JEFFERSON — Earline Hopkins Barrett, 87, died March 15, 2012.
A memorial service will be held 1 P.M., March 17, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Barrett was born May 11, 1924 in Rock Hill, S.C., a daughter of the late Julius and Essie Boone Hopkins. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Twin Pines Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Earline was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jasper Barrett; and also 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Surviving are two sons, John S. (Jo) Barrett of Greenwood, S.C. and Mikey E. (Barbara) Barrett of Mt. Croghan; one daughter Essie Mae Barrett Hayes of Jefferson; also nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren .
Memorials may be made to Twin Pines Freewill Baptist Church, 33 Twin Pines Church Rd. Jefferson, SC 29718 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Allie Funderburk Hendrix
PAGELAND — Allie Funderburk Hendrix, 86, died March 13, 2012.
A graveside servisce will be held 2 P.M., March 16, at Providence Baptist Church cemetery. The family held visitation March 15, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hendrix was born November 3, 1925 in Pageland, SC, and grew up in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Community. She was a daughter of the late Eghert Howell and Myrtle Evans Funderburk. Allie was a former sales clerk for many years, and retired from Challenger Electric Plant in Pageland. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Allie was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Sammy W. Hendrix; and two sisters and five brothers.
Surviving are a son Carroll W. (Kim) Hendrix; and special friends Martha (Ronnie) Kearns all of Pageland; also a number of nieces and nephews.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home served the Hendrix Family.
Timothy Webster Jr.
CHESTERFIELD — Timothy Webster Jr., 83, died March 13, 2012.
Funeral services were held March 15, at Hopewell Baptist Church, Chesterfield with internment following in the church cemetery. The family held visitation March 14, at the Funeral Home.
Webster was born March 2, 1929 in Cumberland County, N.C. a son of the late Timothy and Elizabeth Koonce Webster. He was a retired diesel mechanic with Kenan Transport Co. and a U. S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Webster was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and watching football on T.V.
In addition to his parents, Timothy was also preceded in death by his wife, Jo Lisenby Webster and 2 brothers Lacy Webster and Walter Webster.
Surviving are a son Tony (Michelle) Webster; daughter Cynthia W. (Sammy) Jones; four grandchildren, Carrie (Rob) Rhyne, Kelley Jones, Cole Webster, and Garrett Webster; three great grandchildren Jade Rhyne, Jorja Rhyne, and Chase Jones; one brother Robert L. Webster all of Chesterfield.

Linda McFarland Winburn
Linda McFarland Winburn, 67, died Friday, May 18, 2012. The family received friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw. A funeral service followed at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. born in Hartsville, Ms. Winburn was a daughter of the late Laurie and Mamie Perkins McFarland. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed the company of her cat “Sam.”

Mr. Timmy G. Miles, 51, died Monday, May 21, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at New Life For Jesus Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home in Chesterfield. Mr. Miles was born Aug. 17, 1960, in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Perry Edward Miles and Omega Melton Miles Grooms.
Maurice Hunter
Mr. T. Maurice Hunter, 80, died Monday, May 21, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at First Baptist Church in Pageland. Interment will follow in the Patrick cemetery in Patrick. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home in Chesterfield. Mr. Hunter was born June 15, 1931, in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Henry Theodore Hunter and Flora Belle Hunter.

Mr. Reynolds was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Lancaster, a son of James Reynolds and the late Della Wright Reynolds. He was an electrician.

Elizabeth Brigman Teal, 86, passed away March 14, 2012, at Azalealand Nursing Home, Savannah, Ga. A memorial service will be held at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens on May 27 at 2 p.m. Elizabeth was born in Chesterfield and lived in the Teal’s Mill section of Chesterfield County until 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan M. Teal; parents, John Jacob and Bertha Purvis Brigman; sisters, Annie Brigman, Margie Parker, and Betty.

Mrs. Rosa Lee Avery Ratliff passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. A funeral service was held Saturday, May 12, at 3 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church in Chesterfield with the Rev. Charles Malloy, Pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Mrs. Ratliff was born on Feb. 18, 1950, in Chesterfield, to the late Anglish “Buddy” Avery and Rosena Chapman Avery.

Mr. Roger Steven “Bay Bay” Little, 42, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m. at the Flemming Funeral Chapel in Chesterfield. Interment followed in the Chesterfield Community cemetery. Mr. Little was born Nov. 19, 1969, in Chesterfield, to the late Pamela Little and Robert Blackwell. He received Christ and became a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Chesterfield.

Mr. Ratliff was born Jan. 17, 1945, in Chesterfield, a son of Lois Beatrice Oliver Ratliff and the late John Daniel “Doll” Ratliff.

Mr. Short was born March 13, 1952, in Chesterfield, a son of the late Allie Mae Short Hoffman and Albert Eugene Donahue.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw. born in Lilesville, N.C., Ms. Flowers was a daughter of the late Dewey S. and Fay Hanna Luther. She was a member of Wallace Baptist Church in Wallace. She was retired from Delta Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, a son, Ronnie Kemp Burr, a brother, James Luther.

Doris Jean McCaig Chapman, 80, died Monday, June 18, 2012. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Don Childers and the Rev. Joseph Morgan officiated with burial in the Society Hill Latter-day Saints cemetery. Mrs. Chapman, widow of Luther Chapman, was born in Amarilla, Texas, a daughter of the late John R. and Florence O’Neal McCaig.
