ANDREWS - The funeral for Eloise Rogerson Barrineau will be at 4 p.m. today in Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, will be in Andrews Memorial cemetery. EL Mrs. Barrineau, 89, died Thursday in a Mount Pleasant nursing home. She was born in Andrews, a daughter of Lexious A. Rogerson and Mary Isabel Clemons Rogerson. She was a graduate of Andrews High School and Winthrop College. She wa a retired teacher at Andrews Elementary School. She was the widow of Benjamin F. Barrineau Jr.
Surviving are two sons, Benjamin F. Barrineau III and Laurice R. Barrineau, both of Andrews; a daughter, Glenda B. Roquemore of Mount Pleasant; three brothers, L.A. Rogerson of Columbia, William W. Rogerson of Ocean Isle, N.C., and R. Clem Rogerson of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Dorothy R. Newsom of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

HOOKS K. JOHNSTON
BEAUFORT - Hooks K. Johnston, 90, a retired aeronautical engineer and general foreman of quality control with Pratt and Whitney at United Aircraft, died Thursday at his residence. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Lawtonville cemetery in Estill. Burial will be directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Estill.
Mr. Johnston was born in Lurray, a son of Coy Johnston and Corinne Kelley Johnston. He attended Carlisle School and Clemson College. He graduated from Boeing School of Aeronautics. He designed several airplane models, which are in the S.C. State Museum. He was a member of the OX-5 Club.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Smith Johnston of Okatie; a son, Hooks K. Johnston Jr. of Andover, Mass.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

SURFSIDE BEACH - Olivia Smith Doyle, 73, an owner and operator of Glenns Bay Tanning and Toning and a former independent paper carrier with the Sun News, died Friday in a Myrtle Beach hospital. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Goldfinch Funeral Home in Conway. Burial will be in Aynor cemetery.
Mrs. Doyle was born in Conway, a daughter of Henry G. Smith and Sarah Harris Smith. She was a member of Belin United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Doyle; a son, Danny Doyle of Lexington; two daughters, Patty D. Cook of Conway and Dotty D. Grice of Garden City; and three grandchildren.

H. MAXCY HUGGINS
NICHOLS - H. Maxcy Huggins, 60, fire chief of the Mount Olive Fire Department and former employee of the Horry County Fire Department, died Friday near Conway. The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Sunday in Mount Olive Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Huggins was born in Horry County, a son of Bryan M. Huggins and Meekie Shelley Huggins. He was a graduate of Floyds High School and attended Clemson University. He was a Mason and a Jamil Shriner. He was a member and former deacon of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Gail King Huggins; two sons, Greg Huggins of Nichols and Jeff Huggins of Conway; a daughter, Mandy H. Hall of Jackson, Tenn.; a stepson, Kevin Elliott of Marion; a stepdaughter, Angie E. Fowler of Tabor City, N.C.; five grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

COLUMBIA - Milton Prue Blanchett Jr., 80, died Thursday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today in Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church. Burial, directed by Dunbar's Gervais Street Chapel, will be at 4 p.m. in Old White Church cemetery in Summerville.
Mr. Blanchett was born in Abbeville, a son of Milton P. Blanchett and Ruth Milford Blanchett. He was a graduate of Clemson University and a member of the Clemson Lettermen Association. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of the St. Andrews Shepherd Center and an active member of Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Edith Williams Blanchett of Columbia; a son, Milton P. Blanchett III of Charleston; two daughters, Kathy Johnson of Greenwood and Mary Jean Fried of Summerville; a sister, Francis McLeod of North Myrtle Beach; and four grandchildren.

Albert Joseph Martin, 70, of Charleston, a retired administrator with public schools in Oregon and Connecticut, died Tuesday in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Harborview Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private, according to McAlister's Downtown Chapel.
Mr. Martin was born in Providence, R.I., a son of Edward Martin and Louise Baldauf Martin. He was a graduate of Plymouth State College in New Hampshire and received a master's degree from Southern Oregon State College in Ashland, Ore. He was vice president of the New Voice Club. He was a member of the International Association of Larynectomies and a classroom instructor and tutor with Trident Literary Association. He was a member of Harborview Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret M. Martin; three sons, Stanley A. Martin of Auburn, Calif., William A. Martin of Gifford, N.H., and Geoffrey A. Martin of San Diego; a stepson, Andrew J. Davidson of San Diego; a stepdaughter, Lisa D. Bachan of Charleston; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Bennett was born in Springfield, Mo., a son of Edgar A. Bennett and Bessie Caulkins Bennett. He attended The Citadel, East Carolina University and the University of Maryland. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW and the Retired Officers Association. He was a member of Park Circle Presbyterian Church. He was the widower of Alcada Eugenia Trapp Bennett.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia S. Wiggins of Augusta and Beth A. Livingston of Hanahan; two sons, Alan L. Bennett of Honolulu and Gary P. Bennett of Stonington, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
