Adrianna Dawn Holmes Ayer
Adrianna Dawn Holmes Ayer, 41, of Early Branch, died Jan. 31, 2011 at her residence.
Memorial service was held Feb. 3 at the Mole Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chapel, Barnwell. Dr. Terry Gunnells and Chuck McDonald officiated. Mole Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Ayer was born on Nov. 11, 1969 at Camp LeJuene N.C. She was the daughter of Evelyn Winter Welch and the late James Holmes.
Grace Alice Barnett
Grace Alice (Sparks) Barnett, 91, wife of the late Garman Ashland Barnett formerly of Barnwell, S.C., died Jan. 31, 2011 at The Residence Inn at Park Place in Seneca, S.C.
Funeral service was held Feb. 1 at Trinity Baptist Church, Seneca, with Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Barnett was born on Nov. 14, 1919 in Erwin, TN. She was the daughter of the late Greenberry and Elizabeth Sparks. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Barnwell, S.C., where she lived for 50 years before moving to Seneca, S.C.
Survivors include one daughter, Gail B. Rosier of Seneca, SC and one son, M. Alan Barnett of Simpsonville, SC, two sisters, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 2 at Barnwell County Memory Gardens, 2624 Reynolds Road, Barnwell, with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating.

Doris Hutto Jowers
Doris Hutto Jowers, 94, of Melrose, Fla., died Jan. 21, 2011.
Graveside service was held Jan. 29 at Eliam cemetery, Melrose. Morning Funeral Home of Melrose, Fla. was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Jowers was born in Denmark. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Philip Seigler and son, Jerry.
Survivors include one son, Mike (Leona) Jowers; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Elsie B. Hartzog
Elsie B. Hartzog, formerly of Columbia, died Jan. 26, 2011.
Funeral service was held Jan. 29 at Double Pond Baptist Church, Blackville, with the Rev. Tim Edmonds officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hartzog was a native of South Carolina and has lived in Marietta, Ga. for the past seven years to be with her family. She was born in Charleston. She was the daughter of the late William DuBose and Alma Schmetzer Boynton. She was married
to the late James Byrnes (Jim) Hartzog. She was a retired public school teacher having taught in Barnwell and Richland counties and Columbia College.
Survivors include one daughter, Jean Hartzog (Doyle) Presley and two grandchildren.

Olar Jones Carroll, 95, of Williston, died Jan. 26, 2011.

Mrs. Carroll was the daughter of the late John Pleasant Jones and Addie Mae Britt Jones. She was married
to the late Weston G. Carroll. She was a homemaker and a member of Williston First Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU. She was predeceased by a sister, Linnie Mae Spires and brothers, Dalton and Samuel Jesse Jones.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Faye Carroll (Steve) Shaffer of Columbia; one son, George Aubrey Carroll of Williston; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hutson was the son of Willard “Buddy” Hutson and Pamula Hutson. He was the brother of Frank and Mark, and father of Bradley Jr.
