KINGSTREE - Elizabeth Mixon Brockington died Sunday, October 14, 2001, at her residence after an illness.
Mrs. Brockington was born in Sumter, S.C., a daughter of the late Oscar and Betty Guerry Mixon. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Columbia College, taking business courses and choir. She was a secretary for many years, pianist for Millwood United Methodist Church for many years, a member of Three Rivers Society and a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church, where she was very active in the Kindergarten class.
Surviving is her husband, John David Brockington of Kingstree.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2001, in the Kingstree United Methodist Church with burial in the Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at the residence, 310 Singleton Ave., Kingstree, S.C.

Mrs. Bottoms was born October 4, 1940 in Thomasville, Georgia a daughter of the late Joseph William and Lucimae Callahan Alligood. She was a graduate of North Charleston High School and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC.
Surviving are her husband Harold Thomas Bottoms of North Charleston, her sons; Harold Thomas Bottoms, Jr. of Huger, SC and Michael Joseph Bottoms of Ladson, SC; a daughter, Robin B. Seay of Summerville, SC and a sister, Frances Holliday of Charleston, SC and three grandchildren.

RISHER, JR., William
William W. Risher, II, 72, died on Thursday, October 11, on Kiawah Island, S.C. born in Charleston to Viola Henderson Wilbert and the late William W. Risher. He was a graduate of the Citadel and received his masters from the University of Maryland. Mr. Risher served his country as a Lt. in the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Comptroller for the U.S. Federal Government. Mr. Risher was also a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church. He is survived by his mother, Viola Henderson Wilbert of Orlando, Fla.; son William Risher and a daughter, Harriet Risher, both of Columbia, S.C., and a sister, Barbara Risher Smith of Orlando, Fla.
