LANGLEY -- Mrs. Maebelle Morris Langley, 93, widow of Harry DuBose Langley, died Tuesday, January 25, 2000, in the McNair Nursing Center. Funeral services were held Friday, January 28, 2000, in the Lake City First Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Lake City Memorial Park di-rected by Brockington Funeral Home. Mrs. Langley was born in Lake City, a daughter of the late Asbury Daniel Morris and Lula Melissa Dennis Morris. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and Draughins Business College of Columbia. She retired as bookkeeper with Belkšs Department Store of Lake City after many years of service. She was a member of Lake City First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years and a member of the Community Missionary Society. Survivors are: one son, Jimmy Langley of Lake City; two daughters, Tootsie Yates of Columbia; and Zella Small of Huntington Beach, CA; and one sister, Olive Kirby of Lake City.

MOORE -- Jackson Lee "Jack" Moore, 72, formerly of Lake City, died Thursday, January 20, 2000, at his residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 29, 2000, in the Pergamos United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the Cook Cemetery directed by Brockington Funeral Home. Mr. Moore was born in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Bertie Jahue Moore and Annie Mae McCutcheon Moore. He was a graduate of Lake City High School and attended USC. He was an advertising salesman and a Methodist. Surviving is one brother, Dr. Lorie W. Moore of Four Oaks, North Carolina.

REARDON -- Wade Hibert (W.H.) Reardon, 81, died Tuesday, January 25, 2000, in a Sumter hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 27, 2000, in Midway Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. Reardon was born in Clarendon County, a son of Hattie and Wade Reardon. He was a farmer and a member of Midway Presbyterian Church. Survivors are: his wife, Gladys Reardon of New Zion; four sons, Dalton Reardon and Al Reardon, both of New Zion; and Glenn Reardon and Oris Reardon, both of Kingstree; and one sister, Myrtie Baker of Lancaster.

DUKE -- Bishop Leroy (Roy) Duke, 76, died Tuesday, January 25, 2000, in a Sumter hospital. Funeral services were held in Midway Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. Duke was born in Clarendon County, a son of the late Joseph Bishop Duke and Margaret Othell Harrington Duke. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member and Deacon of Midway Presbyterian Church. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Agnes Mouzon Duke of New Zion; and two daughters, Donna Faye D. Welch of Sumter; and Marilyn Elizabeth D. Kennedy of Kingstree.

EDDINGTON -- Memorial services for Cecilia "Sugar" Eddington were held Saturday, February 19, 2000, at the Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel, conducted by Bishop J. Bernard McCray. Miss Eddington died Friday, February 11, 2000, at the Carolinas Hospital System-Florence. Survivors are: one daughter, Samone Eddington of Kings-tree; her father, Horace Bynum of Lane; her mother, Evone Eddington; and five sisters, Cheryl Brunson of Daytona Beach, FL; Belinda Eddington of Manning; Acooyah Shaw of Fayetteville, NC; Adwania By-num and Cornelia Bynum, both of Lane.

GENTRY -- Darrell Randolph (Randy) Gentry, 28, died Monday, February 14, 2000, in a Florence hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 17, 2000, in the Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Kingstree Memorial Gardens directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. Gentry was born in Scotland County, NC, a son of O. H. Gentry, Jr. and Jeanette Hill Gentry. He was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and was a volunteer firefighter for Williamsburg County Fire Department Mt. Vernon Station 2. He was a Methodist. Survivors, in addition to his parents of Greeleyville, are: two brothers, Odis H. Gentry, III, of Kingstree and Keith Gentry of Greeleyville; and his grandmother, Mrs. Ada Hill of Red Springs, NC.

McCREA -- Samuel W. (Bill) McCrea, 70, died Saturday, February 19, 2000, at his residence. Funeral services were held Monday, February 21, 2000, at the graveside in Tisdale Cemetery directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. McCrea was born in Williamsburg County, a son of Arthur E. and Martha Tisdale McCrea. He was a retired carpenter and an avid fisherman. Survivors are: one son, Michael McCrea of Delaware; one daughter, Marilyn Ivison of Florida; and one sister, JoAnne B. Bradshaw of Turkey, NC.

WRENN -- Christine Parker Wrenn, 66, widow of Leo Franklin Wrenn, died Monday, February 14, 2000, in a Myrtle Beach hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 17, 2000, in the Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel in Kingstree, conducted by the Rev. Harold Lewis. Burial followed in Kingstree Memorial Gardens directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mrs. Wrenn was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Mrs. Hattie Barfield Parker and the late Harvey N. Parker. She was a retired merchant and a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church. Survivors, in addition to her mother of Kingstree, are: four daughters, Wendy Henderson of Flat Rock, NC; Tracy Dark of Surfside Beach; Lois Kirtley of Garden City; and Linda Cantey of Myrtle Beach; and two sisters, Elise Tisdale of Kingstree; and Faye Borres of Orange, TX.

IZZARD -- Funeral services for Anna Mae Izzard were held Saturday, February 19, 2000, at Union Baptist Church in Salters, conducted by the Rev. Willie Bryant. Burial followed in Rockyford Cemetery in Salters directed by Dimery and Rogers Funeral Home. Ms. Izzard, 41, died Monday, February 14, 2000, at her residence in Columbia. She was born August 1, 1958, in Salters, a daughter of Mrs. Anna Lee Izzard and the late Willie Gamble. She was reared by her grandparents, the late Wilson and Idell Izzard. She was a graduate of C. E. Murray High School. She attended Benedict and Midlands Technical Colleges, both of Columbia. She was employed as a nurse at White Oak Manor in Columbia. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Survivors, in addition to her mother of New York City, NY, are: her grandmother, Mrs. Julia Gamble of Lane; and four sisters, Myrna Izzard of Columbia; Brenda Izzard, Cora Lee Izzard and Tatisha Pressley, all of New York City.

McKNIGHT -- Funeral services for Isaac "Ike" McKnight were held Saturday, February 19, 2000, at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Kingstree, conducted by the Rev. Garrett. Burial followed in Faith United Methodist Church Cemetery in Kingstree directed by Dimery and Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. McKnight, 71, died February 13, 2000, at Conway Hospital in Conway. He was born July 27, 1928, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Peter McKnight and Janie McFadden McKnight. He was the widower of the late Mattie A. McKnight. He was a former employee of Baxter Laboratories in Kingstree. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and served on the Usher Board and the United Methodist Men. He was a member of the Eveready Masonic Lodge No. 431. Survivors are: two daughters, Rosalyn McKnight of Atlanta, GA; and Mrs. Janie Parker Covington of Kingstree; three sons, William Everett McKnight of Radcliffe, KY; and Harry Burnette McKnight of Columbia; and Adam McKnight of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Watis Cooper of Brooklyn, NY: Sam Lonnie McKnight of Miami, FL; and Peter McKnight of Kings-tree; three sisters, Ethel McKnight of Kingstree; Mrs. Rosa Harris of Philadelphia, PA; and Mrs. Claudia Whitney of Brooklyn, NY; one reared as a sister, Mrs. Barbara Pressley of Philadelphia, PA; one reared as a brother, Alford McKnight; grandchildren reared as his own, David Parker and Luniece Parker, both of Charlotte, NC.
