Mrs. Frances L. Gaston Howze, 78
CATAWBA – The funeral service for Mrs. Frances L. Gaston Howze of 5047 Theodore Road, Catawba, will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 13, at Mt. Vernon AME Zion Church in Fort Lawn with the Rev. Edwin Ferguson officiating and the Rev. Titus Thorn delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Howze died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at her home. She was 78.

Mr. M. Douglas Middleton, 58
IRMO – A celebration of life service for Mr. M. Douglas “Doug” Middleton of Irmo will be held at noon on Saturday, April 11, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in St. Mark's Episcopal Churchyard, Pinewood, S.C. Mr. Middleton died Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Mrs. Mary Evans Moore, 61
CHESTER – Mrs. Mary Evans Moore of 301 Ashford St., Chester died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Chester Regional Medical Center. She was 61.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by King's Funeral Home, 135 cemetery St., Chester.

Ira S. Levister, Jr.
GREAT FALLS: Mr. Ira Smith Levister, Jr. 81, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at his home.
Funeral services will be private.
Mr. Levister was born December 2, 1927 in Georgia, a son of the late Ira Smith and Janie V. Keever Levister. He was the widower of Mildred Ramsey Levister.
Surviving are his daughters, Martha Levister of Great Falls and Annette Sims of Lancaster, SC; brothers, Bobby Levister of Graysville, TN and Felton Levister of Chester, SC; a sister, Darlina Berry of Butler, Georgia; and grandchildren.

Mr. Donald Lee Bush Sr., 53
CHESTER The funeral for Mr. Donald Lee Bush Sr. of 837 Yarborough Road, formerly of Rock Hill, was conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Barron Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Eddie Mathis officiated and burial followed in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Bush, 53, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at his home.

Mrs. Audrey Ann
Mrs. Audrey Ann Patsy Price Boyd, 68
ROCK HILL - The funeral for Mrs. Audrey Ann Patsy Price Boyd of 1286 Springwood Lane will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. The Rev. Gary Adkins will officiate and burial will follow in Laurelwood cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, 68, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A native of Chester, she was a daughter of the late William and Christine Lemmons Price. A member of Harvest Ministries, Mrs. Boyd worked as a waitress at Anna J's, Colony and Park Inn prior to her retirement.

Mrs. Cora Lee Brasington Blackwell, 64
FORT LAWN - A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cora Lee Brasington Blackwell of 678 Western Acres was conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home. The Rev. Hampton C. Hinson officiated and burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mrs. Blackwell, 64, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at her home.
born in Lancaster on July 19, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Lee Roy Brasington and Jessie Pate Brasington. She was retired from Springs Industries.

Mr. Tommie Mack Mitchell
BLAIR - Mr. Tommie Mack Mitchell of Harden Road died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in Blair.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Gail Mitchell Worthy, 3348 State Highway 215 North, Blair.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Christopher Kings Funeral Home, 703 Old York Road, Chester.

Mrs. Harriett Eloise Roddey Bagley, 79
CHESTER - Graveside services for Mrs. Harriett Eloise Roddey Bagley, formerly of 102-B Smith St., will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 2, in Chester Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clint Davis officiating.
Mrs. Bagley, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.
A native of Chester, she was a daughter of the late Belven Roddey and Juanita Dunn Roddey. A graduate of Chester High School, Mrs. Bagley was a homemaker and belonged to Chester Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Sadie Ruth Barber Buckson
ROCK HILL – The funeral for Mrs. Sadie Ruth Barber Buckson of 215 Watts St. will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Rock Hill. Bishop B.R. Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in Harmony United Methodist Church cemetery, 5462 Harmony Church Road, Edgemoor..
Mrs. Buckson died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Mrs. Mary B. Davis
CHESTER The funeral for Mrs. Mary B. Davis will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 4, at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Fairfield County. The Rev. J. E. Darby will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.
A native of Fairfield County, she was a daughter of the late John A. Brice and the late Mary Chisholm. Mrs. Davis was a faithful member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church until her health declined.

Mr. Johnny B. Thompson, 79
CHARLOTTE Mr. Johnny B. Thompson, 79, of 3344 Barringer Drive, formerly of the Thompson Quarter community of Sharon, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at his home.
Arrangements will be announced later by King's Funeral Home, 4000 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte.

Mr. Sutherland, 80, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville.

WINNSBORO – Graveside services for Mr. David Junior Ward were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, in First United Methodist Church cemetery with the Rev. Bud Boatwright officiating.
Mr. Ward, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Dorn V.A. Hospital.

Mr. Hubert 'Sonny' Kerr, 82
RICHBURG – Mr. Hubert "Sonny" Kerr, 82, of 4009 Wylies Mill Road died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The family will receive friends at the home.

Mr. John Richard Wilkes, 79
CHESTER – Mr. John Richard Wilkes, 79, formerly of Mill Street, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Uni-Health Acute Care in Rock Hill.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the chapel of King's Funeral Home, 135 cemetery St., Chester, with the Rev. Christine McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.
He was of the Baptist faith and attended the public schools of Chester County. He was retired from Winthrop University.

Infant Robert Jeremiah Williams
CHESTER – Infant Robert Jeremiah Williams, son of Robert Lee Williams Jr. and Shanikitia Woods Williams of 899 Hilltop Trailer Park Lot 10 passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
A service of love was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at the chapel of King's Funeral Home, 135 cemetery St., Chester, with Minister Phillip Chapman officiating. Burial followed in Love and Charity Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Lessie L. Darby Davis, 91
MARYLAND – Mrs. Lessie L. Darby Davis, 91, formerly of the Wilksburg Community of Chester County, passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Zion Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church cemetery with Dr. Bill Stringfellow Jr. officiating.
born in Chester County on Sept. 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Darby and Eutrice Sanders Darby. She was the widow of the late James H. Davis and was the twin sister of the late Bessie Darby.

Mr. Ernest Floyd Cameron, 68
CHESTER – Services for Mr. Ernest Floyd Cameron will be private.
Mr. Cameron, 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Chester Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 15, 1944.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Smith Cameron; a son, David Cameron of Chester; and two sisters, Audrey Putman of Brattonsville and Brenda Leopard of Fort Mill.
Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, was in charge of arrangements.
