Therese Kusk

CHESTERFIELD, Mich. -Mrs. Therese Lucht Kusk, 87, formerly of Rock Hill, died Friday, April 16, 1999.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Bass Funeral Home, with Deacon Jim Hyland officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.

A native of Germany, Mrs. Kusk was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was the widow of Evald Kusk.

Surviving are two sons, Heinz W. Boden of Leesburg, Fla., and Manfred A. Boden of St. Clair, Mich.; her daughter, Rese Richter of Palm Coast, Fla.; her sister, Johanna Hammes of Germany; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bass Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the S.C. Commission for the Blind, 339 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Joseph Mitch

FORT MILL - Mr. Joseph E. Mitch, 80, of 165 Cedar Hollow died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at Mount Zion Foursquare Church in Pineville, N.C.

A native of Missoula, Mont., Mr. Mitch graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont. He then graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., with a master's degree in electrical engineering.

Mr. Mitch is survived by his wife, Mary S. Mitch; two daughters, Margaret Phelps of Park Forest, Ill., and Ann Mitch-Resignalo of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two sons, Robert Mitch of Oregon and James Mitch of Masury, Ohio; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joseph Mitch at Mount Zion Foursquare Church.

Luther Sadler

SHARON - Mr. Luther Lamar Sadler, 77, of Sharon died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at Dowdy Gardner Nursing Home in Richland County.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Gene Thompson officiating.

A native of Sharon, Mr. Sadler was a graduate of Sharon High School and attended Carolina Business School. He was a member of Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church.

Surviving is his brother, Oscar Sadler of Sharon.

The family will receive friends at the Bratton Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9.

Memorials may be made to the Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery Association in care of Rusty Thomson, 2390 Thomson Quarter Road, Sharon, SC 29741.

Troy Tilley

BISHOPVILLE - Mr. Troy Edward Tilley, 36, of Bishopville, formerly of Rock Hill, died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at Toumey Hospital in Sumter.

The funeral will be 7 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Bill Shytle officiating. The burial will be private.

Surviving are two brothers, Steve Tilley of Coachville, Pa., and Herman E. Tilley of West Chester, Pa.; and three sisters, Rachel Schwoerer of Coachville, Dianne Greenier of Lakeland, Fla., and Debra Burkey of Winnsboro.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Lois Weller

SHARON - Mrs. Lois Hope White Weller, 71, of Sharon died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. A.B. Plexico officiating and the Revs. James McGill and Gerald Ramsey assisting. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

A Sharon native, Mrs. Weller was an inn keeper. She was a member of Ocean Grove Women's Club in Ocean Grove, N.J., and of Thrift United Methodist Church in Charlotte.

Surviving are four brothers, Bob White, Lyndel White and Paul White, all of Sharon, and Joe White of Rock Hill; and her sister, Isabel White Moore of Charlotte.

The family will receive friends at the Bratton Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, 3852 Woodlawn St., Sharon, SC 29742, and to Thrift United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 205, Paul Creek, NC 28130.

Lillia Gilliam

UNION - Mrs. Lillia Gilliam, 86, died Friday, April 16, 1999.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul Baptist Church, Union, with the Rev. Isaiah Harvey officiating. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery.

Mrs. Gilliam was born in Fairfield County. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Roosevelt Gilliam of Lancaster; her brother, Clarence Trapp of Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church, 912 Clinton Ave., Lancaster.

Memorials may be made to the Mama Lillia Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1114, Lancaster, SC 29721, in lieu of flowers.
