Frederick "Rick" David Lipe, 51, of Charleston, a sheet metal mechanic, died Saturday at his residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Stuhr's North Area Chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Park cemetery.
Mr. Lipe was born in Charleston, a son of Joe H. Lipe and Ruth Grant Lipe. He was a former employee with Lipe Sheet Metal Co. and Charleston Sheet Metal. He was Baptist.
Surviving are his father of Charleston; a daughter, Heather L. McClain of Greenville; a sister, Barbara Shaw of Charleston; two brothers, Joe H. Lipe Jr. of Spring, Texas, and Jerome G. Lipe of Spartanburg; and a grandchild.

George Farrion Spivey, 80, of North Charleston, owner of Spivey's Wrecker Service and Spivey's Mobile Home Park, died Sunday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel. Entombment will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Spivey was born in Andalusia, Ala., a son of Joseph L. Spivey and Myrtle Spivey. He attended Dorchester Road Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Bryant Spivey; seven sons, Glenn Spivey, Jerry Spivey and Marlin Spivey, all of Mobile, Ala., Pete Spivey of Georgianna, Ala., George Spivey II of Saint Francisville, La., and Houston Crowder and Houston Crowder Jr., both of Charleston; five daughters, V. Etta Schneinas of Green Sea and Barbara Canant, Mary B. Spivey, Christina Spivey and Romona Spivey, all of Charleston; 28 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jenne' was born in Kansas City, Mo., a son of Beryle L. Jenne' and Margaret White Jenne'. He attended Missouri schools. He was a member of Church of God International.

Ms. Bleach, 66, a retired employee with J&D; Enterprises, died Thursday in a Beaufort hospital. She was born on St. Helena Island, a daughter of Dan Robinson and Rebecca Bleach Smith. She attended Oaks Community School, and she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Surviving are her mother of Boston; six daughters, Mary Bleach and Betty Thomas, both of Boston, Sharon Bleach and Francee Bleach, both of Beaufort, Ethel L. Bleach of St. Helena Island and Emma M. CORAL GABLES, Fla. - James Sottile Jr., 84, a businessman with investments in construction, farming, cattle and banking, died Friday at his residence. The funeral was held Monday in Church of the Little Flower. Burial, directed by Ahern-Plummer Funeral Home of Miami, was in Woodlawn Park cemetery South in Miami.
Mr. Sottile was born in Charleston, a son of James Sottile and Louise Mohlman Sottile. He attended Coral Gables Military Academy and was a graduate of Miami High School and the University of Florida. He established Pan American Bank Credit Card and owned South Dade Farms and several banks. He was named as one of Fortune Magazine's top 20 richest men in the United States in 1957. He was a former trustee with the University of Miami and was a member of the Coral Gables Rotary Club, the Elks Club, the Sons of the American Revolution and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Hooks Sottile; a son, John Sottile; three daughters, Linda S. Lonergan, Suzanne S. Guanci and Jeanne S. Walsh; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
