Anne King Moye, 68, retired Director of Volunteers for American Red Cross died Friday, December 28, 2001 in a local hospital. The relatives and friends of Anne King Moye are invited to attend her funeral services Tuesday, January 1, 2002 in the Church of The Holy Cross, Sullivan's Island, S.C. at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Moye was born in Charleston, S.C., a daughter of Roy M. and Catherine C. King.
She served as Director of Volunteers for the American Red Cross for 28 years.
She was a graduate of Rivers High School and a 1979 graduate of Charleston Southern University.
She is survived by one son, John H. Moye, Jr. and his wife, Tandy of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., one daughter, Anne M. and her husband Kenneth W. Kinlaw of Asheville, N.C., two sisters, Joyce Pulkinen and Elizabeth Ohlandt, both of Charleston, S.C., six grandchildren, Richard C. Robinson, Jr., Tiffany Moye Cameron, John H. Moye, III, Catherine E. Moye, Michael C. Kinlaw, and Hunter M. Kinlaw, one great-grandchild, Caitlyn Grace Cameron. Mrs. Moye was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Markley Moye.

Nancy Ann Moore Gardner, 73, of 5968 Moorefield Memorial Highway, wife of the late O'Dell Duckett Gardner, died Thursday, December 27, 2001, at her home.
Born in Columbia, a daughter of the late General and Mrs. John Foster Moore, Mrs. Gardner was a graduate of Coker College, and retired from the Pickens County Department of Social Services after more than thirty years of service. She was a volunteer with Cannon Memorial Hospital, and was of the Methodist Faith.
Surviving are five sons, Wesley D. Gardner of Niceville, Florida, Blake R. Gardner of Anderson, Kent F. Gardner of Mt. Pleasant, Alan B. Gardner of Clemson, and Stacey Q. Gardner of Pumpkintown; a brother, John Paul Moore of Monroe, Louisiana; and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4:00PM Sunday in the chapel of ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, Easley, with Rev. Zane Talley officiating.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00PM Sunday, an hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Seltzer Theresa Ann, 38, of Goose Creek died Thursday December 27, 2001 at a local hospital. Born July 3, 1963 in Oswego, New York she was the daughter of John F. and Ella Shatraw (nee Baker). Mrs. Seltzer was a graduate of Mansfield Business College and was a certified nursing assistant. She was employed as a housekeeper at Cathedral of Praise. She enjoyed bowling and golfing. Mrs. Seltzer is survived by her husband Leslie W. She is survived by her husband of James Island; two daughters: Sheila P. Niemeyer and her husband Tony of Pawleys Island and Diane P. Murray and her husband David of Charleston; two sons: Raymond J. Patterson, Jr. and his wife Darcy of James Island and Russell J. Patterson and his wife Anne of James Island; two sisters: Barbara S. Brown of Charleston and Madeline S. Deacon Roper was a member of the First Baptist Church of James Island and a Mason. He enjoyed singing, dancing, music, travel, antiqueing and refinishing furniture.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Gail E. Roper, of Charleston and Tilda Marie R. Siler of North Charleston; two sons, Henry Roper, Jr., and his wife, Monica and Harry M. Roper and his wife, Robin both of Charleston; one brother, Joseph Roper of James Island; three grandsons and two granddaughters.

Dr. McElveen, husband of the late Barbara Talbert McElveen died Thursday, December 27, 2001. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Lula Habenicht McElveen. An Army veteran of WWII, he served in both European and Pacific theaters. He was a graduated of Clemson University and the University of Georgia Veterinary School and also attended the University of South Carolina. For many years, he owned and operated McElveen Animal Hospital.
Dr. McElveen was a member of St. Martin's in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, Downtown Kiwanis Club, the St. Andrews Society, SCVMA and AVMA.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Carl D. "Bosie" and Lee G. McElveen, Jr. of Columbia and S. Watson and Kim McElveen of Mt. Pleasant; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara M. and Tom Bryan of Columbia and Caroline M. "Base" and Richard H. Linda G. Glover, 52, of Charleston died Thursday, December 27, 2001 at a local hospital. She was a graduate of St. Andrews High School and attended Trident Technical College. She was born in Newport R.I. to the late Gene Gabrielli and Cecelia Guyton Gabrielli Clark. She was a longtime resident of Charleston, South Carolina and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Mrs. Glover was a woman of many talents and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, James R. Glover, two daughters, Melody Clark and Holly Glover, both of Charleston, S. C., grandchildren, Christian Clark and Emily Clark of Charleston, S. C., two brothers, David Gabrielli of Summerville and Chris Gabrielli of Charleston; sisters Carolyn Wright of Mt. Pleasant, Marilyn Lowndes of Charleston, and Cheryl English of John's Island. She is also survived by her step- father Tommy Clark of Charleston and step-mother Betty Gabrielli of Summerville. Funeral services will be held today at 2 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Nellie P. Chapman, 93, formerly of Charlotte, N. C. and Moncks Corner, S. C. died Wednesday, December 26, 2001 at Royal Oaks Residential Care, Summerville, S. C.
She was born April 20, 1908 in Lincoln County, N. C., a daughter of the late William Robinson Price and Emma Jane Killian Price. Mrs. Chapman was the wife of the late J. Ivey Chapman. A longtime resident of Charlotte, she had resided in Moncks Corner, S. C. since 1990. She was member Grace Alliance Church in North Charleston, S. C. and a former member of Calvary Church in Charlotte.
Funeral services were at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2001 in the Harry and Bryant Chapel, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte with The Reverend C. G. Ingram officiating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, James E. Chapman and his wife, Lois, of Moncks Corner, S. C. and Marshall G. Chapman and his wife, Charlene, of Charlotte; three sisters, Evelyn Yarborough, of Gaffney, S. C., Ava Saunders, of Wingate, N.C., and Willie Ruth Shumate, of Flaglers Beach, FL.; 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.
