Watkins Wilkinson Elliott, 68, of Isle of Palms and formerly of Annandale, VA, husband of Shelva Joan Copeland Elliott, died at his home on Monday, October 29, 2001. Mr. Elliott was born May 5, 1933 in Oxford, NC, to the late Zebulon Vance Elliott and Lonie Elizabeth Wilkinson Elliott. He retired from Meloy Laboratories. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Isle of Palms.
The relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, 2PM Wednesday, October 31st, at First United Methodist Church of Isle of Palms.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, a brother, William Samuel Elliott of Hopewell, VA, four sisters, Zora Isabell Gandy of Smithfield, VA, Lucia Shearin of Creedmore, NC, Marguerite West of Oxford, NC, and Maxine Ball of Oxford, NC, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Sheri Lynn Elliott.

O'CONNOR, Sarah
Sarah C. O'Connor, 93, formally of Charleston, died Sunday, October 28, at her residence in Lexington, S.C. born in Charleston to the late W.J. and Annie Madden Belding. She was the widow of John Joseph O'Connor. Mrs. O'Connor was a graduate of the Charleston Catholic Schools. Her son, Joseph Michael O'Connor of Eliot, Maine, two daughters, Catherine O'Connor Church, and Rebecca O'Connor Looby, both of Lexington, S.C., and four grandchildren, all survive Mrs. O'Connor. Graveside services will be held, 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, in Holy Cross cemetery.

Mrs. Puckhaber was born June 4, 1905, in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of Edwin Bell Chaplin and Minnie Steinmeyer Chaplin. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, and retired from the Best Western Motel. She graduated from Memminger High School. She was a lifetime member of Elizabeth Temple #2, Pythian Sisters and member of Past Chiefs Club. Former member of Ladies Auxiliary Charleston Rifle Club and was active in bowling leagues.
She is survived by her son, H. Fred Puckhaber, Jr., and his wife, Joan of Charleston, S.C.; two granddaughters, Debra Anderson of Ozark, Ala., and Marge Puckhaber of Charleston, S.C.; three grandsons, Herman, David and Willy Puckhaber, all of Charleston, S.C.; six great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, 17 step-great-grandchildren and several step-great-great-grandchildren.
