FISHER, Patricia
Patricia Johnson Fisher of Isle of Palms, S.C., died Tuesday, February 12, 2002, in Wilmington, N.C.
She was born on March 23, 1922, in St. Paul, Minn., daughter of the late Joseph T. and Margaret Williams Duncan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Johnson.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of Sunrise Presbyterian Church in Sullivan's Island, S.C. She resided in West Hartford, Conn., until 1984, when she retired to Isle of Palms, S.C. As well as being a registered nurse, Mrs. Fisher was always involved with many community and charitable organizations. She will be remembered as a friend to all.
Surviving are one son, Robert D. Johnson; two daughters, Barbara J. Britton and Susan Ritchie; and eight loving grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.

Wilford Granville Radcliff, 56, of Summerville, died Friday morning in a Charleston hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 15, 2002 at 4 o'clock in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Summerville. Burial will be held at a later date in Saratoga Cemetery in Morris, Illinois.

Mr. Radcliff was born on September 15, 1945 in Morris, Illinois, a son of the late Benjamin Franklin Radcliff and Mary Erleen Love Radcliff.
Mr. Radcliff was a graduate of Morris Community High School, Morris, Illinois and Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Illinois. He was a retired Accountant and organist with Holy Faith Episcopal Church, Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Summerville.
Surviving are four sisters, Nylietta Rosenfeld of Sycamore, Illinois, Judy Petty of White Pine, Michigan, Naomi Radcliff of Summerville, and Maureen Overton of Channahan, Illinois; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Franklin Radcliff.

CHAMBERLAIN, Edward
Edward B. Chamberlain of Hubbard, age 81, died Monday, February 11th, 2002. Memorial Services will be Saturday, February 16, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Woodburn. Interment will be private.
Born at Charleston, SC, a retired assistant Regional Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, son of E. Burnham and Margaret Chamberlain. Graduate of The High School of Charleston, 1942 graduate of College of Charleston, Masters degree in game mgmt. from The Virginia Poly Technic Institute. He began his career as Wildlife biologist with the Florida Fresh Water Fish and Game Commission in 1948. In 1958 he joined the Fish and Wildlife Service, serving in the Atlanta Region, when he was Chief of the Federal Aid Office. He was transferred to the Portland Region in 1976 and retired in 1987. He lived in Lake Oswego, OR, then moving to Hubbard after his retirement.
During WWII he was employed as a civilian inspector at the Army Ordinance Depot at Charleston, then served with an Army bomb disposal squad in Europe. He was a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Woodburn, where he was Senior Warden and Treasurer. He enjoyed furniture refinishing, bird watching, hiking and gardening. He received 3 bronze service stars, and served as Master Sergeant for the 159th Ordinance Bomb Disposal Squadron.
Survivors are: wife, Kenner Chamberlain, of Portland, son, E. Burnham Chamberlain, III of Estacada, daughter, Margaret Korges of Bethlehem, Ga, brother, William Chamberlain of Charleston, SC, and 2 grandchildren.

John Paul Barker, 76, of Goose Creek, born June 19, 1925 in Thornton, Arkansas, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed into eternal rest on February 15, 2002 at a local hospital. Mr. Barker leaves behind his wife, Regine N. Barker; his daughter and son-in-law, Elaine B. and Bill Meuli of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Catherine, Gregory, and Michael Meuli. He is also survived by one brother and five sisters; Rev. Trozy Barker of Fortworth, Texas, Pauline Donahue of League City, Texas, Fay Ford of North Little Rock, Ark., Betty Sue Roberts of El Dorado, Ark., Norma Jean Rogers of Sherwood, Ark., and Frances Barker of Smackover, Ark.Mr. Barker served 22 years as a storekeeper, Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. His Military service ranged from the Pacific Fleet in World War II to the European Theatre from 1947 on up. After retiring from the U.S. Navy, Mr. Barker worked at Avco Lycoming, Daniel Construction, and Milcom Systems Corporation.Mr. Barker served as a deacon at Deer Park Baptist Church and volunteered in the Lutheran Soup Kitchen in North Charleston. He also was an active member of The Berkeley County Republican Party.A Memorial Service will be held at Deer Park Baptist Church on Monday, February 18, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Bill Blanton will officiate the service.Mr. Barker is fondly remembered, deeply loved, and respected by both family and friends. Mrs. Reba Louise Mole Atkinson, 83, died early Friday morning in the Pine Oak Nursing Home in Flowery Branch, Ga., after an extended illness.Mrs. Atkinson was born in Hampton County, June 15, 1918, a daughter of the late David Cameron Mole and Bessie Mae Priester Mole. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Sandy Run Baptist Church and attended the Higher Ground Christian Church near Hampton.Surviving are, her husband, Bennie E. Atkinson of Flowery Branch, Ga.; two sons, Bennie E. Atkinson, Jr., and Don Atkinson, both of Flowery Branch, Ga.; three brothers, William Mole and Roy Mole both of Hampton, and Herbert E. Mole of El Paso, Texas; and one sister, Bessie Bibeau of Hampton. Ronald Alan Hopkins, 38, of Hanahan, died Saturday, February 16, 2002.

Born June 12, 1963 in Greenville, Mississippi, he was a son of Eddie Hopkins and Dorothy Graham Franks. Mr. Hopkins was a self employed dock sea wall builder.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Dean Hopkins; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Hopkins and Heather Ann Hopkins of Hanahan; a son, Brandon Lee Hopkins of Hanahan; his father, Eddie Hopkins and stepmother Virginia Hopkins of Kentucky; his mother Dorothy Franks and stepfather Len Franks of Hanahan; a sister, Sandra Brooks of Hanahan.
