Mrs. Poole was born November 12, 1916, in Marion County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Alfred Lewis Turner and Sue Carter Turner. She was a member of the former Charleston Heights Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Luther A. (Carol) Poole of Hanahan, S.C. and Bob Poole of Folly Beach, S.C.; daughter, Margie (Pete) Weathers of St. George, S.C.; two sisters, Lizzie Caulder of Charleston, S.C. and Ethel Burnett of Quincy, Fla.; four grandchildren, David Poole, Jennifer Poole, Danny Weathers and Caroline Weathers.

Mr. Southard was born May 6, 1928 in Sarnac Lake, New York, the son of William Isaac Southard and Marie Julia Arnow Southard. A graduate of Saranac Lake High School and a member of Furman University Paladin Club. He served with the U.S. Navy as an outside machinist during W.W.II. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of North Charleston, S.C.; one son, Geoffrey L. Southard and his wife Mary Barnes of North Charleston; one daughter, Robin A. Southard of North Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Marlene S. Flemming of Carthage, N.Y.; two nephews and three nieces.

EUTAWVILLE - Mr. Arthur Murray Blount, 81, of 12936 Old Highway Number Six, Eutawville, S.C., died Saturday at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The funeral will be 4 p.m., April 15, 2002, in the chapel of AVINGER FUNERAL HOME OF HOLLY HILL with the Rev. Bruce Rucker officiating. Burial will be in the Eutawville Cemetery.
Mr. Blount was born in Ulmer, S.C., a son of the late Andrew Jackson Blount and Argenia Rivers Blount. He was an Army veteran of World War II in the European Theater. He received the Bronze Star with the Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a retired merchant and a member of the Eutawville United Methodist Church. He was the widower of Mary Campbell Blount.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alice B. Atkinson of Eutawville; sister, Mrs. Edna Bell of Laurens; brothers, A.J. Blount of North Charleston, and grandsons, Buck Atkinson of Holly Hill and Shawn Atkinson of Eutawville; great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Atkinson of Holly Hill; great-grandson, Rivers Atkinson of Holly Hill.

Mrs. Tindall was born January 12, 1937, in Georgetown County, a daughter of Elby Marsh and Florrie Miller Marsh. She was educated in the Georgetown County School System, a machine operator with the Elastic Corporation of America, and was a member of the Steep Bottom Baptist Church.
Surviving are, two sons, Mark Tindall of Georgetown; and Michael Tindall of Hampton; three daughters, Darla Deal of Cleveland, Tenn.; Peggy Avant of Johnsonville; and Darlene Tyler of Hemingway; a sister, Jo Anna Jones of Pleasant Hill; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ashley Eugene Davidson, 95, of Ridgeville, widower of Georgia Muckelvaney Davidson, died Saturday morning in a North Charleston rehabilitation center.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Ridgeville.

Mr. Davidson was born on January 10, 1907 in Dorchester County, a son of the late John Davidson and Ellen Creel Davidson. Mr. Davidson attended school in Cottageville and he was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his sons, Earl and George of Ridgeville, A. Eugene Davidson, Jr. and J. Floyd Davidson of Summerville; daughters, Gracie A. Creal of Summerville, Helen E. Tucker of Charleston, Margie D. Hancock of North Charleston; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robert L. Davidson.

KOGER, JR., James
WALTERBORO - James Henry Koger, Jr., 83, a retired rural and city mail carrier for 30 years, died Friday at St. George Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Lawrence Peebles.
Mr. Koger was born December 10, 1918, in Walterboro, a son of the late James Henry Koger and Susie Calfee Koger. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and the Walterboro Lions Club.
Surviving are, his wife, Laveta Long Cook Koger, three sons, William Gary Koger of Aiken, Dr. James W. Cook of Vicksburg, Miss. and John R. Cook of Cape Coral, Fla., a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Dean of Walterboro and six grandchildren.

TEMPLE, Maria
TARBORO, N.C. - Marie Drane Temple died Friday, April 12th in Tarboro, N.C.
Mrs. Temple was born November 29, 1915 in Charlotte. She was the daughter of Brent Drane and Florence Thomas Drane. After marrying the Rev. Gray Temple in 1940, she lived in Fairfax, Va., Rocky Mount and Charlotte, N.C. and Columbia, S.C. Gray Temple was elected bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina in 1961, and the Temples moved to Charleston. They retired to Edisto Island in 1982 and later moved to the Episcopal Home at Still Hopes in West Columbia, S.C., where Bishop Temple died in 1999.
Maria Temple was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Drane who was killed in action in World War II.
Mrs. Temple is survived by a sister, Jacqueline Nash, Tarboro, N.C.; children, the Rev. Gray Temple, Jr., Duluth, Ga., Robert Drane Temple, Ocracoke, N.C., Charles Temple, Geneva, N.Y.; 7 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia, S.C. at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday April 18th.
LYNN, III, Thomas
Thomas Noel Lynn, III, of Mount Pleasant, born in Manassas, Va., April 5, 1933, was the son of Mary Lee and Thomas Noel Lynn, Jr., died April 11, 2002. He attended Falls Church, Va., High School and was a graduate of the University of Virginia where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Lynn was a retired sales manager at Compugraphic Corp. He is survived by his wife, Emily Peirano Lynn; three sons, Thomas Noel Lynn, IV of Asheville, N.C.; David Anthony and Theresa Lynn of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; Robert Brian Lynn and his fiancé Sally Tomlinson of St. Cloud, Fla. He is survived by two grandchildren, David Anthony Lynn, II and Mary Katherine Lynn of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Two sisters, Barbara Lynn Darin of Dearborn, Mich., and Nancy Lee Puffenbarger of Tucson, Ariz. The family will receive friends at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, MT.
