Thomas Adams. She was a retired nurse and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was first married to the late Ernest Patrick and then to the late Henry Ellis Holt.
Surviving are three sons, Donald E. Holt of Albemarle, North Carolina, Douglas H. Holt of Durham, North Carolina and Ernest Patrick of Las Animas, Colorado; a sister, Rebecca Koger of Round O; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Jean Patrick.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.

Chief Master Sergeant Edward William Healey, USAF (Ret.), 66, of North Charleston, widower of Katie Stevens Healey died Sunday at his residence.
Graveside service will be held this morning at 10 o'clock in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.
Born on November 20, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late John Thomas Healey and Agnes Taylor Healey.
He attended schools of New York. He retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of service. After retiring from the Air Force, he retired fro the 437th Maintenance Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base as a Flight Line Mechanic.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen J. Healy of North Charleston, Teresa M. Wheat of Round O, Jean A. Healey of Round O; two sons, James D. Healey of North Charleston, Daniel S. Healey of North Charleston; one sister, Anne Pestinger of Newfane, NY; two brothers, Dennis Healey of North Charleston, Peter Healey of NY; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

EUTAWVILLE - Mrs. Mamie Barnhill King, 77, of Rocks Pond Campground, Eutawville, died Tuesday in an Orangeburg hospital.
