He was born in Charleston, a son of Wendell Bennett and Carolyn Bennett. He was in seventh grade at R.D. Schroder Middle School. He was a member of Allen AME Church.
Surviving are his parents of Edisto Island; a sister, Shavonna Bennett of Edisto Island; three brothers, Wendell Richardson, Joshua Bennett and Cordell Bennett, all of Edisto Island; and his grandmother, Pearl Wright of Edisto Island.

Mr. Thompson was born in Charleston, a son of Philip Thompson and Victoria Thompson. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He was an Army veteran and a member of Union AME Church.
Surviving are his mother of Awendaw; a son, Philip Thompson III of Awendaw, a daughter, Lashaunda Johnson of Awendaw; three sisters, the Rev. Anna L. Steed and Mary Kinloch, both of Awendaw, and Susan Middleton of McClellanville; four brothers, Fred Thompson of Louisville, Ky., Isiah Thompson and Herbert Thompson, both of Awendaw, and Roosevelt Thompson of Huger.

Miss Gibbs was born on Yonge's Island, a daughter of Benjamin Gibbs and Daisy White Gibbs. She was a graduate of Baptist Hill High School and was a member of Mount Zion AME Church.

Evangeline Brownlee Infinger, 83, of North Charleston died Tuesday at her residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Infinger was born in Ridgeville, a daughter of Henry J. Brownlee and Emma Hilton Brownlee Mizzell. She was a member of Indian Field United Methodist Church in St. George. She was the widow of Nathaniel H. Infinger.
Surviving are four sons, Everett N. Infinger of Columbia, Emory J. Infinger and Derrill F. Infinger, both of North Charleston, and Jasper M. Infinger of Pittsboro, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Helena E. Heidtmann, 91, of Charleston, a retired matron with the City of Charleston jail, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Bethany cemetery. Burial will be directed by Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.
Miss Heidtmann was born in Charleston, a daughter of Ernest H. Heidtmann and Marie Weirmann Heidtmann. She was a member of St. Barnabas Lutheran Church.
