MONCKS CORNER - Nancy Taylor Greene, 68, a homemaker, died Wednesday at her residence. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Stuhr's North Area Chapel in North Charleston. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in North Charleston.
Mrs. Greene was born in Charleston County, a daughter of George Durr and Minnie Winningham Durr. She was a member of Church of Nazarene.
Surviving are her husband, Raeford B. Greene; a son, Nickey L. Taylor of Summerville; four daughters, Nina Collins of Moncks Corner, Tina Byron and Wanda Britt, both of North Charleston, and Ava Foster of Greenville, Tenn.; three sisters, Letha Waid and Annie May Hill, both of North Charleston, and Dorothy Tucker of Fort Worth, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

HOUSTON A. KAISER Jr.
Houston Alton Kaiser Jr., 70, of Charleston, died Wednesday at his residence. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Stuhr's Downtown Chapel, will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in North Charleston.
Mr. Kaiser was born in Lexington, a son of Houston A. Kaiser and Lola Price Kaiser. He was an Army veteran and a Mason. He was a member of Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Alta Kelly Kaiser; two daughters, Kelly K. Hiott and Karyl K. Rich, both of Charleston; three sisters, Harriet K. Bedard and Rhoda Kaiser, both of Charleston, and Patricia K. Hickman of North Charleston; a brother, Gerald Kaiser of Georgia; and three grandchildren.

HUGH M. KENNEDY
Hugh Maclean Kennedy, 82, of Charleston, a former engineer, died Wednesday in local hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First (Scots) Presbyterian Church. Burial, directed by Stuhr's Downtown Chapel, will be in Magnolia cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy was born in Glasgow, Scotland, a son of Donald Kennedy and Mary Murray Kennedy. He was a British army veteran of World War II. He was a Mason and a charter member of the St. Andrews Society of Columbia, a fellow of the Scottish Society of Antiquities and co-founder and president emeritus of the Kennedy Society of America. He was a member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Christeen Armstrong Kennedy; a daughter, Patricia K. Carr of Astor, Fla.; a son, Bruce Kennedy of Bahrain; a sister of Scotland; a grandchild; and two step-grandchildren.

ALFRED PLATTS
Alfred "Pickem" Platts, 53, of Charleston, a warehouseman with the Naval Weapons Station, died Friday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Morris Street Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Suburban Funeral Home of North Charleston, will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Platts was born in Charleston, a son of Mack Platts Jr. and Mamie Platts. He was a graduate of Burke High School and a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a Mason. He was an active member of Morris Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. Platts; two sons, Sean Platts and Kevin Platts, both of Charleston; a daughter, Robin Platts of Charleston; two brothers, Mack Platts III and James Platts, both of Charleston; two sisters, Betty Brown and Martha Wiggins, both of Charleston; and two grandchildren.

THOMAS P. MORRIS
BAMBERG - Thomas P. Morris, 81, retired president and general manager of Delavan Inc., died Thursday in a local nursing home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Cooner Funeral Home, will be in Bamberg County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Morris was born in Dyer, Tenn., a son of Robert P. Morris and Allie Dee Johns Morris. He attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Gideons International. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene Davis Morris; two daughters, Susan M. Rhoden of Bamberg and Ann Gibson of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, Thomas P. Morris Jr. of Adel, Iowa, and Paul Morris of Komiah, Idaho; a sister, Bobbie Ruth Allen of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

FRANCES W. MISSROON
GEORGETOWN - Frances West Missroon, 97, a former employee with Georgetown County School Lunchroom system, died Wednesday in a local hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Friendfield Presbyterian Church. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Mrs. Missroon was born in Georgetown County, a daughter of James H. West and Charlotte Ellis West. She was a member of Friendfield Presbyterian Church and the widow of Leon G. Missroon.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean M. Corkern; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

GEORGE L. CUMMINGS
ST. MATTHEWS - George Lee Cummings, 77, a retired teaching instructor with Covec in Orangeburg, died Thursday in an Orangeburg hospital. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Elloree. Burial, directed by Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home of Elloree, will be in Santee Baptist Church cemetery in Elloree.
Mr. Cummings was born in Delta County, Texas, a son of Elmer L. Cummings and Jewel Roland Cummings. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the American Legion and a member of First Baptist Church in Elloree. He was the widower of Meta Berger Cummings.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Garcia of Elloree; a brother, the Rev. Odie E. Cummings of Canton, Texas; a sister, Beth Wolfe of Mesquite, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

WALTERBORO - The funeral for Richard Jones will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in McCune Baptist Church in Lodge. Burial, directed by Maree-Tracy Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jones, 64, died Sunday in a Jacksonville, Fla., hospital. He was born in Lodge, a son of Marvin Jones and Allean Murdaugh Jones. He attended Colleton County schools and was a member of McCune Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ida Mae Williams Jones; two daughters, Patricia Cobbs and Joyce Lawson, both of Jacksonville; two sons, Richard A. Jones Jr. of Jacksonville and B.J. Jones of Howell, N.J.; a stepson, Carl Williams Jr. of Jacksonville; a brother, Marvin Jones Jr. of Walterboro; two sisters, Marvelean Smalls of Lodge and Priscilla Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

SALTERS - The funeral for Alice Gamble Snowden will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home of Kingstree, will be in Jerusalem United Methodist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Snowden, 97, a homemaker, died Tuesday at her residence. She was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Cornelius Gamble and Nancy Gamble. She attended Williamsburg County schools. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and the widow of Robert Snowden.
Surviving are a son, Prince Snowden of Detroit; four daughters, Oraie S. Mouzon and Nancy Randolph, both of Salters, Florida Davis of Detroit and Susie McCray of Clearwater, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

KINGSTREE - The funeral for Anna Louise Cooper will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater Bethel AME Church. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, will be in Kingstree cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper, 91, died Aug. 4 in Charlotte. She was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of John Cooper and Lena Cooper. She attended Williamsburg County schools and was a graduate of Morris College. She was a teacher with Williamsburg County schools. She was a member of Sons and Daughters of Job and Greater Bethel AME Church and the widow of James E. Cooper.
Surviving are two daughters, Margaret L. Scott of New Haven, Conn., and Lena M. Adams of Charlotte; two sons, Willie J. Cooper of Cordova and Samuel F. Cooper of Kingstree; a sister, Grace Williams of Columbia; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

ANDREWS - David Mark Graham, 67, died Saturday at his residence. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in Mount Zion AME Church. Burial, directed by McKnight-Fraser Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Graham was born in Andrews, a son of Namon Graham and Ruth McCullough. He attended Williamsburg County schools and was a member of Mount Zion AME Church.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Graham; his mother of Andrews; six daughters, Nellie Porter of Andrews, Juanita Jackson, Christine Graham, Thelma Graham, Ruby White and Rosa Nixon, all of Rochester, N.Y.; four sons, Norman L. Graham of Winston-Salem, N.C., David L. Graham, Lydell Veron and Frank Graham, all of Rochester; four stepdaughters, Carolyn Gamble, Cassandra Graham and Chandra Graham, all of Rochester, and Cleo White of Andrews; a stepson, Aaron Graham of Rochester; three sisters, Lucille Gilbert, Annie Donald and Lottie Hunter, all of Rochester; nine brothers, Willie McCullough of Andrews, John McCullough, Alton McCullough, George McCullough, Nelson McCullough, Jerome Graham, Samuel Graham, Joe Graham and Lee Graham, all of Rochester; 28 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

TEXARKANA, Texas - Malakie Rasheed Fayad, retired co-owner of the Nahdat al Arab Arabic newspaper, died Wednesday at her residence. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mayer Funeral Home in Georgetown, S.C. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery Annex in Georgetown.
Mrs. Fayad was born in Beit Meri, Lebanon. She was of the Lebanese Druze faith and the widow of Said D. Fayad.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Fayad of Texarkana; a son, David Fayad of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and a grandchild.

MANNING - Daniel Alan Geddings, 54, an employee with Welliver McGuire Inc., died Wednesday in a Concord, N.C., hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Stephens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Paxville cemetery.
Mr. Geddings was born in Manning, a son of Annie DuBose Geddings. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Vietnam Era Veterans Club of South Carolina and Woodmen of the World. He was Protestant.
Surviving are his wife, Jeannie Sims Geddings; a daughter, Dana Mendoza of Manning; a son, Daniel A. Geddings Jr. of Manning; a sister, Winnie F. Gainer of Fort Lawn; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Doctor, 52, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born in Eutawville, a son of John J. Doctor and Lizzie Gibbs Doctor. He attended Roberts High School. He was an employee with Seacrest Laundry Services.
Surviving are his parents of Holly Hill; a daughter, Tamara Doctor of New York; four sons, Kevin Doctor, Shawn Doctor, Neil Doctor and Frederick Doctor, all of New York; three sisters, Louvenia Taylor of New York and Christine D. Bowers and Yvonne Green, both of Miami; two brothers, Ernest Doctor of Eutawville and Adam Doctor of Santee, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
