RIDGEVILLE - Mrs. Annie Crosby Lemacks, 81, of 1576 Old Beech Hill Road died Thursday at Summerville Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Glendale Memorial Cemetery with Dr. E. Donald Bowick officiating and directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lemacks was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Ernest Crosby and Mary K. Mims Crosby. She was a retired organizer with the L.L.G.W.U. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ravenel.
Surviving are her husband, Lawton S. Lemacks, a daughter, Ann Marie Lemacks of Ridgeville, a son, Edward R. Lemacks of Columbia, two stepsons, Buddy Lemacks of Ravenel and Laverne Lemacks of Charleston, a stepdaughter, Nettie Patrick of Hollywood, two sisters, Erlene Stokes of Cottageville and Eva Sires of Adams Run, a brother, David Crosby of Walterboro, 6 step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by six brothers.

HARDY, Eloise
GREEN POND - Eloise Hardy, 89, widow of Eddie Hardy, died Wednesday in a Beaufort Nursing Center.
The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2002, in Jerusalem A.M.E. Church, White Hall. Burial will be in Pyne Cemetery. The remains will be placed in the church one hour before service for viewing.
Mrs. Hardy was born in Green Pond, S.C. and was the daughter of the late Florence Singletary Britten and William Singletary. She completed her education in the public schools of Colleton County.
She was a member of Jerusalem A.M.E. Church and was a member of the Missionary Society, Class No. 5 and the Senior Choir.
Surviving are: one sister, Katie Lee Britten of Bronx, N.Y.

ANDERSON - Betty Hall Byrum, 85, formerly of Highway 29 North, died Thursday, January 3, 2002, at NHC Healthcare of Anderson.
Born in Anderson, she was a retired Receptionist with Anderson Memorial Hospital, and was a member of Eureka Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Reuben Joe Byrum, Jr. of Charleston; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of Reuben Joe Byrum, and the daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha Chamblee Hall. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dwayne Byrum, and by two brothers, Bill Hall and Fred Hall; and by five sisters, Bertha West, Elise Hall, Ethel Ridgon, Kathleen Bolt, and Lois Burns.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Dickard. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The body is at the Northeast Chapel, 3205 North Highway 81, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Dean Leslie Seedorff, 57, of Goose Creek, S.C., husband of Diana Moore Seedorff, died January 4, 2002 at a local hospital.

Mr. Seedorff was born August 9, 1944, in Oelwein, Iowa, a son of Leslie Seedorff and Genevieve Thompson Seedorff. He was a Regional Sales Manager and a member of the National Guard.

Margaret A. Walker of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., died at her residence on January 2, 2002. Mrs. Walker was born October 22, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Walker of Mt. Pleasant, two daughters, Kathleen McDougald of Fort Bragg, N.C., and Emily Walker of Norwich, Vt., one son, Daniel Walker of Berkeley, Calif., three sisters in Ohio, and one brother in West Virginia. A graduate of the Medical University of S.C., she was a long-time employee of MUSC Hospital Laboratory Services.

Frederica Wienberg Kronsberg, widow of Milton W. Kronsberg, died January 3, 2002. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services, Sunday, at 1:30 p.m. in the Synagogue Emanu-El. Interment, Emanu-El Cemetery, "Maryville."
She was born December 6, 1910, in Staunton, Va., the daughter of Abraham and Johanna Barth Weinberg. Mrs. Kronsberg attended Mary Baldwin College and Goucher College from which she graduated in 1933. Although, predominantly a homemaker, Mrs. Kronsberg was an active participant and volunteer in many organizations. She was a founding and current member of Synagogue Emanu-El Sisterhood, regional vice-president of Women's League for Conservative Judaism, past Women's Division Chairman of the Charleston Jewish Federation, a long time and founding member of the Charleston Exchange Club Auxiliary, a member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Temple, Hadassah, and Council of Jewish Women. Mrs. Kronsberg was a volunteer for the heart fund and cancer society, and for 20 years was a volunteer for the heart fund and cancer society, and for 20 years was a volunteer librarian at Emanu-El Synagogue. She also was a tutor for refugees studying to become citizens of the United States after World War II.
Mrs. Kronsberg is survived by a son, Abram J. Kronsberg of Baltimore, Md., and his wife, Robin, Regina K. Shapiro of Atlanta, Ga., and her husband Sam, and Mickey K. Rosenblum and her husband, Jeffrey of Charleston, S.C., seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
