BRIOR, John E.
John Edward Brior, 90, of North Charleston, widower of Kathryn E. Brior, died Wednesday in a North Charleston hospital.
Funeral service will be held Friday, November 16, 2001 at 11 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.
Mr. Brior was born on July 3, 1911 in Easton, Pa., a son of the late Jonas F. Brior and Hazel Wise Brior.
He attended Easton High School in Pennsylvania. He retired from the United States Army serving during World War II with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, was a retired General Service Administrator with Civil Service and was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Marcia J. Hedegor of Goose Creek; 3 grandchildren, John Hedegor of Goose Creek, Eric Hedegor of Abbeville, Peter Hedegor of Charleston and one niece, Linda Myers of Bradford, Pa.

Dale Albert Kimball, 65, of Sullivan's Island, died Friday, November 9th. LOTT, Marsha K.
Marsha Kay Lott, 46, of Charleston, died Monday, November 12, 2001 at a Charleston hospital. Miss Lott was born Thursday, October 20, 1955 in Charleston, the daughter of William Vickers and Marion Taylor Caige Lott. She graduated from St. Andrews High School and was employed by the Hand Protection Division of North Safety Products, Inc. Miss Lott was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Marsha enjoyed painting and horses. She was an artist and craftsman and will always be remembered for her love of animals and her kind disposition. Surviving are her brother, David R. Lott of Charleston; an aunt, Davetbe C. Jordan of Charleston; two cousins, Jody J. Davis of Charleston and Clarie M. Walsh of Omaha, Neb. Mr. Amaker was born March 26, 1943 in Orangeburg, SC, the son of John E. and Lois Wannamaker Amaker. Mr. Amaker was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps and was formerly employed with the Charleston Naval Shipyard & Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a mechanic in the service craft department.
Surviving are his mother of Goose Creek, SC; a daughter, Stephanie Taylor of Madison, SD; a brother, Fred Edwin Amaker of Goose Creek, SC; two sisters, Teresa A. Rogers of James Island, SC and Deborah A. Strange of Moncks Corner, SC; two grandchildren; fiancee, Toni Romanus of Goose Creek, SC.
TODD, Dorothy
GEORGETOWN - Dorothy Williams Todd, 71, died Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Todd was born in Georgetown on June 30, 1930, a daughter of the late James Edward "Ed" Williams and Mary Richardson Williams. She was a graduate of Winyah High School and attended two years of business school in Charleston. Mrs. Todd was an employee of S.C.N. Bank and Wachovia Bank. She retired after 25 years as a Loan Officer. Mrs. Todd was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Georgetown.
Surviving are two sons, Mark L. Todd of Georgetown and Michael A. Todd of Charleston; a brother, Charles E. Williams of Georgetown; a sister, Kay Frances W. Cooke of Richmond, Va. and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Todd was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Ann Todd.
Memorial services will be Friday morning, November 16, 2001, at 11 o'clock in the Georgetown Chapel of MAYER FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill. Inurnment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the memorial service.

Jack Louis Northrop, Jr., 62, of North Charleston, a retired employee of the security department at M.U.S.C. and the College of Charleston, died Saturday in a Charleston hospital. born in Brunswick, Georgia, he was the son of Jack L. Northrop, Sr. and Catherine McKenzie Northrop. Mr. Northrop served in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his mother of Norcross, Ga.; daughter, Geneva N. Naef of Bothwell, Utah, sons, Fred I. Northrop of Ladson and Jack L. Northrop, III of North Charleston; a sister, Mary Jane Stevenson of Chamblee, GA. and a brother, Thomas E. Northrop of Chamblee, GA.

YAZELL, Margaret
Mrs. Margaret Johnson Yazell, 83, passed away, Sunday, November 11, 2001, in Houston, Texas, after a long illness. She was a retired homemaker and an active member of her community in St. Petersburg, Fla., for 34 years until her arrival in Texas on October 14, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Raymond Milton Yazell, and her son, Roderick Evans Yazell. Survivors include her sons, Raymond, Jr., Dennis, and Douglas, sisters, Helen J. Biggs and Constance J. Saracco, sister-in-law, Emma K. Johnson, two granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren.
