Bobby Joe Cameron, 60, of 151 Bob Rollins Road, formerly of Lockhart, husband of Brenda M. Cameron, died Nov. 9, 1999, at Rutherford Hospital.
He was a native of Chester County, a son of the late P. Leon and Irene Yongue Cameron, a machinist at Torrington Corporation, a member of Lockhart Freewill Baptist Church and a member of Lockhart Masonic Lodge #244 A. & P.M.
Survivors include a son Scott Cameron of Decatur, G.A.; a daughter, Judy Lynn Gill of Lockhart; two brothers, Earl Cameron of Chester and Leon Cameron of Winnsboro; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Padgett & King Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lowris with the Rev. Chris Snellgrove officiating. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Padgett & King Mortuary and 2:30 - 3 p.m. today at the home of a family member adjacent to the cemetery.

Florence Brock Deputy
Florence Brock "Dee Die" Deputy, 64, of 114 Arthur St., Union, died at her home Nov. 11, 1999, after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Deputy was born in Union on Feb. 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Jesse Leo and Rena Mae Parton Brock. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle of God.
Surviving are a sister, Peggy Ann Phillips of Union; four brothers, William (Buddy) Brock, Pete Brock and Gene Brock, all of Union and Jimmy Brock of Buffalo. Mrs. Deputy was predeceased by a daughter, Wanda Kay D. Crocker and a brother, Olin H. (Wink) Brock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Full Gospel Tabernacle of God by the Rev. Ricky Cook and the Rev. Joe Blalock. Burial will be in the Rosemont Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Maurice Brock, Brian Brock, Junior Brock, William E. Brock and John Patterson.
The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Saturday from 7-8:30 p.m. and will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Sunday to await the hour of service.
The family is at the home of her brother, Buddy Brock, 228 Bobo St., Union.

Terry Lynn Cox Briggs, 34, wife of Harold Dean Briggs of 1634 Trinty Springs Road, Newberry, died April 5, 2001 in Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia after a brief illness.
Mrs. Briggs was born in Newberry on Sept. 12,1966, a daughter of Virginia Cox and the late Larry Cox of Newberry. She was a Baptist and was a graduate of Newberry High School.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a daughter, Lisa Cox of the home and two brothers, Charlie Cox of Georgia and Michael Cox of Newberry.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Charlie Clinton. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Ray Hatcher, James Grooms, Timm McAbee, Fred Rodgers, Ted Hester, Jim Waltrip, Chad Dickley, Billy Martin, David Briggs and Joe Moore.
The body will be at the home, 1634 Trinty Springs Rd., Newberry, and will be placed in the funeral chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday to await the hour of service.
The family will be at the home of her father-in-law, John H. Briggs, 919 Sardis Road, Union on Saturday.

Ernest Harrison
Retired vocational teacher
James Ernest Harrison, 84, husband of Virginia Campbell Harrison of 351 Johnson Ave., Inman, and a former resident of Buffalo, died April 5, 2001 at 6:35 p.m. in Wallace Thomson Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Harrison was born in Buffalo on Sept. 15, 1916, a son of the late John M. and Lucy Stribling Harrison. He was a member and assistant Sunday school teacher at Inman First Baptist Church and was a former member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher, Deacon and a member of the church choir. Mr. Harrison was a graduate of Clemson University and was retired vocational teacher at Union High School where he taught auto mechanics and was voted Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Harrison was first married to the late Evelyn Murphy Harrison.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Guy (Ann H.) Langston of Buffalo; a step-son and his wife, Randy and Susan Campbell of Inman; a step-daughter and her husband, Martha Jane and Tom Van Drielen of San Jose, Calif.; a granddaughter and her husband, Shawn L. and Chris Zeigler of Augusta, Ga.; a grandson, James Langston of Buffalo; five step-grandchildren, Angie C. and Mike Smith of Gray Court, Stephanie Lockwood, Steven Campbell and David Campbell, all of Inman and Jonathan Lockwood of San Jose, Calif., and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Inman First Baptist Church by Dr. Don Bishop and the Rev. Jerry Lawson. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Joe Bridges.
Members of Mr. Harrison's Sunday School Class of Inman First Baptist Church are asked to assemble at the church Sunday at 1:45 p.m. to sit in a group.

Eva Nell Inman Boulware, 73, wife of Vernon W. Boulware of 251 Gin Circle, Buffalo, died May 30, 2001 at11:15 a.m. in Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Mrs. Boulware was born in Graham County, N.C., on March 19, 1928, a daughter of the late Murman and Maudie Pearl Odum Inman. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Buffalo and was retired from United Merchants-Buffalo Plant.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Irene B. Abrams and Lorene B. Vinson, both of Buffalo; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Edith) Nations of Arlington, Wash; a grandson and his wife, Eric and April Vinson of Buffalo; and two great-granddaughters, Kayla and Katlin Vinson of Buffalo. Mrs. Boulware was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Vernon Boulware.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. Johnny Burgess and the Rev. Jerry Lawson. Burial will be in the Putman Baptist Church cemetery.

WHITMIRE - Lottie Reed Baldwin, 88, of 114 Reed Circle, Whitmire, widow of James B. Baldwin, died Monday, July 30, 2001 at 5:45 p.m. in Newberry County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Baldwin was born in Kewanee, Ill. on Nov. 2, 1912, a daughter of the late James and Martha Kirby Reed. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church and was retired from J.P. Stevens Company, Jonesville Plant.
Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Ann B. Eubanks of Union, Louise B. Griffith of Buffalo, and Gayle B. and Wayne Bobo of Whitmire; two sisters, Bessie White and Grace Reed, both of Whitmire; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Baldwin was predeceased by two stepsons, Ross Baldwin and Roy Baldwin; two sistes and a brother, Nellie Green, Mable Barnes and James E. Reed.
Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today at Hebron Baptist Church by Rev. Jerry Ford. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

Zora Marena Bennett Jenkins, 98, of North Church St., Union, widow of Lemuel Jenkins, died Monday, July 30, 2001 at 11:15 p.m. in Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Mrs. Jenkins was born in Cullowhee, N.C. on April 12, 1903, a daughter of the late Haynes and Ella Mae Pressley Bennett. She was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lois J. and Richard Perryman of Lexington, N.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Sandra Jenkins of Union; five grandchildren, Timothy Jenkins of Union, Kelly Stabler of Wake Forest, N.C., Kevin Perryman of Asheville, N.C., Christopher Jenkins of Forida, and Lisa Bailey of Union; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jenkins was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial wias in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Kevin Grey Perryman, Louis A. Stabler III, Timothy Jenkins, Danny Bailey, and Thomas Klusker.

Annie Ruth Thomas Gist, 68, of Jonesville, died Sunday in Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Widow of Russell Gist, she was born in Jonesville, a daughter of the late Jake Davis and the late Catherine Thomas Smith.
Mrs. Gist was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she served as former president of the Sr. Missionaries, Sr. Choir members, and True Gospel Choir member.
Surviving are six sisters, Leatha Gist of Baltimore, Md., Mary Littlejohn and Helen Ruth Smith of Jonesville, Shirley Davis and Margaret Davis, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Gracie Davis; two brothers, Lawrence Davis of Union and Bobby Davis of Jonesville; foster sisters, Willie Mae Williams and Lena Kelly of Jonesville.
The family is at the home of Charles and Mary Littlejohn, 601 Alman St., Jonesville.
Services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church by Rev. Dwayne Cooper. Burial will be in Long's Chapel Cemetery.

COLUMBIA - Dora T. Reames of Jamestowne Apartments, 4214 Bethel Church Road, Columbia, formerly of Union, died July 31, 2001 at 2:05 p.m. in Providence Hospital.
Mrs. Reames was born in Union County, a daughter of the late Jesse and Nannie Burgess Thompson. She was a member of Shandon United Methodist Church in Columbia. Mrs. Reames was a graduate of Union High School and attended Cecil's Business College in Spartanburg. She was retired from the State Highway Department.
Survivors include a sister, Juanita Jesse Prokity of Columbia and many family and friends. Mrs. Reames was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Surrett and Wilcie Mae Farr.
Cryptside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Union Memorial Gardens Mausoleum conducted by the Rev. Bob Inman.

Elmina Hipps "Bobbie" Green, 84, widow of Howard Green, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at 12:45 a.m. in Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.
Mrs. Green was born in Chester on March 7, 1917, a daughter of the late Jacob and Cora Elizabeth Robinson Hipps. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from Milliken & Company, Monarch Plant. Mrs. Green was first married to the late Coley Mosley.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Becknell and Hazel Swanson, both of Union; three sons, James Mosley of Union, Coley Mosley Jr., of Pacolet and Larry Joe Mosley of Boiling Springs; among her stepchildren is Earl Green of Union; a sister, Susie Green of New York; two half-brothers, Mason Hipps of Pacolet and Dempsey Watts of Union; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Alton Stone and the Rev. Warren Jones. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery.
