WEATHERFORD, Mrs. W.
ESTILL - Mrs. Walter Mikell Weatherford, 90, widow of the late Cliff Weatherford, died Monday afternoon in the Hampton Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
Mrs. Weatherford was born in Hampton County, October 5, 1911, a daughter of the late Winborn Lawton Mikell and Alma Youngblood Mikell. She was a retired Office Manager and was a member of the Lawtonville Baptist Church.
Surviving are: one sister, Victoria M. Chiles of High Point, North Carolina; and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. S.M. Mikell and Mrs. C.H. Mikell both of Estill. There are a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lawtonville cemetery, conducted by Rev. Dr. James Norris and directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME in Hampton.
Friends may call at the cemetery prior to services Wednesday morning.

Kermitt Christopher Dangerfield, 71, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired brick mason, died Tuesday in a Charleston hospital.

Mr. Dangerfield was born June 25, 1930, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of Julian Dangerfield and Anna Burbage Dangerfield. He was a member of the Pioneer Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is the widower of Bessie Wright Dangerfield.
Surviving are three daughters, Marie Winningham, Nell Broad and Bonnie Dangerfield of Moncks Corner; two sons, Kermitt Dangerfield, Jr. and Joseph Elwood Mills both of Moncks Corner; three sisters, Irene Driggers and Cora Lee Driggers both of Moncks Corner, and Vermell Mizell of Summerville; and fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
