Surfside Beach - Cynthia R. Lambe-Hubbard, nee: Cynthia Ann Rutherford passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
born March 6, 1956 in Fairbanks, Alaska, she was the beloved daughter of William and Jean Rutherford. Cindy was a graduate of Dell City High School in Oklahoma City, OK in 1974 and continued on to the University of Oklahoma. She finished at Horry Georgetown Tech College with her paralegal degree. She was associated with Cox Law Firm in Myrtle Beach, SC. Cindy was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Surfside Beach are daughter, Ashley Megan Lambe; brother, Allen C. Rutherford; grandson, Bradley Raymond Growden and husband, Rick Hubbard and step children, Billy and Ceylanta Hubbard. She also leaves her beloved calico cat "Miss Cookie".
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Friday at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.

GREENWOOD — Leroy Cartledge Sr., 64, of 119 Myrtle St., husband of Georgia Bell Turner Cartledge, died Sept. 19, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital.
born in Edgefield, he was a son of the late Fannie Collins. He was a superintendent for Kajima Construction Co. at Fuji Film.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Leroy Cartledge Jr. of Huntsville, Ala., Gregory Cartledge of Hinesville, Ga., and Samuel Cartledge of Augusta, Ga.; five daughters, Matilda Ann Frazier Brown of Columbia, Sherry Ann Barrett, Brenda Gail Tyson and Eleanor Louis, all of Lancaster, and Marsha Denise Cartledge of the home; two brothers, Bishop Louis Collins of Springfield, Mass., and Hubert “Bonnie” Ligon of Stanford, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 Friday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens by Bishop Gabriel E. Barrett, assisted by Minister Hampton Tyson, the Rev. Earl Owings and Pastor Alvin Deal.
Pallbearers are members of Kajima Construction.
Flower bearers are friends of the family.
Visitation is from 7-8 tonight at Parks Funeral Home.

Mrs. Duffie died Monday, September 17, 2001. born in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Kimberley L. and Louise H. Hartzog of Greenwood. She attended Randolph-Macon Women's College and graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill. She was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil W. Duffie, Jr. of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Mike Penland of Columbia; daughter, M. Page Duffie of Panama City, FL; a son, Virgil W. (Chip) Duffie, III of Columbia; a sister, Kimberley Snow of Santa Barbara, CA; and grand-children, Caroline L. Penland and Anna P. Penland of Columbia.

GREENWOOD — Julius Logan Sr., 74, of 340 Cokesbury Road, widower of Annie Lee Parks Logan, died Sept. 19, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital.
born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Timothy and Pearl Sims Logan. He was a retired plumber with Benjamin Plumbing and a former equipment operator with the S.C. Highway Department. He was a member and trustee of Friendship Baptist Church in Ninety Six.
Survivors include seven sons, Glenn Terry Logan, Rufus Lee Logan, Tony Bernard Logan and Mark Anthony Logan Sr., all of Greenwood, Herman Keith Logan and Jan Kendal Logan, both of Anderson and Dennis Logan of Camella, Ga.; a daughter, Helen Anita Logan of Greenwood; three brothers, Rufus Logan of Alexandria, Va., and Lafayette Logan and Russell Logan, both of Coronaca; a sister, Alice Logan of Coronaca; two grandchildren and a cousin reared in the home, David Campbell, Trevis Logan and Barry Parks; 39 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

GREENWOOD — Kenneth Ray “Wayne” Nimmons, of 210-A Taggart Ave., husband of Rosa Nimmons, died Sept. 18, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital.
born in Charleston, he was a son of Wodie Alston Nimmons and the late Eldrich Nimmons. He was a Navy veteran, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Norcross, Ga., and he attended Gospel Tabernacle Church of God and Christ.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Charleston; two daughters, Bridgette Nimmons of Charleston and Rachel Nimmons of Atlanta; three brothers, Robert “Blues” Nimmons of Atlanta, Leroy “Bishop” Nimmons of Charleston and Issac Nimmons of Los Angeles; and three sisters, Ozinea Knox of Rialti, Calif., and Peggy Johnson and Gloria Seabrook, both of Charleston.
Services will be conducted at 2 Saturday at Willow Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Knotts. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jose Leverette, Derrick Seabrook, Stacey Knox, Sevrin Seabrook, Robert Nimmons and Corey Gardner.
