Gloria Jean Faust, 53, of 400 Mills Avenue, Suite 223, died Sunday, August 14, 2005.
born in Columbia, SC on August 14, 1952 she was a daughter of Manning and Lucille Evans Faust. She lived in Columbia until the age of six, when her father took a job transfer to Greenville. Years later in Gloria's own work career, her job transferred her back to Columbia.
Gloria enjoyed her job as a supervisor with Roadway Express, and worked in terminals in Greenville, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. While working in Columbia, she became a State Constable and was an active member of the South Carolina State Constable Association. After that she fulfilled her life-long dream and joined Richland County as a Reserve Deputy.
She was a member of Cherrydale Church in Greenville, SC. Gloria has also volunteered for Rape Crisis of Greenville and assisted victims of assault and rape; later she became a foster parent and was trained to assist special needs infants; and donated her time to fund raisers for the Shriner's Children's Hospital, and the March of Dimes.
Gloria is also survived by three daughters and one son; April Whitlock and her husband, James, and their four children, Haley, Lindsay, Caroline and Christopher of Greenville, SC; Tasha Wolf and her daughter, Caitlyn of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; Tricia Leventis and her husband, George, Jr., and their two daughters, Zoe and Marley of Taylors, SC; and Joshua Brown of Travelers Rest, SC. Gloria's four children and seven grandchildren were her most precious joy, and the love of her life.
Surviving in addition to her parents, children, their spouses, and grandchildren, are two sisters and two brothers; Kathy Jones and her husband, Chuck, of Auburn, GA; Linda Schaalma and her husband, Wayne, and their daughter, Britney of Travelers Rest, SC; Levon Faust and his wife, Nancy, and their daughter, Ashley of Greer, SC; Donald Faust and his wife, Trisha, and their children, Kelli and Ryan of Mauldin, SC. Gloria is predeceased by one brother, Larry Faust.
Gloria is also survived by other nieces and nephews from previous marriages. She is also survived in Columbia by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Scott Faust, Ray Faust, Cecil Gaffney, Randy Whitlock, Michael Foster and Gabe Leventis. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Rabon. Support group members of the SC Ovarian Cancer Foundation will also be honorary pallbearers.

Eva Edwards Dobbins, of NHC of Mauldin, widow of James D. Dobbins, died Monday, August 15, 2005 at Hillcrest Hospital.
born in Piedmont, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Jane Shackleford Edwards.
Mrs. Dobbins was retired from Union Carbide and was a member of Laurens Road Church of God.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed shopping, traveling, her flowers, singing, and playing the piano.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon 'Renee' Gibson of Simpsonville; a son, A. Douglas Dobbins of Mauldin; a sister, Bertha Brown of Piedmont; two grandchildren, Danial Gibson and his wife Chris of Greer, Amy Gibson of Simpsonville; and a great grandson, Joseph Gibson.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 10:30 am at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

Robert Joseph 'Bob' Dilloway, 86, of 812 Medora Drive, husband of Mary Jane Furda Dilloway, died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at his residence.
born in Detroit, MI., he was the son of the late William T. and Dora Callahan Dilloway.
A graduate of Pickney, Michigan, High School, Bob attended the Business Institute of Detroit and Michigan State University. Early in his career he was employed by General Motors, Oldsmobile Division. Holding various positions with Oldsmobile, Bob later became General Manager of the largest Oldsmobile dealership in Ohio and then transferred to Greenville, SC. as manager for the local Oldsmobile dealer
Later Mr. Dilloway entered real estate working for The Caine Company, and finally with The Furman Company where he was Senior Vice President.
In 1943, Mr. Dilloway entered the US Army where he served faithfully during WWII.
Mr. Dilloway was a member of the Poinsett Club, the Commerce Club, the Greenville Valley Club, the Greenville City Club, Knights of Columbus, Greenville Board of Realtors, National Board of Realtors and South Carolina Board, the Chamber of Commerce, the 300 Club of the Chamber, Fund Drive for St. Francis Hospital, the Urban League, Greenville Memorial Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and the Order of Hibernians. He was also a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters, Linda LaFrance of Pawleys Island, Peggy Greer of Simpsonville, Molly Abbate of Greenville, Julie Coates of Greer; a son, Robert Brian Dilloway of High Point, NC.; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Karen Rampey of Liberty, Rachel Byrd of Greenville; and a step-son, Christopher Mott of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian Schubel Dilloway.

Sarah N. Williamson, 87, of 18 Springside Avenue, died Saturday, August 13, 2005.
born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Frank and Mattie Timms Nimmons and was the widow of the late John Williamson.
She was retired from Ingles and was a member of Disciples United Methodist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Elizabeth Herman of Greenville; two sons, Budd Williamson of Greer and Charles Williamson of Greenville; a step-daughter, Ovaline Reeves of Pelzer; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by four sisters, three brothers and a step-daughter.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visition at 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Travelers Rest.

Paul Johnson Coleman, 67, of Greenville died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at his home.
born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was the son of the late Nelson Poe and Ruth Johnson Coleman.
Mr. Coleman was retired from the US Army as Sgt. 1st Class after 30 years of service. He also retired from the Civil Service.
He was a member of the Cooper Masonic Lodge and Enoree Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Jan Coleman Campbell of Columbia, Julie Coleman Jernigan and her husband, Richard, of Travelers Rest; a sister, Mae Turner and her husband, Rufus, of Travelers Rest; four grandchildren, Brittany and Chase Campbell of Columbia, Hunter and Colton Jernigan, of Travelers Rest. Mr. Coleman was predeceased by a granddaughter, Melissa Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel with burial in Grand View Memorial Gardens with full military honors at the graveside. Honorary Escort will be the 391st Combat Engineers.
Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of the daughter, Julie C. Jernigan, 523 Enoree Road, Travelers Rest.

Surviving are two daughters, Gail Dempsey of Greer and Annette Banther and husband B.F., of Simpsonville; a son, Leonard Traynham, and wife, Sheila, of Belton; five sisters, Nora Mae Oliver and Louise Winchester both of DeBary FL, Lillie Batson, husband, Norwood, of Greenville, Ruth Stewart, Edna Barton, and her husband, Buddy, all of Sunset; three brothers, Daniel Winchester, his wife Pearl of Salem, J.C. (Pete) Winchester of Greenville, and Harold Winchester, his wife Glenda, of Six Mile; six grandchildren, Scott and Heather Traynham, Lamont and Lyle Dempsey, Jamey and Joshua Chapman; and a great grandchild, Abigail Chapman.
She is predeceased by two brothers, William and Elbert Winchester.
Services will be held on Monday at 12 Noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery, West.
