JoAnn Martin Milligan, age 60, wife of the late Gene Crosby Milligan, of Highway 905, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Conway Medical Center.
Mrs. Milligan was born in Horry County a daughter of the late Harvey Boyd and Dorothy Martin. She was predeceased by two brothers J.D. Martin and Vernon Martin.
Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy Martin and her husband Milton and Mary Clyde and her husband Ryan all of Conway and Julie Collins and her husband Mike of Florence; three brothers, George Martin of GA, Harvey Martin and Glenn Martin both of Conway; two sisters, Marilyn Winnager of Columbia and Geneva Johnson of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Charles Martin, Christina Martin, Seth Michael Collins, Skylar Brent Collins, Logan Grimsley and Gavin Grimsley.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Mike Kinlaw officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

James C. Connell
born in Kershaw County, SC on Sep. 9, 1936
Departed on Apr. 28, 2004 and resided in Murrells Inlet, SC.
James C. Connell, age 67 of Indigo Creek formerly of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
born September 9, 1936 in Kershaw County, SC, he was the son of the late James C. SR, and Lizzy Mobley Connell. Mr. Connell was the retired owner of Clay’s Construction Co. in Columbia. He was a member of Socastee United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Kelly Connell; sons, James A. “Tony” Connell of Myrtle Beach and Rhett Anders of Columbia; daughters, Debbie Markantie, Scarlett Lawrimore and Robin Christopher all of Myrtle Beach and Sandy Robinson of Enaclaw, WA; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and sister, Betty Rawlings of Dayton, OH.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday at Hillcrest cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00, Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Lisa Ann Eberle
born in Baltimore, MD on Oct. 2, 1959
Departed on Apr. 26, 2004 and resided in Surfside Beach, SC.
Lisa Ann Pittore Eberle, age 44 of Dusty Trail Lane died Monday, April 26, 2004 at Conway Medical Center.
born October 2, 1959 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Fred and Joyce Johns Snyder. Mrs. Eberle was a homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Murrells Inlet are her husband, Peter Eberle; grandmother, Liz Johns of MD; son, Bradley Klecha of Myrtle Beach; stepson, Joseph Eberle of Surfside Beach; step daughters, Melanie and Jan Eberle of CT; brothers, Louis and Brad Pittore of Myrtle Beach; step brothers, Fred Snyder of Eneorce, SC and Bill Snyder of Abbeville, SC; sister, Stacy Iamele of MD; step sister, Valerie Snyder of CA and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Timberlake Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hilllcrest cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00, Tuesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Frances Adams Skipper
born in Conway, SC on Oct. 1, 1943
Departed on Apr. 27, 2004 and resided in Conway, SC.
Frances Adams Skipper, age 60, wife of Richard Earl Skipper, Sr., of Academy Drive, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at her residence following an illness.
Mrs. Skipper was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Ralph Waldo and Ruby Mae Larrimore Adams. She was co-owner of Skipper's Body Shop for 37 years and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Conway are one son, Ricky Skipper and his wife Lisa of Conway and one daughter Teri Skipper Carter and her husband Kelly of Conway; two brothers, Ralph W. Adams and his wife Cheryl of Myrtle Beach and John Adams and his wife Diane of Conway; four grandchildren, Jake and Adam Carter and Allie and Trae Skipper.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Eddie Altman and Grant Larrimore officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Sheila Martin
born in Ft. Benning, GA on Feb. 19, 1965
Departed on Apr. 25, 2004 and resided in Conway, SC.
Sheila Martin, age 39, of Knotty Branch Road, died Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Mrs. Martin was born at Ft. Benning, GA, a daughter of Lewis Franklin Page and Carol Rucker Wilks. She was employed with Horry County Schools and was predeceased by her step-father Elmer Lee Wilks.
Surviving in addition to her father and stepmother Regina C. Page of Huntsville, AL and her mother of Conway are her husband, Hubert "Bert" Martin of Conway; one son Nicholas "Nicky" Martin of Conway; four sisters, Deloris Wilks of Louisa, KY, Cheri Ganeous and her husband Tony of Loris, Terri Clark and her husband George "Rick" of Conway and Leslie Martin and her husband Craig of Aynor; one brother Charles Page of Huntsville, AL; five nieces, Rhene' Childers, Brandi Barnhill, Tina Johnson, Kara Nennie and Amber Martin; three nephews, Justin Martin, Adam Nennie and Griffin Woodward and two great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Marty Cox officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Kimberly O'Hara
born on Jan. 5, 1961
Departed on Apr. 24, 2004 and resided in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Myrtle Beach - Kimberley S. O'Hara, age 43, of Six Lakes Drive, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Conway Medical Center.
born January 5, 1961 in Houston, Georgia, she was the daughter of George and Dee Edwards Smith.
Mrs O'Hara was a Cosmetologist at Mar-Den Salon and was a member of Grand Strand Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and wife.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Surfside beach are; her husband of 19 years, Kenny; a son, Ryan Kelly O'Hara and a daughter Katelyn Eve O'Hara both of Myrtle beach; grandfather, Charles J. Smith of Abbeville, SC; a brother, George Smith, Jr. of Surfside beach and a sister Wendy Smith Blythe of Ashville, NC.
A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Grand Strand Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Monday, April 26, 2004 at the church.
Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Sumpter Reginald Garren

S.R. “Reggie” Garren, age 75 of Poinsett Rd, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 at his home.
born March 29, 1928 in Conway, he was the son of the late Bertrand C. and Edna Earle Dunn Garren. Mr. Garren was a graduate of Wolford College. He had been a teacher at Woodruff Elementary, Principle at Myrtle Beach Elementary and Guidance Counselor at Myrtle Beach High School retiring in 1983 after 30 years of service with the school system. Mr. Garren also had been a realtor with Hoyt Richardson Realty and owner of Sea Turtle Antiques in Myrtle Beach. He was a past member of the Myrtle Beach Rotary Club. Mr. Garren was a member of First United Methodist of Myrtle Beach where he was a member of the choir and the M.D. Moore Sunday School class. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn
Tompkins Garren, brother, A.B. Garren and sister, Sarah G. Wilkins.
Surviving are his son, Thomas Garren of Myrtle Beach and sisters and their husbands, Myrna and Joseph James of Isle of Palms, Martha Sue and Bill Martin of Forest Park, Ga., Laura and Ben Johnson of Conway and Sylvia Garren of Myrtle Beach.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday t First United Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00, Saturday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Mary Judy Remerscheid

Mary Judy Marsh Remerscheid, age 61 of Sea Breeze Drive died Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
born March 6, 1942 in Hemingway, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edgar C. and Eleanor Owens Marsh. Mrs. Remerscheid was a homemaker.
Surviving are her loving husband, David Remerscheid; daughters, Joy Marie Remerscheid of Surfside Beach and her fiancée Richard E. Desso, II. and Heidi R. Davis and husband Larry of Conway; granddaughter, Anne Marie Roth of Conway and brother in law, Fred Remerscheid of Garden City Beach.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Thomas L. Panella

Thomas L. Panella, age 75, of Courtyard Drive, died Sunday, February 8, 2004 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Mr. Panella was born in Johnstown, PA, a son of the late Louis and Cecelia Reese Panella. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a US Army Veteran. Mr. Panella belonged to the Senior Center in Myrtle Beach and Senior Friends in Myrtle Beach. He was a member of the local and national AARP and was a baseball umpire and basketball referee.
Surviving are his wife Doucilia Panella of Conway; two sons, Thomas L. Panella, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Helmetta, NJ and Donald W. Panella and his wife Dorothy of Myrtle Beach; one daughter Caryn D'Jang and her husband Douglas of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Alma Luna and Geraldine Broxmeyer both of North Brunswick, NJ and two grandchildren Donald Panella and Dana Panella both of Myrtle Beach.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday from St. James Catholic Church with Father Rick Labrecque officiating.
Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with a prayer service beginning at 7:30PM.

Stephen Paul "Iceman" Spivey, age 44, of Cobblestone Lane, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Conway Medical Center.
Mr. Spivey was born in Loris, a son of Paul and Faye Spivey. He was a member of Forestbrook Baptist Church and was a US Navy Veteran where he served on the USS Forrestal CV59.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Conway are his wife, Tewanna H. Spivey of Conway; two daughters, Angela Hayes of Wilmington, NC and Christa Spivey of Conway; one brother Darryl Spivey of Conway; one sister Tracey Spivey of Conway; maternal grandmother Easie Carter of Loris; one grandaughter, Tearyll Winans of Wilmington, NC.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday from Forestbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Shriver officiating. Burial with military honors, will follow in Hillcrest cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
