Tami Sue Belshaw Reynolds, 49, of Williston, died Jan. 18, 2011 at her residence.
Memorial service was held Jan. 23 at Williston First Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Blankenship officiating. The Ackerman Chapter #198 Order of the Eastern Star rites was accorded. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Reynolds was born in Potsdam, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Carol Irene Kyle Belshaw.
Survivors include her husband Jesse Charles Reynolds; one son, James Cushman and two daughters, Jennifer and Jessica Reynolds.

Evelyn Virginia Wilson Cope, 88, of Fairfax, died Jan. 19, 2011 at the Trident Medical Hospital in North Charleston.

William Gaston Bush, Jr., 76, of Barnwell, died in Oct. 2010.

Elsie Gyles Pettebone, 86, a long time resident of Blackville and formerly of Annapolis, Md., died Jan. 10, 2011 at the Tate Chesapeake Hospice House in Linthicum, Md.

Bradley W. Hutson, 27, of Bradenton, Fla., died Jan. 9, 2011.

He was a beloved son of Willard “Buddy” Hutson and Pamula Hutson, brother of Frank and Mark, and father of Bradley Jr.

Phyllis June Arnett Pagett, 76, died Jan. 8, 2011.

She was born June 16, 1934 in Charleston West Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Phillip Burl “Cap” Arnett and Marbel Moles Arnett, who relocated to the Barnwell area in the late 1950’s. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles of Barnwell, S.C. She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Arnett Enmon and a grandson, Robert B. Pagett, III.
Eula Mae Crowe Tarrance
Eula Mae Crowe Tarrance, 84, of Beaufort, died Jan. 9, 2011 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

She was the mother of Nolan, Roland and Bratton Tarrance.
Delma Collins Smith
Mrs. Delma Collins Smith, 88, wife of the late Elmore Smith died Jan. 8, 2011.
Funeral service was held Jan. 12 at the Hilda First Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was born May 3, 1922 in Barnwell County. She was a daughter of the late Sifley and Lottie Hartzog Collins. She was a faithful member of the Hilda First Baptist Church where she was active in all phases of church life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Richard Ashley McCreary Jr.

Charlene Newton Thigpen, 87, of Columbia died Dec. 26, 2010.

Mrs. Thigpen was born Nov. 21, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. Newton and Annie Glenn Dinkins. She was the widow of Willard Ralph Thigpen, Sr. She retired from Mutual of Omaha after 33 years as office manager.
Margaret Hall Boylston
Margaret Hall Boylston, 91, of Allendale, died Dec. 29, 2010.
Funeral service was held Jan. 3 at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion in Allendale with the Revs. William Rose and Dr. Daniel Hank officiating. Burial was in the Swallow Savannah cemetery. Keith Smith Funeral Service of Allendale was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Boylston was born April 3, 1919 in Batesburg. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Nathalie Hadwin Hall. She married
the late James Reid Boylston Jr. in 1943. She attended Limestone College where she enhanced her fondness for the arts by participating in plays and music groups. She began her teaching career in Allendale where she used her background in dramatic arts to introduce her students into the theatrical arts by directing them in many plays. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion as a member of the Alter Guild and Lay Reader.
Survivors include two sons, Reid (Louise) Boylston of Barnwell and Hall (Mary Frances) Boylston of Allendale; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Melvin Marquis Taylor
Melvin Marquis Taylor, 37, of Bamberg, died Dec. 15, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral service was held Dec. 19 at London Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, N. C. with burial in the church cemetery. Guinyard and Sons Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Taylor was the son of Shirley T. Walker and the late Melvin Ray Taylor.
Survivors include his stepfather and mother, Terrance and Shirley T. Walker; siblings, Tanya (Jumane) McDaniel of Islip, N. Y., Ganesa Taylor, Daion Alexander and Tyrone Smith, all of Amityville, N. Y. and Marilyn (Larry) Jackson of Yangju, South Korea; aunts; one uncle; a special cousin who was like a sister, Queen T. (Willie) Edwards of Roanoke Rapids, N. C.; two nieces and two nephews.

Harry Goode Jr., 78, died Dec. 17, 2010 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken.
Funeral service was held Dec. 23, 2010 at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Martin, with the Revs. Nathaniel Odom and McKinley Neal officiating. Lebby Funeral Home of Barnwell was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Goode was born May 23, 1932 in Allendale County. He was the son of the late Harry Goode Sr. and Bertha Frank Goode. He was a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church of Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Louise W. Goode of the home; one son, Lati (Audrey) Tilley of Barnwell; two aunts, Evelyn Frank and Vangie L. Goode, both of Barnwell; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; two special nieces, Valorie Good and Ann Goode, both of Hollywood, Fla.; four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Janice Carolyn Felder, 59, of Bamberg, died Nov. 27, 2010 at Unihealth Post Acute Care in Bamberg.

Mrs. Felder was the daughter of the late Buster Herring and Ida Mae Herring.
