WILLIAMS, Derrill
The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Derrill F. Williams are invited to attend the memorial services of the former in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, Wednesday morning, October 10, 2001 at 11:30 a.m.
Friends may call in J. HENRY STURH, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC, 29414, Wednesday morning, from 10:30 until time of service. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elks Lodge 242, Educational Fund, 1113 Sam Rittenburg Blvd., Charleston, SC, 29407.

WEATHERS, William
ST. GEORGE, S.C. - Cliff Weathers, 93, of 116 Minus St. died at his home Sunday morning after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. George United Methodist Church with Rev. Wash Belangia officiating. Burial will follow at the Duncan Chapel cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home.
Mr. Weathers was born May 23, 1908 in the Duncan Chapel community a son of the late Julius Albert Weathers and Minnie Elizabeth Shuler Weathers. Mr. Weathers was a manager of the Firestone store, a retired salesman at Sojourner Chevrolet Company and a Farmer. Mr. Weathers was a member of the St. George United Methodist Church where he was a Stewart Emeritus and an active member of Men's Bible class. He was a former Dorchester County Council member, St. George Town council, Mayor Pro-Tem, and a Woodman of the World. Mr. Weathers was pre-deceased by his wife Inez Bardin Weathers.
Surviving are, one son, William Albert "Bert" Weathers, Athens, TN; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Jennifer) Williams, Walterboro, S.C.; four grandchildren, Joseph Bertman "Bud" Williams, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Landis Inez Williams, Walterboro, S.C., Louie Clifton "Luke" Weathers, Athens TN., Carey Lonita Weathers, Gastonia, N.C.; three step-grandchildren, Jeremey Good, Natalie Good, both of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Chesley Good, Columbia, S.C.

FORD, Joshua
The relatives and friends of Joshua Ryan Ford are invited to attend his funeral service this morning at 11:00 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Joshua Ryan Ford Memorial Fund c/o 1st Federal of Charleston.

HILBOURN, Jack
Mr. Jack Aurdey Hilbourn, age 67, of the West Ashley community died Saturday, October 6, 2001, at his home following an illness. born February 3, 1934, in Loris, S.C., Mr. Hilbourn was the son of the late James Walter Hilbourn, Sr., and the late Bessie McKenzie Hilbourn. Mr. Hilbourn was retired from the Civil Service as a pipe fitter with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia, and a member of the Victory Assembly in Poquoson, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Cannon Hilbourn of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Vicki Alsbrook and her husband, Joe, of Charleston, S.C., and Dorothy Lee Hall and her husband, Tim, of Newport News, Va.; three brothers, Earl Hilbourn of York, S.C., Roy Hilbourn of Loris, S.C., and Joyce "Monty" Hilbourn of La Grange, N.C.; three sisters, Ollie Bessant of Conway, S.C., Elaine Varnadoe of Hanahan, S.C., and Loraine Hilbourn of Creekwood, S.C.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Hilbourn was predeceased by one son, Jimmy Dale Hilbourn.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2001, at 2 p.m., from the Hardwick Memorial Chapel with burial in Patterson cemetery. Reverend Don Marsh and Reverend Lloyd Williamson will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Mrs. Ernestine Hilbourn, 2327 West Palmer Drive, Charleston, S.C. 29414. The family will receive friends at Hardwick Funeral Home, Monday night, from 7 until 9 p.m. Directed by HARDWICK FUNERAL HOME OF LORIS, S.C.

BUTLER, Mable
Entered into eternal rest, Friday, October 5, 2001, Mrs. Mable C. Butler. She is the beloved wife of Mr. Chester G. Butler; mother of Eartha S. Butler; daughter of Mrs. Alma Scott; sister of Mr. Frank Harris, Jr.; niece of Mr. Eddie Jones, Mrs. Lula Jones and Mrs. Katherine Jones. CASTILLO, Alberto
Infant Alberto Martinez Castillo, son of Alberto Martinez and Claudia Castillo, died Saturday evening in an Allendale hospital.
Surviving are his parents of Varnville, a sister, Marilin Martinez, Varnville, maternal grandmother, Estela Zavala, Mexico, and paternal grandparents, Luis Martinez and Piedad Jalvan, Mexico. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday morning in the Sandy Run cemetery.

Entered into eternal rest on October 6, 2001, Mr. Oscar Roscoe (Mitch) Mitchell, the beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Mitchell, father of Margaret M. Merene, Gary Mitchell, Carlton Mitchell, Patricia A. Mitchell, John F. Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell, Eric Mitchell, Teresa M. Robinson, Chona A. Mitchell, and Gregory Simmons, son of the late Henderson E. Mitchell, Sr., and the late Missouri Barn Mitchell, brother of Henderson E. Mitchell, Jr., and Clarence E. Mitchell. LOWRIMORE, SR., Roy
CHERAW, S.C. - Roy H. Lowrimore, Sr., 92, died Saturday, October 6, 2001, at a Cheraw, S.C., hospital. born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Calvin and Barzilla Sing Lowrimore. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, having served as a deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. Mr. Lowrimore was a W.W.II Army veteran.
Survivors are, wife of 73 years, Lillie Maude Hopkins Lowrimore, Cheraw, S.C.; son, Roy Lowrimore, Jr., Hickory, N.C.; daughter, Norma L. Lundy, Darlington, S.C.; daughter, Artha L. Sompayrac, Hanahan, S.C.; sister, Mary Chavis, Murrells Inlet, S.C.; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Michael Sompayrac, four brothers, and six sisters.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2001, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, S.C.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2001, in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, S.C.

MAHONEY, Elizabeth
Elizabeth DuBose Porcher Mahoney, 93, artist and musician, died Saturday, October 6, 2001, at a hospital in Charleston. born April 30, 1908, in Porcher's Bluff, S.C., she was the youngest child of Philip Gendron Porcher and Mary Frances Porcher (nee Cords). She attended the College of Charleston and was a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation she taught in the Aiken and Columbia school system. She became the Curator of Education at the Charleston Museum. During WWII, she was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and other war efforts. She married her husband, J.J. Mahoney, in 1949, and together they created a successful automatic vending machine business operating in several states. Her husband J.J., many nieces and nephews survive her. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday with visitation until 8:00 p.m. at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1520 Rifle Range Road. A Requiem Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Stella Maris Catholic Church, Sullivan's Island. A reception will be held at the family's home following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mother Teresa's Order, 335 East 145th Street, Bronx, NY 10451.

DAILEY, Jason
The relatives and friends of Jason Eric Dailey are invited to attend his funeral service this afternoon at 4:00 o'clock in Salem Baptist Church, Summerville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 3:00 o'clock until service time this afternoon.
