Dorothy Madge Plieskatt Reddel, 78, of Edisto Beach, wife of Willard A. Reddel died Monday in a Charleston hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, Thursday morning, May 30, 2002 in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston.

Mrs. Reddel was born on June 24, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., a daughter of the late Herman Edward Plieskatt and Flora Wilcox Flieskatt. She graduated from Nursing School in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She received her bachelor degree at Case Western Reserve College in Cleveland, Ohio. She served in the United States Navy Nurse Corps where she was recalled to active duty during the Korean Conflict. She was later discharged from the Navy, on February 5, 1955. She was a member of Wally Byam Travel Trailer Club. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are: her husband of Edisto Beach; one daughter, Gale Shirley Lizana of St. Marys, Ga.; one son, Paul Willard Reddell of Lavonia, Ga.; two grandchildren, Charlotte A. Lizana & Patrick A. Lizana both of St. Marys, Ga.; one sister, Ruth Wilson of Allentown, Pa.

WRIGHT, Evelyn
Evelyn Hamilton Wright, 80, of Brattleboro, Vermont, formerly of Moncks Corner and Summerville, widow of Ernest C. Wright, died Sunday, May 26, 2002.
A Memorial Service will be held this evening at 7 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Newfane, Vermont.

Mrs. Wright was born December 4, 1902 at home in Brattleboro, Vermont, a daughter of the late Carl Churz and Annie Liscom Hamilton. She was a graduate of Brattleboro High School Class of 1921. After a year of training, she taught school for one year before entering the University of Vermont, where she graduated with a teaching degree in 1924. She taught school in Vermont and Massachusetts until her marriage to Ernest C. Wright of Brattleboro, Vermont in 1934. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Wright took over the Central Street Grocery, from Mr. Wright's father and worked together for many years running the store. They retired and went to Florida where they owned and operated several trailer parks, laundry mats and dry cleaners. Upon their second retirement, they moved to South Carolina to be near their son, Stanley.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Wood of New Mexico; four grandsons, Jim Chitwood of Colorado, Bobby C. Wright of Summerville, Lawrence O. Linder of Smoaks, S.C. and Richard "Dick" Wright of Summerville; four granddaughters, Jewel Ann "Sue" Browning of Charleston, Patricia Ann Buck of Goose Creek, Sandy Mietty of Summerville and Ann Marie Wright of Brattleboro, Vt.; 14 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Stanley E. Wright, 4 sisters, Meverette Anne Hamilton, Keziah Dickerman Hamilton, Elizabeth Hamilton Crossman and Lucinda Putnam Hamilton, one brother, Richard Liscorn Hamilton, Sr.

Roland Bruce "Popeye" Owen, 61, of Early Branch, S.C., died Sunday, May 27, 2002, at a Charleston hospital, after a short illness.
Born in Ridgeland, S.C., Mr. Owen was the son of the late Haskell Edward Owen and the late Dell Crosby Owen. He was a retired owner of Palmetto Marine in Summerville, S.C., and a member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church. He was a member of the Harley-Davidson Owners Group, and a former member of the U.S. Army Reserve.
Survivors include, wife, Sandra Thomas Owen of Early Branch, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Angie Owen of Manchester, Tenn., and Wayne and Susan Owen of Summerville, S.C.; brothers, James Owen of Charleston, S.C., Haskell Own of Raleigh, N.C.; sister, Joan Owen of Charleston, S.C.; three grandsons, Justin and Christopher Owen of Manchester, Tenn., and Conner Owen of Summerville, S.C.

EUTAWVILLE - Lola Marie Tucker, 64, of 159 Carribell Road, Eutawville, died Tuesday at her residence.

Ms. Tucker was born in Ocilla, Georgia a daughter of the late Virgil Robert Tucker and Mary Emma Lairsey Tucker. She was a retired commercial painter and was a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter, Terry Love of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Johnny Doyle of Holly Hill, Roy Cash of Eutawville, and Michael A. Tucker of Summerville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Connie Bays Donovan, 47, of North Charleston, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in a local hospital.
A memorial service will be held, Friday, May 31, 2002, 6:30 p.m., at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Hanahan.
Born December 18, 1954, in Oswego, Kans., she is the daughter of Laura Bays and the late Henry Bays of Kansas. She was employed as a Reservationist for the Six Continents Reservation Center. She also attended Divine Redeemer Catholic Church.
Survivors include her mother Laura Bays of Kansas; two sons, Jared Donovan and Ryan Donovan of North Charleston, several brothers and sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth Perkins Wentz, 76, of Charleston, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at a local hospital.

Born August 10, 1925, in Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of the late John Perkins and Olivia Plumber Perkins. She was a retired government employee and of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Wentz was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Ellen W. Stengel, of Summerville, and Olivia W. Hagenbuch and Wayne Hagenbuch, of Summerville; grandchildren, Roger Jr., and April Vargo, Kimberly Parler, Ruth Ann and Louis Venable, Rhonda and Larry Mayfield, Kristina and Robert Heaton, and Laura Stengel and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet A. Nelson and her husband Rick of Folly Beach, S.C.; one granddaughter, Andrea Cambridge of New York City, N.Y., and one sister-in-law, Kathryn Thurston in Shelbyville, Ind.
FETTER, James
James (Jimmy) Milton Fetter, age 85, of Dallas, formerly of Waco, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at a Dallas nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 30 at Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Waco with Rabbi Seth Mark Stander officiating. The family will receive friends and family 12:30-2:00PM Thursday at WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX 76712.
Mr. Fetter was born January 21, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry and Mildred Greenstein Fetter. He was in the U.S. Marines, and after retiring from a 25-year career with Texas Power and Light, ran his own real estate company in Waco, Texas until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of Masonic Lodge number 92 and a 33rddegree Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Waco Shrine and rode on the Texas T’s and a member of the marching patrol. He was a member of Temple Rodef Sholom. He was a lifetime member of Jack & Jill Donuts of Waco and lifelong fan of the Baylor Bears. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, devoted grandfather and great grandfather, and intelligent businessman and a friend to everyone that he came across. His grandchildren were the love of his life and he enjoyed his summer trips with them to the Waco Zoo, riding the train at Lions Park in Waco and taking them to Six Flags over Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bernard Fetter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Florence Rubinsky Fetter of Dallas, formerly of Waco; daughters, Annette Brown and husband, Martin of Dallas and Lana Thompson of Dallas; son, Stuart Fetter and wife, Janice of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; grandchildren, Dr. Marshall and Sherry Brown of Fort Worth, Allison and Randy Madison, Evan and Rachel Fetter, Melissa Fetter all of Dallas, Dr. Cindy Carter of Charleston, South Carolina and Lauren Thompson of McAlester, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Ryan Madison and Sam Madison of Dallas, Kaitlyn Thompson of McAlester, Oklahoma, Blake Brown and Carson Brown of Fort Worth, and Bradley Fetter of Dallas; sister-in-law, Lea Fetter and many nieces, nephews and life long friends.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Marshall Brown, Evan Fetter, Harold Ginsberg, Adolph (Tex) Krupicka, Arnold Miller, and Randy Madison. Honorary pallbearers are Harry Harlick, Mark Knapp, Bernard Unell, and Bruce Wolk.

Mr. Grimball was born in Charleston, S.C., a son of Ernest Wilkinson Grimball, Sr., and Frances Wilson Grimball. His step-mother was Lillian Palmer Grimball. He was a retired Lead Man with the Optical Shop at the Charleston Naval Shipyard with 40 years service. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and an Army veteran of W.W.II. He served in the European Theatre and participated in the Second Wave in the Battle of the Bulge. An avid sailor, he was instrumental in the rebirth of the Sailing Class, Sea Island One Design.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Jacques Grimball, Jr., of Johns Island, S.C.; a daughter, Anne Grimball Minshew and her husband Grey of Johns Island, S.C.; a son, Ernest W. Grimball, III, and his wife, Kathleen of James Island, S.C.; five grandchildren, Ernest W. Grimball, IV, Evan Fripp Minshew, Grey Becker Minshew, Rebecca Amanda Harris and J. Chris Austin; a son-in-law, Douglas W. Hirsh and four great-grandchildren; a step-sister, Ruth Palmer Lyons of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Mr. Grimball, Jr., was pre-deceased by a daughter, Susan Grimball Hirsh.

OHLMAN, Herbert M.
After a brief illness, Herbert M. Ohlman of Mt. Pleasant, died on the afternoon of Monday, May 27, 2002. His memorial service will be 7 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2002, at the Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting St., Charleston. Friends are invited to join the family for a gathering the evening before in celebration of his life from 5 until 7 p.m., on Saturday, at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Herb was born March 6, 1927, in New York City, the only child of Arthur and Edith Weiler Ohlman. An Army veteran of World War II, he graduated from Syracuse University and completed graduate studies at Washington University. He was recognized by the International Conference of Scientific Information as a pioneer in the computer information systems. During his career, he worked for numerous computer information companies and had worked for the World Health Organization in Switzerland as well as a consultant to other international organizations. Herb was vice-president of the Charleston PC Users Group and was a volunteer at the South Carolina Aquarium, Pinckney Historical Museum, and at Fort Moultrie National Park.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally Petty Ohlman, his daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Paul McNeil of London, England; Lisa and Francesco Cirieco of Geneva, Switzerland; his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Denise Ohlman of Ashland City, Tenn., and Jeffrey and Joanne Ohlman of Decatur, Ga. Seven grandchildren and many friends also survive.
