GREENWOOD — Services for Mamie “Tit” Childs, of 208 Wesley Commons, will be conducted at 3 Wednesday at Glovers Chapel Baptist Church in McCormick County by the Rev. M. L. Taylor, assisted by the Rev. Amanda E. Drennon. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2.
Pallbearers are Keith Harrison, James Thomas, Carlos Dean, Henry Drennon, George Drennon, and Roosevelt Durant.

SALUDA — George E. Culbreath, 55, of 134 S. Bouknight Ferry Road, died Aug. 5, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Georgia T. Culbreath and John B. Lott. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his aunt and caretaker of the home, Fannie Tucker; two brothers, John Lott Jr. and Ernest Lott, both of Saluda; and two sisters, Lillie M. Tolbert and Ida Bosket, both of Saluda.
Services will be conducted at 1 Wednesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. Calvin Robinson. Burial is in the church cemetery.

CALHOUN FALLS — Edward Lee Kilgore, 48, of 4785 Highway 72 W., husband of Rhonda M. Manning Kilgore, died Aug. 6, 2001, at his home.
born in Calhoun Falls, he was a son of the late Claude Dewitt and Louise Spence Kilgore. He was an ironworker for C.R. Cotton Construction Co. and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Adya James of Calhoun Falls; a son, Lee Napier of North Carolina; two sisters, Kathy Grant and Jean Dunn, both of Abbeville; two brothers, Jimmy Kilgore of Calhoun Falls and David Kilgore of Spartanburg; and a grandson.
Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Latimer cemetery by the Rev. Jerry Dalton.
The family is at the home of his mother-in-law, Miriam Manning, 145 Fairway Road, Calhoun Falls.

born in Brookhaven, N.Y., she was a daughter of Barbara Brissenden Frost and the late Dennis Frost. She had been an employee of Maxxium Medical in Honea Path.
Survivors include her mother of Las Vegas; a son, Jawn-Paul Hernandez of Donalds; two daughters, Angela Vincent of Rialto, Calif., and Monay Hernandez of Donalds; three brothers, Paul Tierney of Donalds, Shane Frost of Fontana, Calif., and Dennis Tierney of Clinton; and two sisters, Tina Thomson of Las Vegas and Deb Tierney of Ecorse, Mich.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ware Shoals cemetery by the Rev. Bruce Chambers.

GREENWOOD — Burdell Roundtree, 72, of 109 Oakland St., husband of Julia Roundtree, died Aug., 7, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital.
born in Greenwood County, he was a son of Alex and Mahalia Sullivan Roundtree. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a custodian at Lander University. He was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Earl and Claude Roundtree, both of Greenwood; and two sisters, Ollie Roundtree of Greenwood and Emma Mosley of Abbeville.
The family is at the home of his brother at 107 Oakland St.

GREENWOOD — Services for Burdell Roundtree, of 109 Oakland Street, will be conducted at 1 Friday at Robinson & Son Mortuary by the Rev. John R. Brightharp. Burial is in Evening Star Memorial Gardens.

Mary Ouzts Williams
GREENWOOD — Mary Alice Ouzts Williams, 62, of 704-A Green St., wife of Thomas Williams, died Aug. 7, 2001, at her home.
born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Cornelia Childs Ouzts.
Survivors include her husband of the home; five daughters, Diana Brown, Barbara Lockhart, Deborah Williams, Alice Williams and Sarah Williams, all of Greenwood; a sister, Daisy Collier of Greenwood; 15 grandchildren, one reared in the home, Rebecca Williams; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family is at the home and at the home of a daughter, Alice Williams, 706 Green St.

Dot Dominick
GREENWOOD - Dorothy Elizabeth NDotÓ Free Dominick, 84, resident of 103 Northwoods Road, widow of James Cecil Dominick, Ph.G. died August 5, 2001.
born in Ninety Six, April 13, 1917, she was a daughter of the late William Jefferson and Mary Elizabeth Coleman Free. She was a graduate of Ninety Six High School and the Greenwood Business College.
Mrs. Dominick was co-owner of Dominick's Pharmacy for over 40 years and helped to establish Dominick's Hardware House. She was very involved in the Greenwood business community and made many contributions. She actively participated with her brothers, George and Colie in the ownership and management of Edgewood cemetery and Mausoleum. Friends and relatives will remember the love she had for each of them, her many kindnesses and her wonderful sense of humor.
A member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Ernest Workers Sunday School Class and the Mary Witt Circle of the Church. Mrs. Dominick was a member of the Pilot Club of Greenwood, widows of the York Rite and the Greenwood AARP.
Surviving are a daughter, Saundra J. Dominick of Greenwood; two sons and daughters-in-law James F. 'Jim' and Shirley T. Dominick and W. Rhett and Anna G. Dominick, both of Greenwood; a brother, Ben D. Free of Greenwood; a sister, Marema Milam of Ninety Six; four granddaughters, Shannon Dominick of Greenville, Shelby, Leslie and Elizabeth Dominick, all of Greenwood.
Mrs. Dominick was predeceased by thirteen brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted 11AM Tuesday at Rehoboth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Curtis and Dr. J. William Harris officiating.
Entombment will be in Edgewood Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Bob Dominick, Buck Free, J.S. Stroud, Bill Rambo, Sr., Bubba Free, Jeff Milam, Dave Free, Bill Free, and Randy Free.

born in Elberton, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Jessie Carroll and Lillie Gertrude Shiflett Rosser. She was a retired weaver in the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith. She was twice married
, first to Richard Crutchfield, and second to Bennett Evans.
Survivors include two daughters, Janie Hutchison of Calhoun Falls and Karen Annette Malone of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Marion “Tracy” Evans of Calhoun Falls and Jeffrey Wayne Crutchfield of Santa Maria, Calif.; five grandchildren; four brothers, Jessie C. Rosser Jr. and Ronald Rosser of Abbeville and Russell Rosser and Jackie Rosser, both of Calhoun Falls; and two sisters, Betty Jo Horton and Martha Walker, both of Abbeville.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 Tuesday in Bethlehem United Methodist Church cemetery, Elbert County, Ga., by the Rev. Jerry Dalton of Northside Baptist Church.

born in McCormick County, she was a daughter of Julia Harris and Joe Louis Jones. She was a member of The Holy Rock Reformed Episcopal Church. She graduated from high school in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was formerly employed in the textile industry.
Survivors include her mother of McCormick; her father of Bennettsville; her husband, Alton Leggs of Abbeville; two sons, James Hall of Brooklyn and Michael Hall of Abbeville; a daughter, Ebony Hall of Greenwood; two grandsons; and a grandmother, Mary Harris of McCormick.
