MOCK, Rudolph
EARLY BRANCH - Mr. Rudolph Mock, 76, of 12342 Yemassee Highway, Early Branch, died early Friday morning in a Beaufort hospital.
Mr. Mock was born in Jasper County, August 2, 1925, a son of the late John David and Eva Smith Mock. He had retired from the Maintenance Dept. at Property Administrators on Hilton Head Island, and was a member and Deacon of the Ridgeville Baptist Church.
Surviving are, his wife, Virginia Fabian Mock of Early Branch; son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Kaitlyn Mock of Early Branch; one brother, Jessie Mock of Ridgeland; and one sister, Lois Breland of Grays. There is one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Sunday, in the Chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME IN HAMPTON, with burial in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Early Branch.
The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the Palmetto Health Hospice, 100 McGee St., Bamberg, S.C. 29003, or the Ridgeville Baptist Church, Ridge-Cut Road, Yemasee, S.C. 29945.

RUFFIN - Mr. Charlie Edward Till, 74, a retired oil jobber in Orangeburg, died Friday at a Columbia hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the graveside in William Cemetery, Williams, S.C. conducted by Rev. Louis Bearden and Rev. Mel Wright, and directed by the Fred Parker Funeral Home of Walterboro, S.C.
Mr. Till was born Sept. 10, 1927 in Ruffin, S.C., a son of the late John W. Till and Mamie Carter Till. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church in Williams. He was also a member of Amaranth, Bells Lodge #237 A.F.M., Scottish Rite, the American Legion, IPTAY and the Kiwanis Club and Elks Club in Orangeburg. He was a graduate of Clemson College, Class of 1950. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Surviving are: a step-son, Robert O. Hoffman of Summerville, two daughters, Sandra Collins of Summerville and Mary Ruth Rish of Columbia, four step-grandchildren and a step- great-grandchild.

Bobbi Ruth Koniuszy, 67, wife of Joseph T. Koniuszy, died on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 13, 2001 after a lingering illness. Private services have been arranged at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.
Mrs. Koniuszy was born December 29, 1933 in Chavies, Kentucky, the daughter of Monas and Edna Holmes Bowling. A homemaker, she had lived in Oklahoma City, Okla. for many years before moving to Charleston to be closer to her daughter and son-in-law.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Anna Louise and Kenneth Delaney of Charleston, her two sisters, Glenna (Harold) Potts of Rydel, Ga.; Ruby Hall of Austin, Ind.; her six brothers, Gary D. (Sharon) Bowling of Wichata Falls, Tex., Larry Bowling, of Scottsburg, Ind., Robert D. (Dannie) Bowling of Oklahoma City, Okla., George A. (Pauline) Bowling of Hickman, Ky., John H. (Phyllis) Bowling of Scottsburg, Ind., and Jack T. Bowling of Hobart, Ind. She is also survived by 42 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She will be missed by her constant companion, Babushka.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Warren, Henry, and William Bowling.

Josephine Senia Gurrieri, 93, formerly of Charleston and widow of John Gurrieri, died Thursday, December 13, 2001 in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Gurrieri was born Thursday, May 21, 1908 in Vittoria, Sicily the daughter of Emmanuel and Concetta Neri Senia. She was a designer of ladies apparel and the owner of New Paris Apparel in New Paltz, NY. Mrs. Gurrieri was predeceased in death by her husband and a brother of Vittoria. Surviving are two sons, John B. Gurrieri and his wife, Marie of San Antonio, TX., Richard E. Gurrieri and his wife, Ann of Parker, CO., three grandsons, Richard E. Gurrieri, Jr. of East Point, Ga., John B. Gurrieri, II of Charleston, SC and Anthony M. Gurrieri of Vance AFB, Okla., one great-granddaughter, Mary Love Gurrieri; three step-grandchildren, Ann Marie Sowell of Canyon Lake, Tex., Tricia Daigle of San Antonio, Tex., and Peter McNamee of Oakland, Calif.; two step-great-grandsons, D.J. COLEMAN, Robert
Robert Legare' Coleman, 92, a lifelong resident of Mount Pleasant died on the evening of Wednesday, December 12, 2001. The relatives and friends of Robert Legare' Coleman are invited to attend his funeral service Sunday, December 16, 2001 in Heritage Presbyterian Church, 2125 Highway 17 North, Mt. Mr. Coleman was the son of Samuel Legare' Coleman and Mary Lucas Clute Coleman. In the 1930's, he worked at the former Army Exchange Service during WWII, he served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Veterinary Service at Ft. Moultrie on Sullivan's Island. After the war, he operated Coleman Hardware for twenty years. He later retired as supervisor of maintenance from the C & S National Bank of South Carolina in downtown Charleston. After his retirement, he was a courier for Pitt Street Pharmacy delivering prescriptions to Mt. Pleasant residents until he was 89 years of age. He was a life member of Etiwan Lodge No.95 and a fifty-year member of the Scottish Rite. He was the eldest member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia M. (Steven) Anderson of Chesapeake, Va., Mary Elizabeth (Barry M.) Coleman-Socia and Ann Croft Coleman (Paddy) Fosberry of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Coleman was "Gramps" to ten grandchildren, Elizabeth S. Anderson, Katherine H. Anderson, and Benjamin C. Anderson of Chesapeake, Va., R. Lucas Coleman-Socia, Isabel F. Socia, Madeline E. Socia, George E. Socia, Joseph L. Fosberry, Margaret C. Fosberry and W. Patrick Fosberry, all of Mt. Pleasant also survive.
He is also survived by his beloved sister, Rosalie Wilmont Donaldson of Mt. Pleasant and a number of nieces and nephews.

THORNAL , Richard
Captain Richard Allen Thornal, 62, of Stuart Florida, died on Friday, December 7, 2001, in Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.
A native of Charleston, S. C., he graduated from St. Andrew's High School and Kings Point, The Merchant Marine Academy. After serving two years in the Navy as Lt. jg., he sailed on merchant ships for 16 years. His last ship as captain was the Sea Land Consumer. In 1977 he joined the Biscayne Bay Pilots Association as a harbor pilot in the port of Miami, where he remained for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Judie Harrell Thornal of Stuart; his two daughters, Donna Thornal and husband Steve Byrom of Singapore and Alison Thornal Santiago and husband Dwight of Coral Gables, Florida; and his four grandchildren, Philippa and Nicola Byrom and Emerson and Andrew Santiago.
He is also survived by his brother James Thornal of James Island, S.C.

Deborah Kaye Neville Rogers, 50, died Saturday, December 15, 2001, at her home in Charlotte, N.C."Debbie Kaye," who was born March 8, 1951, in Mooresville, N.C., was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School and lived 15 years in Folly Beach, S.C., before returning to Charlotte in 1995.Seven years ago, Mrs. Rogers was diagnosed with ALS; however, she never lost her zest for life nor her desire to look her best. Throughout her illness, she remained selfless. Her greatest joys were buying gifts for people she loved and being a devoted Elvis fan. Robert Earl Moore, III, 39, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., died Thursday, December 13, 2001, in Awendaw, S.C.Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 18, 2001, at 2 p.m., in St. Andrews A.M.E. Church. Interment in Morning Glory Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Myers will officiate.Born April 1, 1962, Mr. Moore was the son of Barbara Huey Moore and the late Robert E. Moore, Jr. He served six years in the U.S. Navy and was a member of St. Andrews A.M.E. Church. He was an employee for Parker-Hanniford Aeronautics, Co.Survivors include, his wife, Brenda Gale Brodus Moore; two daughters, Ambera and Whitney Moore of Mt. ELLOREE - David Artie Felkel, Jr., 82, a native of Elloree, S.C., died at a local hospital, Friday, December 15, 2001. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 16, 2001, 3 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church of Elloree. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Richard Albert will officiate.Mr. Felkel was the son of the late David Artie and Willa Zeigler Felkel. He was a veteran of W.W.II and served in the Pacific Theater. He was a retired agent with Life of Georgia with 37 years of service. Mr. Felkel was born in Elloree, S.C., August 10, 1919.Mr. Felkel was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Elloree, secretary and treasurer of the Sunday school for over 40 years, member of the church choir and unofficial sexton.Survivors include, his wife, Ethelyn Fogle Felkel of the home, one son, David A. Felkel, III, and wife Nancy of Elloree, S.C.; granddaughter, Angie R. Felkel, U.S.C.; grandson, Thomas D. Felkel, Elloree; two sisters, Lena F. Pipkin, Jamestown, S.C., Blanche F. Stoudenmire, Lone Star, S.C. Pallbearers will be John D.
