She had just recently moved back to Jasper to eventually come back to Charleston and the future new Pet Helper shelter. She was just a "call away" when we needed her advice. Her dedication to her personal pets, animal welfare, and rescue, and love of animals and photography, was what she lived for. We at Pet Helpers, as well as all who knew and worked with her will deeply miss her bright smile, laid back demeanor (except when she had something to say!) and loving heart. You left us too soon.
Liz will be cremated in Jasper with a private burial. Pet Helpers will hold a special memorial service in her honor, Saturday, June 16. Details available at Pet Helpers. Please make memorials to Pet Helpers, 1430 Folly Road, Charleston, S.C. 29412, which will be used to sponsor a shelter cage in Liz's honor.
