Mr. Lichauco was born in Manila, Philippine Islands, on February 13, 1926, the son of the late Leoncio Lichauco and Adela Moreno Lichauco. He was Catholic and retired from Goer Manufacturing Company, Inc. as a packer.
Surviving are his six sons, Celso Lichauco, Jose Lichauco, Arnoldo Lichauco, all of the Philippine Islands, Froilan Lichauco, Anthony Lichauco and Raymond Lichauco all of Goose Creek, S.C.; four daughters, Edna Linda Edwards of North Charleston, S.C., Clarissa Deano of the Philippine Islands, Imelda L. Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., and Veronica Lichauco of Sunnyville, Calif.; one brother, Totoy Lichauco of the Philippine Islands; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pearl M. Gassaway, 81, died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at a hospital in North Charleston, S.C. Born August 13, 1920, in Leeds, Ala., she was the daughter of James Willie Morris and Mary Elizabeth Morris (nee Jackson). Mrs. Gassaway was a homemaker and a member of Midway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her sister Ruby Bullard, she is survived by her daughter, Jewel Brown, Moncks Corner; three sisters, Jewel Craig, Moncks Corner; Carrie Frierson, Goose Creek; Mary Ellen McMillen, Chesapeake, Va.; brother, Buck Morris, Gadsden, S.C.; many nieces and nephews. Robert Eugene Holman, Sr., 82, of North Charleston, died Monday, April 22, 2002 in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2002 at Ferndale Baptist Church, 4870 Piedmont Avenue, North Charleston, S.C. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Born November 28, 1919, in Alexandria, La., he was the son of the late John Rudolph Holman and Lura Estelle Donaldson.
Mr. Holman was a retired machinist with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a charter member of Ferndale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Lorine Waltz Holman, of North Charleston, a daughter, Lura Holman McIntosh of Beaufort, a son, Robert E. Holman Jr. of Taylors, S.C. and 4 grandchildren.

GRAHAM, Ruth
Ruth Aliene Graham, 76, of 105 Pentecostal St., Bamberg, S.C., wife of the late David Thomas Graham, died April 22, 2002, at a Bamberg hospital.
Mrs. Graham was born December 1, 1925, in Clinton, S.C., the daughter of the late John Elbert Finney and the late Amanda Lorene Fulmer. She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church of Bamberg, S.C. She was a retired spinner with Bamberg Textile Mill, where she worked for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 25, 2002, at 11 a.m., at COONER FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial, Bamberg County Memorial Gardens., with Rev. John Carter officiating.
Survivors include, one daughter, Brenda Darnell of Bamberg, S.C.; one son, J.W. Dalton of Orangeburg, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wilbanks of Whitmire, S.C.; one brother, Thomas E. Finney of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

LESEMANN, Jack
Jack Julius Lesemann, 76, of Charleston, S.C., died at home on the morning of April 23. He was born in Charleston on October 12, 1925, to the late Karl John Lesemann and Emily Jahnz Lesemann. He graduated from the Citadel in 1949. He worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1949 until he retired in 1982 as Chief of the Engineering Division, Charleston District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the French Huguenot Church. He was a life member and a past president of the Arion Society. Jack was an avid boatsman having built his first boat at age 12. He was a licensed Coast Guard Captain. At the age of 70, Jack fulfilled a lifelong dream by earning his private pilot's license and then built his own two-passenger airplane. As a licensed amateur radio operator, Jack was a member of the Waterway Radio and Cruising Club.

Other survivors include a sister, Emily Lesemann "Armee" Sadler and a brother, Karl John Lesemann, Jr., two nephews, Dr. Robert K. Sadler and Mr. Tommy Sadler; and four nieces, Ms. Nancy Brynside, Mrs. Merrie Southgate, Mrs. Joy Marshall and Mrs. Elizabeth Morton. A sister, Elizabeth Lesemann "Betty" Koester, predeceased him.

FISK, Sr., Oscar
WALTERBORO - Oscar William Fisk, Sr., 95, a retired shop foreman with the S.C. Hwy. Dept., died Tuesday at Colleton Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Fred Parker Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Eric Bjork and Rev. Wayne Lovett. Interment will be in Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Fisk was born July 1, 1906 in Colleton County, a son of the late David Fisk and Florrie Seigler Fisk. He was a member of Bedon Baptist Church, a Deacon, Sunday School Director, Disciple Training Director, Choir member, and active in various committees. He was a member of the Gideons and a member of Unity Lodge #55 A.F.M. He was co-owner of the Variety Shed. He was married twice, first to the late Ruth Ritter Fisk.
Surviving are his wife, Verda Crosby Fisk, a son, Oscar W. (Billy) Fisk, Jr. of Moncks Corner, a daughter, Ruth Ann Beaudrot of St. George, a step-son, Raymond Nettles of Swansea, a step-daughter, Julie Helt of Aurora, Colo., 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and 12 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cynthia Hunt Clauson, 32, of Ottawa, died at home Sunday evening, April 21, 2002, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 26, in the First Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, with the Rev. John Walker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the MUELLER FUNERAL HOME.
Mrs. Clauson was born July 19, 1969 in Charleston, S.C. to Richard and Pearl (Williams) Hunt. She attended Clemson University and was employed as a Loan Officer at First Federal Savings Bank in Ottawa. She married Ronald Clauson on August 12, 1988 in Pawley's Island, S.C. She is survived by her husband, one son Steven, one daughter, Katherine, her parents of John's Island, S.C., three brothers, Richard (Michelle) Hunt, of Winter Park, Fla., Tom (Angee) Hunt of Snellville, Ga., Mark Hunt of Johns Island, S.C., and one sister, Dawn (William) Zattau, of Jacksonville, Fla. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Hunt.

Born on August 2, 1930 in Conway, S.C., a son of the late Charles Morgan Anderson, Sr. and Mollie J. Anderson. He attended schools in Conway, S.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean Conflict. He was director of Skating Ministry and an active deacon in First Baptist Church of Jedburg. He worked for Byrdseed Inc. and was the groundskeeper for First Baptist Church of Jedburg.
Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Eva Garriott of Summerville, Elaine Anderson Eshleman of Goose Creek, Gwen Miller of Charlotte, N.C., Peggy Anderson Garrett of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mary S. Anderson of Charleston; one son, Bryan Tettleton of Summerville; 7 grandchildren; 1 grand dog, Scout; 1 brother, J.C. Anderson of Conway; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Gene T. Anderson, Jr., granddaughter, Ashley Danielle Miller and two brothers, Willie Edwin Anderson and Charles Morgan Anderson, Jr.

Mr. Owens was born March 18, 1936, in Russellville, S.C., a son of Luther Bethea Owens and Nelda Murphy Owens. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Stephen. He was a member of Mt. Hope Lodge #128 AFM and Morning Star Chapter #121 OES. He was a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was a graduate of St. Stephen High School.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Keller Owens; a daughter, Melinda O. Wadford of St. Stephen; a son, Calvin B. Owens of St. Stephen; a sister, Elizabeth Barnett of Columbia; a brother, Jimmy Owens of Byron, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Michael.

Surviving are one sister, Joan Lupinetti of Conowingo, Maryland; two granddaughters, Christina Eckley of Hollywood, S.C. and Nicole Simmons of North Charleston, S.C.; six great-grandchildren; and a very dear friend, Juanita Simons of North Charleston, S.C. Mrs. Eckley was preceded in death by a son Peter Eckley.
