GREENSBORO, N.C. - Gerald A. "Jerry" Teague, Sr., of Greensboro, passed away November 21, 2001, at a regional hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2001, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5736 Inman Road.
Jerry was retired from Nationwide Insurance, and a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Jerry was loved by everyone who knew him, and he will be greatly missed. He was an Air Force Veteran and a member and Mason of the Durham Lodge.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Rebecca Teague; children, Gerald Teague, Jr., Kimberly Smith, Robert Teague, and Connie Farina; brothers, Bowman and Ernie Teague; sisters, Faye Rigsbee and Polly Riddle, and 11 grandchildren.

COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Mr. Joseph D. (Dave) Pope, 75, of Columbia, will be held at 3 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2001, in SHIVES FUNERAL HOME, Colonial Chapel, conducted by the Reverend Robert F. Gabriel. Mr. Pope died Thursday, November 22, 2001. born in Conway, S.C., he was a son of the late Jackson McCray and Agnes Cannon Pope. Mr. Pope attended the University of South Carolina, prior to that he ran Pope's Place on Ocean Drive and also was associated with the Myrtle Beach Pavilion. While attending the University of South Carolina he was a cheerleader; he served as a Dixie Youth Baseball League Coach, the Belvedere section of Columbia. Mr. Pope retired after spending over 40 years with the Orders Tile and Distributing Company of Columbia and Greenville.
Survivors are his wife, Patricia Ann "Pat" Pope of Columbia, son, Stephen David Pope and his wife, Tammy, of Columbia, daughters, Penny Pope Rowland and Missy P. Aranus and her husband, Mark, all of Lexington; grandchild, Nicholas David Aranus, step-grandchildren, Ashley and Stacy Burch; sister, Edna Dunn and her husband, Herbert, of Florence, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pope was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Smoak.

James Leonard Corley, 78, of Summerville, S.C., died Wednesday morning, November 21, 2001, at a Charleston hospital.

WALTERBORO - Mrs. Patricia Bazzle Frasier, 81, of 317 Seiglers Drive, died Friday at a Walterboro hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the Walterboro Church of God, with Rev. John Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Dam United Methodist Church cemetery, directed by the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Frasier was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Henry Bazzle, Sr., and Haley Wasson Bazzle. She was a member of Bedon Baptist Church and attended the Walterboro Church of God. She was the widow of Edward Webb Frasier, Jr., and was a loving and kind hearted mother.
Surviving are six sons, Edward Webb Frasier, III, Riddick S. Frasier, Ronnie S. Frasier, and Sonny C. Frasier, all of Walterboro, Ernest Frasier of Florence, and Johnny E. Frasier of Aiken, four daughters, Rose F. Lawson, Carrie B. Riley, and Kathy F. Colson, all of Walterboro and Patricia A. DeWitt of Williford, Ark., four brothers, Earl Bazzle, Isaiah "Ike" Bazzle, and Stephen Bazzle, all of Walterboro, and Frank Bazzle of Shreveport, La., 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday, at the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.
