CAMPBELL, Eulala
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Eulala Elizabeth Bobbitt Campbell, 89, formerly of Keystone Heights, Fla., and Pineville, S.C., died Friday, October 12, 2001, in an Asheville, N.C., hospital.
born August 3, 1912, in Franklin, Va., she was the daughter of Thomas Howell Bobbitt and Carrie Virginia Sears. She graduated from Barium Springs High School, Statesville, N.C., in 1930. She studied nursing at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, D.C.
She was the widow of Thomas Elliot Campbell, Captain U.S. Army Air Corp who died September 17, 1949. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ellen H. Bobbitt of Pineville, S.C.; sisters, Gladys Dantzler of Manning, S.C.; Dorothy Lash of Camp Springs, Md.; four daughters, Nancy Knowles of Hampton, Va.; Darlene Helman of West Chester, Pa.; Carol Gaff and Gini Post of Black Mountain, N.C.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
She attended St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain, N.C. A memorial service will be held at the church on October 27, 2001. The Reverend Beth Darling will officiate. Burial will be in Keystone Heights, Fla., at a later date. The family will receive friends after the service.

McCONNELL, W. Wilson

Mr. McConnell was born in Andrews, S.C., the son of Robert Dick McConnell and Leila Forbes McConnell. He was owner of McConnell Pole Company. He was a member of West Ashley Southern Methodist Church, Franklin Lodge #96, Scottish Rite and Omar Shrine Temple.
He is survived by his wife of Charleston; one daughter, Sharon M. Moser of Charleston; one son, Mario W. McConnell of Atlantic Beach, N.C.; two sisters, Janet M. Brandt of Charleston, S.C., and Anna M. Morris of Andrews, S.C.; one brother, Charles R. McConnell of Andrews, S.C., and five grandchildren.

FARMER, Minnie
Minnie Pauline Tune Farmer, 91, of the Lebanon Community, died Monday in an Edgefield nursing home.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will be in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
Mrs. Farmer was born June 16, 1910, in St. Clair County, Alabama, a daughter of James Tune and Evie Upton Tune. She is the widow of Joe Stewart Farmer. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jolene Harrill.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Ellen Williams of Neeses; two sons, James Norman Farmer of Greenwood and Roy Leland Farmer of Macedonia; and seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Lorena Cleveland Staples, 78, of Ridgeville, SC died October 14, 2001 at her residence.

Mrs. Staples was born October 5, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Koss D. Cleveland and Dessa Smith Cleveland. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Rutledge of Ridgeville, SC and J.D. Rutledge of Round-O, SC, a brother, Woody Cleveland of Lakeside, California, three sisters, Evelyn Cowart, Mary Owens and Jackie Butts, all of Cottageville, SC, 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Anna Marie Young, 92, of Harleyville, SC, died October 14, 2001 at her residence.

Mrs. Young was born March 16, 1909 in Oolitic, Indiana, a daughter of the late August Mack and Anna Sohn Mack. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Henry V. Young of Camden, SC, a sister, Joyce Smith of Harleyville, SC, 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

William Henry Morris, 84, formerly of Augusta, Georgia, died October 13, 2001 at The Franke Home of Mt. Pleasant.
