WARNER ROBBINS, GA. - Phillip Outlaw, 62, died February 21, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Mr. Outlaw was born in Phoenix City, Ala. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors degree in Engineering. He later earned a Masters Degree in Physics from the University of Georgia. He was the Radiation Safety Officer at University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Mr. Outlaw held several title's including Mr. Universe in the sport of body building. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Alice Outlaw.

Mr. Fulda was a career Enlisted Man in the United States Air Force, serving as senior load master with 3500 flying hours. He was a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force and was chief of security at Porsche. He was a member of VFW Post 3433 where he served as past post commander. He also served as past state grand commander MOC. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Surviving are, wife, Ellen Margaret O'Connell Fulda of Ladson; daughter, Sharon Bernstein of North Charleston; son, Major Walter John Fulda, USAF, of Montgomery, Ala.; brothers, David Fulda and Bruce Fulda, both of New Jersey; sister, Marion Fitzsimmons of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; he was pre-deceased by a sister, Diane Miller; step-father, Henry Kroef; three grandchildren.

KERR, David
David C.G. Kerr, a prominent Tampa lawyer and past president of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, died Saturday night at his home. He was 72 and had suffered for the past year with Lou Gehrig's disease. Mr. Kerr was born in Hamburg, Germany, where his parents were living at the time. His father was vice president of operations for Lykes Bros. Steamship Co. As a youth, he lived in Europe until the outbreak of World War II. Then he moved with his family to Bronxville, N.Y., and graduated from Kent School in Connecticut. Mr. Kerr received his bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University in 1951. He went on to serve three years aboard a destroyer and as an intelligence officer in the Navy during the Korean War. After returning to civilian life, Mr. Kerr received his law degree from New York University in 1957. He joined the Tampa law firm now known as Macfarlane, Ferguson & McMullen on January 9, 1958. He served as firm chairman from 1990-93. He retired in December 1999, but still served as counsel to the firm. During his years of active practice, Kerr handled cases involving litigation, transportation, admiralty, condemnation and general corporate representation. Two of his cases went successfully to the U.S. Supreme Court, one of which, "The Bremen Case," established a principle in international admiralty law. In the later part of his legal career, he was lead corporate counsel to several of Tampa's largest real estate developers. He represented general corporations and developments such as Harbour Island, Tampa Palms and the Ice Palace. For 39 years, Kerr served as General counsel and executive director for the National Juice Products Association, the largest international trade association in that field. He was president of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce in 1979 and chairman of its Committee of 100 in 1977. He headed the Florida Transportation Commission by appointments from Gov. Bob Martinez and Gov. Lawton Chiles, serving as a member of the commission from 1987 into 1999. Mr. Kerr was president of the Hillsborough County Bar Association in 1967 and a member of the Florida Bar's board of directors in 1971. He was also president of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute in 1975. Over the years Kerr served as director of Peninsula State Bank, Tampa Ship and Drydock, Lykes Bros. Inc., Tampa Bay International Terminals, Harbour Island, the Falk Foundation and as a member of the University of Tampa Board of Trustees. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, the Tampa Yacht and Country Club, Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla and the University Club of Tampa. Mr. Kerr is survived by his wife, Helen, of Tampa; two daughters Jenette and her husband Phil Redo of Irvington-on-Hudson, N.Y., and Sandra and her husband Tim Lewis of Bridgehampton, N.Y.; son, A. Charles Kerr and his wife JoAnne of St. Petersburg, Fla., four stepsons, James Andrew Bertron of Tallahassee, Stewart Bertron and his wife Tammy of Tampa, Fred Bertron and Tim Creagan of Miami, Fla., Cameron Bertron and his wife Megan of Denver, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Joey and Jeremy Kerr, Kate Lewis, Tommy and Cameron Bertron, Simon and Ruby Bertron and Thomas James Bertron. He also is survived by two sisters, Jenny Kerr Streiff of Gainesville and Mary Joy Kerr Bucher of Switzerland. Hazel Fisher Sommons, widow of John H. Sommons, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. died on Monday, February 25, 2002, in a local nursing home. All funeral services will be private.

PERRY, Bruce
RALEIGH, N.C. - Col. (USAF Ret.) Bruce Hartley Perry, 92, of Charleston, S.C. formerly of Raleigh, N.C. died Sunday, February 24, 2002.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2002, in Raleigh Memorial Park.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Illard (Margie Nan) Yarborough of High Point, N.C.; a son, Leon H. Perry and his wife, Doris, of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren, Perry Yarborough, Renee Nichols, Susan Moskow, Lisa Aldrich and Bruce H. Perry; and seven great-grandchildren.
Col. Perry served in the USAF from 1929 to 1959.

WALLING, Edward
Edward Clayton Walling, age 57 of Cookeville passed away on Monday, February 25, 2002 at a Cookeville hospital. He was born in Charleston, S.C. on August 2, 1944, the son of the late John Edward and Melrose (Waters) Walling.
He is employed with Meadows Homes of Lebanon as General Manager, he was a regional Sales Manager for Pepsi Cola in Charleston, S.C. for 20 years. He also served in the U.S. Army, in the Viet Nam War. He is a member of Trinity Assembly in Algood, Tenn.
Services will be Tuesday February 26, 2002 at 6 p.m. from Trinity Assembly in Algood. Visitation will be at Whitson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and at Trinity Assembly from 5-6 p.m. before services. Visitation also will be from 7-9 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home in Charleston, S.C. on Wednesday, February 27, 2002. Burial and graveside services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina. Pastor Bob Keich, Bro. Ronnie Holland and Donny Meadows will officiate at services.
Survivors include his wife Vicky (Mylin) Walling, Cookeville; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Wayne and Rebecca (Buxton) Walling, Sullivans Island, S.C.; daughter, Amy Melissa Walling, Cookeville; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Gene Janikowski and Sybil and Calvin Cook, both of Goose Creek, S.C.; one grandson, Edward Clayton Walling, II, Sullivans Island, S.C.; one granddaughter, Jade Clark, Cookeville, Tenn.
