WROBEL, Evalee
Evalee "Lee" Sayre Wrobel, 74, widow of Walter J. Wrobel, of Summerton, S.C., died Sunday, October 21, 2001, in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock, Tuesday, at the graveside in Florence National cemetery. Arrangements were made at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL.
A native of Evans, W.Va., she was the daughter of Atho C. and Caroline Castro Sayer.
She is survived by her sister, Meg Sanders of Columbus, Ohio, and her sister-in-law, Laura Wrobel of Mt. Pleasant, as well as several nieces and nephews.
DILLON, Mary
Entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2001, Mary Emma Gates Dillon, widow of Brigadier General Edward J. Dillon, USMC (Ret.) Mrs. Dillon was a Charleston resident since 1958. Mrs. Mary Emma Dillon was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., September 3, 1910, the daughter of John Samuel Gates and Gertrude Pacey Gates. She was a member of the Charleston County Realtors Association and was a retired real estate agent with the Dillon Agency. Mrs. Dillon was very active with the Navy Relief Society.
Surviving are her son, Edward G. Dillon of Reston, Va.; her daughter, Margaret D. Mauch of Prairie du Sac, Wisc.; five grandchildren, Simon T. Dillon of Rockport, Mass., Grant A. Mauch of Minneapolis, Minn., Gregory E. Mauch of Madison, Wisc., Geoffrey D. Mauch of Prairie du Sac, Wisc., and Gretchen M. Mauch of Prairie du Sac, Wisc. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Megan and Zachary Dillon of Rockport, Mass. Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by Edward J. Dillon, former Charleston County Civil Defense Director.

Katherine E. McDonald, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2001, at her home. She was born in Summerton, S.C. She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Frank; two sons, Patrick and Michael, both of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Mary Catherine Peterson, of Spokane, Wash.; one brother, Leroy Osborne of Sharpsburg, Ga.; two sisters, Eleanor Odom of Florence, S.C., and Carolyn Hammond of Newberry, S.C., and one grandchild. Surviving are his two sons, John M. Siegling and his wife Sandy of Charleston, SC and David R. Siegling and his wife Pat of Seminole, FL; a brother, Hugh M. Rutledge of Newport News, VA; two granddaughters, Camille Siegling Bowdoin and her husband Frank of Charleston, SC and Linda Siegling Kelly and her husband Sean of Jacksonville, Fl; two great-grandsons, Kyle Bowdoin and John Austin Bowdoin.

Mrs. Rabon was born April 1, 1921 in Camden, SC, the daughter of Gilliam B. DeBruhl and Annis Martin DeBruhl. A graduate of Camden High School and the South Carolina State Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Rabon served along with her husband who pastored many churches in South Carolina and was member of Wando Woods Baptist Church in North Charleston.
Surviving are three sons, Matt Rabon, II of Charleston, SC, Tim and Sherry Rabon of Charleston, SC and Phil and Sherrie Rabon of Cayce, SC; one daughter, Mary R. and Ken Elligson of Snow Hill, Md.; one brother, Reverend Bill DeBruhl of Travelers Rest, SC, Eleven grandchildren and families, one great grandson, nieces, nephews and other family members include Patty Schaffer and Dee Novy both of Charleston, S.C.
