Fannie Rogers

CHESTER - Mrs. Fannie Ree Brown Rogers, 64, of 2625 Ashford Road died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Chester County Hospital.

Arrangements will be announced by Denton Funeral Home.

Isaiah Sibley

ROCK HILL - Mr. Isaiah Sibley, 58, of 924 Saluda St. died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at home.

Arrangements will be announced by Parker Funeral Home.

Lillie Turner

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lillie Mae Blanton Turner, 75, of 1044 S. Jones Ave. died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greene Funeral Home. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Turner was a retired owner and operator of Turner Day Care. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Surviving are her husband, James D. Turner; two sons, Bobby Dean Henderson and Wayne Turner, both of Rock Hill; three daughters, Peggy Brown of Summerfield, Fla., Carolyn Godbee of York and Christine Johnson of Rock Hill; two brothers, Charles Blanton and Tommy Blanton, both of Blacksburg; her sister, Irene Costner of Blacksburg; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Jim Brown

TEGA CAY - Mr. James "Jim" Willis Brown, 48, of Windjammer Drive died Saturday, April 3, 1999.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frank Kik officiating.

Mr. Brown was born in Shelby, N.C. He was a 1969 graduate of Independence High School in Charlotte and an alumnus of the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Mr. Brown was a sales representative. He was a member of Carolina's Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill.

Surviving are his wife, Marisa R. Brown of Tega Cay; his daughter, Lyndsy Robinson of Tega Cay; his mother, Daisy Brown of Rockwell, N.C.; and his brother, Kenneth Brown of Rockwell.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Wolfe Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Carolina's Covenant Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 1090 Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715.

Joseph Buckson

BALTIMORE - Mr. Joseph "Joe" Buckson, formerly of Chester County, died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center.

Mr. Buckson was the uncle of Mrs. Margie Buckson King of Chester.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Christopher King's Funeral Home.

Perry Faile

LANCASTER - Mr. Perry Donald "Fuzzy" Faile, 58, of 1696 Hillcrest Ave. died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Baptist Church, with the Revs. Dale Roach and Bill Poore officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Faile was employed by Springs Industries as a sheet metal fabricator and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was the son of Perry D. Faile and Ella Faile.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Dawkins Faile of the home; his son, David Faile of Lancaster; his daughter, Donna Jean Long of Lancaster; three stepsons, Terry Shehane and Eric Shehane of Lancaster and Michael Shehane of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Morgan and Karen Lloyd, both of Lancaster; two sisters, Edith F. Gheant and Perry Lee Emory, both of Lancaster; and 16 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Hartley Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1152 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.

The family is at the home of his sister Edith Gheant, 1566 Winthrop Ave., Lancaster.

Minnie Gladden

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Minnie Rollins "Mickey" Gladden, 74, of 1089 Dunlap Roddey Road died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Greene Funeral Home, with the Rev. Matthew Horne officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

A native of Catawba, Mrs. Gladden was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mettie Rollins. She was retired from Celanese and was a member of the Roddey Baptist Church. Mrs. Gladden was the widow of Samuel Mathieson Gladden. She was the daughter of the late Terrell Wilkinson Sr. and Alice Beckham Wilkinson.

Surviving are her son, Robert Bruce Gladden of Rock Hill; three daughters, Linda Gladden Boyd of Clover, and Chris Gladden Cordell and Lisa Gladden Adams, both of Rock Hill; three sisters, Ruby R. Vaughn, Maude R. Faulkenberry and Martha R. Roach of Rock Hill; eight grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Greene Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice Community Care, 325 S. Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730 or to the charity of one's choice.

Lillie Mae Judge

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lillie Mae Brown Judge, 67, of 454 Dave Lyle Blvd. died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church No. 1 in the Landsford community, with the Rev. Alan Stewart officiating, assisted by Dr. Marian Crawford and the Rev. Al Hayes.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Judge was born in Chester County. She was a member of the Mt. Zion AME Zion Church No. 1. She was a missionary, deaconess, member of the hymn choir, the kitchen committee staff, a life member of the Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society. Mrs. Judge was retired from Lewisville Middle School and Lewisville High School as a food service attendant.

Survivors are her husband, Willie M. Judge of the home; three sons, Ronald Lee Judge of the home, George W. Judge of Fort Lawn and Calvin Eugene Judge of Rock Hill; three daughters, Janie M. Judge, Sadie Mae Judge and Alberta Judge, all of Rock Hill; a brother, Willie Brown of Catawba; and two sisters, Dorothy Curry and Ora Lee Barber, both of Rock Hill; nine grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The body may be viewed from noon until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the King's Funeral Home.
