Mrs. Holloman died Thursday, May 31, 2007. born in Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late John David and Lottie Irene Boseman Williamson. She enjoyed and loved to be with her grandchildren. She also had a heart for animals and loved her pets. She loved gardening and working in her yard.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sheila Holloman of Pontiac, and Jimmy and Chris Holloman of Fort Mill, S.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Louie Harrison of Pontiac; and grandchildren, Niki Holloman, Forrest Holloman, Allie Holloman, and Kristin Wilhoyte.

Mrs. Miller, wife of the late Dr. James B. Miller, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in Camden, S.C. born in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Emma Haltiner Teuscher.
Surviving are her son, James T. Miller of Camden, S.C.; brother, Wilford Teuscher of Draper, Utah; sister, Lucille Boynton of Taylorsville, Utah; and a grandson, James A. Miller of Orlando Hills, Ill. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Forbush of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Wilbert W. Sullivan

CAMDEN - Funeral service for Wilbert “Mr. Bill” Sullivan, 81, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Florence National cemetery, Florence. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Sullivan, Elmer Sullivan, Ryan Tedder, Sam Howie, Don Joyner, Mike Parnell, Danny Lucas, and Donte Priester. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Sullivan died Friday, June 08, 2007. born in Yarbo, Ala., he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Minnie V. Goldman Sullivan. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Doreen Nicholls Sullivan; children, Margaret (Sam) Howie, and Sheri Catoe, both of Spartanburg, Rebecca “Becky” Priester of Camden, Teresa (John) Hay of England, Sharon K. (Dale) Mask, Bill Jackson, both of Alabama; brothers, Jesse (Rae) Sullivan, Elmer (Evelyn) Sullivan, all of Alabama; sisters, Thelma Sanderson of Virginia, Yvonne (Floyd) Hamrick of Texas, Betty Barnes, Elver Willard, Minnie (Dennis) Smith, and Doris (Tommy) Black, all of Alabama; brother-in-law, Junior Touchstone of Alabama; sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae Sullivan, Betty Lou Sullivan, and Eileen Sullivan of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest Sullivan, Melvin (Jack) Sullivan, Leonard C. Sullivan, Marvin (Pee Wee) Sullivan, Archie L. Sullivan, and Leon Sullivan; sister, Gloria Touchstone.
Morris Kirton Phillips

COLUMBIA - Funeral service with military honors for MSgt Morris Kirton Phillips, Sr., U.S. Air Force (Ret’d), 85, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at North Trenholm Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Phillips died Saturday, June 9, 2007. born in Godwin, N.C., he was a son of the late Samuel B. and Catherine Daisey Sineath Phillips. Having served in the United States Army Air Corp during WW II, he retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years. He served in the Air Force Inspector Generals office in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Embassy office of the Air Attaché in Havana, Cuba, and in the Intelligence and Physical Security at Eglin Air Force Base. He came to Columbia with the Air Force as their liaison for the Civil Air Patrol.
He was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church where he was member of the Bill Donahue Sunday School Class.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Bertha Blackwell Phillips; son, Morris Kirton Phillips, Jr. and his wife, Sandra of West Columbia; daughters, Brenda Phillips Isaacson and her husband, Col. Roy Isaacson, U.S. Army (Ret’d) of Lugoff, and Alwanda Lea Pope of Honea Path; brother, Samuel B. Phillips and his wife, Marie of Orange Park, Fla.; sisters, Mildred Brisson of St. Pauls, N.C., and Catherine Hurst of Fayetteville, N.C.; grandchildren, Phillip Isaacson and his wife, Cindy of Orange Park, Fla., Lt. Col. Mr. Pace died Saturday June 23, 2007. born in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herdie H. and Iva Pearl Rawls Pace. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree from California State University at Long Beach and was the Assistant Vice-President in charge of collections at Washington Mutual of Florence. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sandy Pace; and daughters, Julie Pace Spurlock of Columbia and Jennifer Pace of Lugoff.
Thomas "Tommy" McCaskill, III

Thomas McCaskill III of Oklahoma City, OK, loving father and son and MassMutual general agent, died in a car accident Sunday June 24, 2007. Best known for his boisterous love of life, family and friends, Tom passionately infused his sense of family and charity into his personal life and professional career.
His unique leadership style and vision for success touched the lives of those with whom he shared personal and business relationships. His professional honors were extensive and included numerous awards and recognitions, but foremost, he will always be remembered as a generous and loving man whose personal satisfaction was most fulfilled when those around him succeeded and prospered.
born in Camden June 11, 1957, he was the son of Thomas “Mac” McCaskill, Jr. and Marian Dennis McCaskill of Lugoff. He graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School in 1975. He attended the University of South Carolina before moving to Oklahoma in 1981.
After many successful years in the hotel and restaurant industry, he joined MassMutual in 1988 and rose quickly to its highest field position. Becoming a general agent in 1996, he rescued a failing Oklahoma City MassMutual general agency by engineering its growth to a top 10 firm nationally. Not only was he successful in his career, he was the most loving, selfless father a child could ask for.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two daughters, Alyson McCaskill Bush and her husband Russell of Monkey Island, OK, and Ashley McCaskill of Lawrence, KS, three sisters, Cheryl McCaskill Schwartz and husband Billy, Connie McCaskill Frith and husband Bill, and Carol McCaskill Johnson and husband Craig all of Lugoff; five nieces, two nephews and numerous aunts and uncles.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 27th at 2 pm at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Lugoff. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Mrs. Quilter, wife of the late George Quilter, died Thursday, June 28, 2007. born in Croydon, Surrey, England, she was the daughter of the late Richard Henchley and Rebecca Scarborough Pickering. She was a nurse and retired from the Pennsylvania Association of Retarded Children. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching and was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
