TANNER, Rhodie
HEMINGWAY - Rhodie Cribb Tanner, 87, wife of Wister S. Tanner, died Wednesday in a Conway hospital.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Center Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by MORRIS FUNERAL HOME.
Mrs. Tanner was born in Hemingway a daughter of the late Robert L. Cribb and Della Powers Cribb. She was a member of the Center Baptist Church.
Surviving includes her husband of 72 years, Wister S. Tanner; her children, Wilma T. Foxworth of Hemingway, Samuel E. Tanner of Georgetown, Thomas A. Tanner, Charles H. Tanner of Hemingway, Gene A. Tanner, Cinda T. Woodberry of Kings Mtn., NC, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

ABSHER, Jacqueline
Jacqueline Denise Smith Absher, 32, of Summerville, a Charleston Southern University student and a Lowe's of Summerville employee, died Wednesday at her residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Absher was born June 10, 1969 at Asheville, North Carolina, a daughter of Tom M. Smith, Jr. and Margaret Eppley Smith. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, James A. Absher, Jr. of Summerville; parents of Summerville; brother, John Michael Smith of Easley; maternal grandmother, Frances Helloms of Gray Court, SC.
