George A. Woolridge
GREENWOOD — George A. Woolridge, 71, of 302 Lindsey Ave., Greenwood, husband of Helen Blair Woolridge, died Thursday, September 27, 2001 at Self Memorial Hospital.
born in Bradley, he was a son of George and Ella Patton Woolridge.
He was a retired truck driver for PYA Monarch of Greenville and a steward with Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church in Troy.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Sandra B. Williams of Hodges; two sisters, Annie Mae Woolridge of Utica, N.Y. and Viola “Nettie” Woolridge of Bronx, N.Y. and two grandchildren.
The family is at the home.
Services will be announced by Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc., which is in charge.
Donald Kelly Ray
born in Conway, SC, on Aug. 28, 1923

Donald Ray, age 79, of Hwy 905, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Conway Medical Center.
Mr. Ray was born in Conway, a son of the late Richard Snow and Lula Graham Ray. He was a member of Langston Baptist Church where he was Deacon, former minister of music and was on the building committee. Mr. Ray was also instrumental in getting the T.V. ministry started. He was owner/operator of T&R; Locksmith and was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife Brittie T. Ray of Conway; one daughter Susan Anderson and her husband Robert of Conway; one brother Richard Ray of Conway and two grandchildren, Shara Anderson and Jonathan Anderson both of Aynor.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Langston Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.

Vivian Elva Causey, age 88, died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Fayetteville, NC.Miss Causey was born in Horry County, the daughter of the late William Francis and Laurie Hardee Causey. She was a member of Waccamaw Pentecostal Holiness Church of Conway. Miss Causey was predeceased by a sister, Willmina Raymes.Surviving are three nephews; Rollin Raymes and his wife Jennie of Fayetteville, NC, Billy Raymes and his wife Peggy of Stedman, NC and Rick Raymes and his wife Lyn of Fayetteville, NC, two nieces; Earline Wiggins and her husband J.T. and Janice Tyndall and her husband John both of Fayetteville, NC and many great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at Waccamaw Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating. Ollie Mae Edge Russ, age 74, of Hemingway Chapel Rd., died Friday, April 28, 2006 at Conway Manor after an illness.
born May 14, 1931 in Clarendon, NC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Letha Harrelson Edge. Mrs. Russ started her career with Belk Department Stores as a buyer and later was the owner/operator of Carolina Instrument and Cori's in Conway. She was a member of North Conway Baptist Church where she formerly sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Mrs. Russ also had been a member of the Literacy Council in Hampton, SC. She was predeceased by a brother, Earl Edge. The family of Mrs. Russ would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Conway Manor, Dr. John Wilson, Jr., and the residents of Noel Villa.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Joseph H. Martha E. Sanders, age 69, of Old Tram Road died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at her residence following an illness.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Conway, the daughter of the late John Christopher and Beulah Martin Cooper. She was a retired executive secretary with 14 years of service from Elvis Welding Services in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was a member of South Conway Original Freewill Baptist Church where she was involved with the Ladies Auxillary and the Senior Saints. Mrs. Sanders was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed the spring time and working in the garden and yard. Mrs. Sanders was predeceased by five brothers, John Henry, J.W., James Frank, Don O. and Scarborough Cooper; one sister, Evelyn Johnson.
Surviving are; one son, William Teddy Sanders and his wife Karen Marie of Conway, SC; four daughters, Marcia S. Small and her husband Herbert A., Martha J. Jordan and her husband Randall, Melinda S. Cannon and her husband Franklin Wayne, Nancy L. Goude and her husband Billy all of Conway, SC.; eleven grandchildren, Stacy Sanders, Jennifer Martin, Caitlin Sanders, Derrick R. Jordan, Lindsey R. Joseph E. Tindall

Conway - Joseph E. "Joey" Tindall, age 52 died at Roper St. Francis Hospital Friday, April 21, 2006.
Mr. Tindall was born in Conway, the son of Joseph B. and Barbara "Bobbie" Hucks Tindall. He attended Bethany Bible Chapel. Mr. Tindall retired from Santee Cooper after 28 years of service, and was a member and past Master of the Conway Masonic Lodge #381 AFM. He enjoyed all sports, including softball and golf.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Conway are: two daughters, Wendy Leigh Meares and her husband Macand Heather Currie and her husband Neil, all of Conway; two brothers, Mike Tindall and his wife Bonnie and Ricky Tindall and his wife Nancy, all of Conway; and one aunt, Hazel Hardee of Spartanburg, SC.
Memorial services with Masonic Rites will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Bethany Bible Chapel with the Rev. Dave Rickert officiating.

Mr. Singleton was born in Conway, a son of the late Joe D. and Versie Duncan Singleton. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Singleton and Lewis Singleton. Mr. Singleton was a member, deacon, and Sunday School Teacher at Good Hope Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, he was employed by B & M Tire Service.

Singleton of Conway; one son, Glenn Singleton and his wife Linda Hardee Singleton of Conway; one daughter, Wanda Singleton and her husband, Mark Singleton of Conway; four grandchildren, Dana Meadows, Christopher Singleton, Lindsay Singleton, and Corey Singleton; one great grandchild, Fletcher Meadows; three brothers, Winston Singleton and his wife JoAnne and Dwayne Singleton and his wife Carolyn, all of Conway and James Singleton and his wife Perlita of Lexington, SC; Four sisters, Laura Hardee of Conway, Elda Rackley of Myrtle Beach, Bettie Bennett of Galveston, Texas, Ninaree Holmes and her husband Leo of Eddington, NC.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Raymond Ganem; daughter, Barbara Reynolds and husband Doug of Naples, FL, Leslie Mitchell of Bowie, MD and Janice Krogen and husband, Steve of Crofton, MD; son, Raymond Ganem of Warren, OH; Gloria was blessed with four granddaughters, Sarah Keso, Emily Hoovler and her husband, Rick, Jessica Keso and Elyse Mitchell and two step grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Krogen.
