MYERS, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Hindman Myers, 63, of Pinopolis, a retired nursing instructor where she taught at the Baptist College and Trident Technical College, died Saturday at her residence after an extended illness.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Burial will be in St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was born July 5, 1938 in Cross Anchor, S.C., a daughter of Carl and Grace Hindman. She graduated in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She was a member of the National Council of Garden Clubs. She recently attained her Master Gardener through the Clemson Extension Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Dr. Rhett B. Myers of Pinopolis; two sons, Rhett B. Myers, II of Mt. Pleasant and Randy G. Myers of Summerville; daughter, Patricia M. Swafford of Atlanta, Georgia; father, Carl Hindman of Bonneau; three brothers, William Hindman of Bonneau, Thomas Hindman of Piedmont, Wendell Hindman of Fountain Inn; grandson, James Rhett Myers of Mt. Pleasant; three nephews and three nieces.

Lillian C. McManus Felder, 87, of N. Charleston, widow of James C. Felder, Sr., died Sunday, February 17, 2002, in a local hospital.
Services will be held, 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Born December 17, 1914, in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Daisy Amanda Rollins McManus. Mrs. Felder was a homemaker, former kindergarten teacher at Remount Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Felder was a member of Remount Baptist Church where she was a servant of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Felder.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Lynne Overbaugh and her husband Stanley of Charleston; sons, James Carlisle Felder, Jr., and his wife, Judy, of Katy, Texas, and Fred W. Felder and his wife Pixie of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

KINGSTREE - Emily Blanch Tisdale Walters, 70, died Sunday in a Kingstree hospital.
Mrs. Walters was born in Kingstree, a daughter of the late John Grice and Daisy Morris Tisdale. She was a retired employee of Baxter Labs and a member of Millwood United Methodist Church.

James Thomas Burney, age 67, died on February 18, 2002, at White Oak Manor, after a long illness.
Mr. Burney was born in Killen, Alabama, on June 10, 1934, to John and Ann Burney of Killen, Alabama. He was retired from Robert Bosch after 20 years of service.
Mr. Burney was a longtime member of Jehovah's Witnesses, attending the Goose Creek congregation.
A Memorial Service will be held at Goose Creek Kingdom Hall at 829 St. James Avenue on Wednesday February 20, 2002 at 7 p.m.

HART, Robert
Col. Robert S. Hart, USAF Reserves, age 51, and a resident of Gulfport, Miss., died Saturday, February 16, 2002, in Gulfport.
Col. Hart was a native of Abilene, Texas, a graduate of Eastland High School, Eastland, Texas; and a graduate of Texas Tech University. He was a Gulfport resident for two years and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport. Col. Hart served as a Command Pilot and served during Vietnam and Desert Storm, and his final command was of the 403rd Operations Group at Keesler AFB, which included the "Hurricane Hunters." He received numerous awards and decorations including the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Humanitarian Service Medal with three devices, and Southwest Asia Service Medal with three devices. He served as evaluation pilot in the 437 Airlift Wing and the 315 Airlift Wing at Charleston AFB, South Carolina, and was a Commander of the 707 Airlift Sqdn.
Col. Hart is survived by his wife, Karen Emerson Hart; son, Harrison Sanders Hart; daughter, Emerson Elizabeth Hart, all of Gulfport; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Hart, of Eastland, Texas; brother, Pat Hart, of Olden, Texas; and sister, Judy Hodgin, of Salado, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 4 today, Tuesday, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport, where friends may call after 3 p.m. Graveside services with full military honors will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 21, at the National Cemetery in Beaufort, S.C.

John William Holliday, 83, of St. George and Goose Creek, widower of Margaret Blackmon Holliday, died Sunday, February 17, 2002, in a local hospital.

Born July 22, 1918, in New Zion, S.C., he was a son of the late William Holliday. Mr. Holliday was a retired pipefitter with Westvaco and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, William "Doc" Holliday, and wife Nora of Summerville and Manning. A sister, Lucille Middleton, of Jacksonville, Fla., seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Carl H. Emory, Jr., 58, of Goose Creek, died Saturday, February 16, 2002. Born, September 28, 1943, in Durham, N.C., he was the son of Carl Holt Emory, Sr., and Virginia Emory. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Emory was employed by BellSouth as a Services Technician for nearly 36 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing pool. He is survived by his wife, Dena W. Emory, Goose Creek; five daughters, Geraldine Bobo and her husband Scott, Virginia White and her husband Troy, Carleen Douglas, and Lee Emory, all of Goose Creek, and Charlie Liner, and her husband Tracy of St. Mary's, Ga.; three sisters, Joan Marshburn, Virginia; Clara Emory, Hanahan; Carlene DeLeon, Mt. Mr. Varn was born November 3, 1917, in Colleton County, a son of the late James Edwin Varn and Pauline Dickinson Varn. He was a Methodist, a member of Unity Lodge #55 A.F.M., and the National Rifle Association. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are, his wife, Annie Lucas Varn and a daughter, Sherrill V. Crosby of Walterboro.

Visitation will be held, Tuesday evening, from 6 until 8 p.m., at the FRED PARKER FUNERAL HOME.
KLOBUKOWSKA, Irena
Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 16, 2002, Irena Tchorzewska Klobukowska widow of Wieslaw J. Klobukowski. Residence, Charleston, S.C.
Mrs. Klobukowska was born in Belarus and was a retired accountant with Gulf & Atlantic Insurance Company. She was past president and a founding member of the Polish Speaking Catholic Church and a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas.
She is survived by a son, Christopher J. Klobukowski and his wife, Alice Klobukowski of Charleston; a grandson, Christopher J. Klobukowski, Jr. and his wife, Karen Klobukowski of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; two great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Matthew Klobukowski of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The Mass of Christian Burial and the Prayers of Final Commendation will be held in Dallas, Texas.
