WALKER, Charles
Entered into eternal rest on Sunday evening, October 28, 2001 at his James Island residence, Charles Wesley Walker.
The relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 1, 2001 at the Church of the Nativity at 1061 Folly Road.
The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross cemetery on James Island.

The Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Walker was born Wednesday, October 7, 1936 in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Harvey and Sally Walker.
Mr. Walker was Catholic and an active member of the Church of the Nativity.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 46 years, Cynthia Elizabeth Walker.
He was the devoted father of Sharon Clair, Cindy Walker, Fran Lingenfelter, Maria Lugo, Wesley Walker and Travis Walker; three son-in-laws, Michael Clair, Barry Lingenfelter and David Lugo all of Charleston, SC.
Survivors also include seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Harvey Walker and Richard Walker; five sisters, Ophelia Balentine, Frances Walker, Naomi Hagan, Patsy Arceneaux and Dian Cease.
Many relatives and friends will morn the loss of this spiritually devoted family man.

Essie B. Davis Felder, 82, of Summerville, SC, died Monday, October 29, 2001 at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday morning, November 1, 2001 at 11 o'clock.
Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown, SC at 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Felder was born on November 14, 1918 in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Earl Davis, Sr. and Lizzie Stalvey Davis.
She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Winehart H. Felder of Summerville; two daughters, Beverly Bouchette of Rowesville, SC and Sherry Stephens of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Cecil Altman and Beryl Lewis both of Conway, SC; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

LILES, III, William
William Carroll Liles, III the infant son of William Carroll and Dana (Miller) Liles died Tuesday, October 30, 2001.
William was born with his sisters, Caitlyn and Madison September 28, 2001, in Charleston, SC.
William's extended family includes his grandparents: James and Barbara Miller, Jr., Lorraine Morgan, Ken Morgan and his wife Linda, William C. Liles, Sr. and his wife Suncha; great-grandparents: Mary Jane Morgan, Suzanne Short, Michael and Marie Lazzo; great-great-grandmother, Ann Lazzo; three aunts: Kelly McAbee, Kathy Heape and Kim Allen; and uncle James Miller, III.
A Mass of Angels will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2001 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, 2001 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a wake service beginning at 7 p.m. at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd.

The funeral services of George Sims "Stick" Witham were held Tuesday in The First (Scots) Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his mother, wife, and sister.

ALLRED, Benjamin
Benjamin E. Allred, Jr., 75, of Awendaw, died Sunday, October 28, 2001 in local health care facility.
The memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 o'clock Saturday, November 3, 2001 in Ocean Grove United Methodist Church, Highway 17, Awendaw.

A retired federal agent with Naval Investigative Service, he was born February 12, 1926 in Burlington, NC, the son of Benjamin E. Allred, Sr. and Swana Buckner Allred.
He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina and was a retired Commander, U. S. Navy Reserve.
He was a member of Ocean Grove United Methodist and was formerly a Deacon and Sunday school director at Awendaw First Baptist Church.
He was the widower of Caroline Montgomery Allred who preceded him in death August 15, 2001.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael P. and Claudia Allred of Warrensburg, Missouri; Benjamin E. and Melissa Allred, III, of Smithfield, VA; John V. and Cindy Allred of Awendaw; Charles M. and Nina Allred of Sandy Hook, CT; and Thomas F. Allred, MD of Spartanburg.
His sister, Helen Frink of Jacksonville, NC, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
